John exceeded all of our expectations! We hired him for our September 2024 wedding, and he was communicative, punctual, and extremely easy to work with. He listened to all of our requests and executed them beautifully on our wedding day. He was the perfect addition to our ceremony and cocktail hour, and I would recommend him to any couple!
We are so glad we had John be a part of our special day. His music added a special layer of beauty to our ceremony and cocktail hour. Friends and family were all so impressed and being able to walk down to his acoustic version of black bird will be one of my favorite memories. He is reliable, professional and incredibly talented and will be a great addition to any celebration.
John was one of my personal favorite vendors at our wedding. He was easy going, able to adapt, professional and experienced. We had a brief phone conversation and he nailed everything I wanted. During the call we decided we didn't need any light music during the ceremony as the officiant would be speaking the whole time, but my officiant had a large gap that was expected, and John jumped right in and started playing light music. He was great, perfect and all my bridesmaids commented he was the best part of the wedding for them!
John was one of our first vendors chosen for our October 2022 wedding. And by far, the best person we had on our special day. John incapsulated everything we had envisioned and more with his music at both the ceremony and cocktail hour. But more importantly, John was just an awesome guy TJ be around for our day. We couldn’t imagine such a special day without him doing everything and more to make sure we could focus on each other. Please trust me when I say if you are reading this review that you found the one. Thanks John for making Camila and I’s wedding a forever memory with your music.
John was great - thorough communication ahead of the wedding (he was very prompt to respond to emails, answer questions, etc.), played the songs we requested, and sounded lovely. He played during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and I would hire him again for another event.
At the last minute we realized that we didn't have music at our ceremony (outdoor and different location than reception). We found John on Wedding Wire and I'm definitely glad we did. He worked with me to find songs that would work perfectly. Guests commented on how beautiful his music was. I actually wish I had asked him to play at the cocktail hour as well!
John was excellent, we hired him for our wedding three weeks before our event, not ideal planning on our part. However we lucked out as John was awesome and played our favorite songs and an incredible version of Canon in D with his acoustic guitar. Then played Beatles, van Morrison, Paul Simon, basically some of my husband and I’s favorite singers. John was also super chill to work with.
John Paul provided an artistic element to our wedding that delighted our guests.
His style is gorgeous. We asked him to arrange some old punk songs in a classical style, which he did brilliantly! It gave our understated service an edgy touch that wasn't obvious to everyone.
He's a talented musician, very easy to work with & flexible. You'll be so glad you booked him!

My husband and I had the BEST experience working with John. He arrived early and was exceptionally professional! He set everything up quickly and was ready to go without any instruction needed. Communication via phone, email, etc., was always prompt, positive and patient, which was very helpful! His music was absolutely beautiful and set a memorable ambiance throughout the whole evening. He even added a special touch by playing my husband’s favorite song, which he did amazingly and was the icing on the cake to our special night. I highly recommend John for any venue!
John was an excellent addition to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He gave the ceremony a very intimate feel, and had no problem learning a few songs that we requested. He was very helpful in choosing the music. Highly recommended.
