Was wonderful in every sense of the word. Great price, great photos, wonderful communication, and he has a Corgi so you know he’s a great person as well! I would recommend to anyone, especially since you get to keep all your own photos without having them watermarked for exclusive rights.

When we began to look for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted someone who would capture special, candid moments between us and our guests. John was referred to us by a friend, and when I went on his website, I knew I wanted him to take the pictures at our wedding...His photos have heart and soul.. all while capturing the beauty of the indoor and outdoor surroundings. We met with John before and after our wedding and found him to be very down to earth and friendly, as well as extremely accommodating. He took so many wonderful pictures, we struggled with making our final selections for the album. As a destination bride, I was extremely nervous about selecting the best photographer. Photography was #1 on my list of importance besides my dress. I discovered John Lagomaggiore on the internet in search for a wedding photographer. I was impressed at his background in journalism photography and the beautiful photographs on his website. At first I was hesitant to choose him because I was not sure if he would be good at taking both portraits (which I love) and photojournalistic spontaneous shots. In emailing him and speaking to him on the phone he was prompt, extremely professional, and emailed me more photographs of weddings he had photographed. I also shopped around and looked at 5 other photographers in the area, and he by far had the best photographs in the Niagara Falls area and had a reasonable price. It seemed a little too good to be true, however, after emailing him back and forth for months I decided to booked him and emailed him on and off with questions before the wedding. Since my wedding was at the end of November (thanksgiving weekend), I was also very concerned about being able to take photographs outside after the ceremony. He assured me that it would be ok and had a backup plan in case the weather was bad. On the day of the wedding, he was on time, very professional, easy to work with, captured all of the important moments during the ceremony, took us to some spectacular areas near the falls to take photos after the ceremony (we lucked out and it was 50 degrees instead of the usual 30), and took wonderful photos during the reception. He also took an abundance of portrait shots at the church after the ceremony with the different groupings of individuals and I was thrilled the way they came out as well! Before he left at the end of the night he came to me to make sure that there was nothing else I wanted him to capture before he left. All of my photographs were gorgeous and I ended up purchasing an album, enlargements, and extra photographs from him. I would highly recommend him. He made the entire experience easy and provided spectacular results! He made the small church look amazing in the photos. He also provided me with the photographs, albums, and enlargements in a very timely manner so that I could have them to show everyone back home who could not attend the wedding. I could not have asked for anything more and am so glad that I selected him to be my photographer. Even if I had paid double I know that I would not have had better results. The photos were perfect and now I can look at them over and over and over again with a huge smile on my face and forget about all of the stress before of planning and all of the other things that did not go right because in the end I have my amazing photos.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from John Lagomaggiore Photography. From the very first time I contacted John he has always been extremely professional, courteous and returned calls and emails promptly. My wedding photos are absolutely beautiful and I constantly receive compliments on how great they are!!! John captured all of the special moments of our wedding day through a combination of posed and candid shots. He takes several photos of each pose which is nice because then you are able to select the perfect one where everyone looks great! All of my photos came out so amazing it was difficult selecting my favorite shots for my albums. I contacted John about having difficulty choosing photos and we worked together to make the perfect wedding album!!! Many of my wedding attendants love the photos as well and wanted to buy copies of certain shots and John was extremely accommodating and prices were very reasonable. I have ordered several additional shots along with the photos in my package because they came out so beautifully!! If you are looking for amazing photos and a photographer who is extremely professional, courteous and accommodating, John is the photographer you want to have with you on your wedding day!!!
