I am an East Tennessee based photojournalist and documentary photographer.
I'm committed to telling the authentic stories of real people. Photography isn't a side hustle for me, nor is it something I decided to get into after leaving another career. I've spent years travelling the world as an international photojournalist, developing a unique style, learning about both the power of, and how to use, visual rhetoric to tell the story.
Photojournalism and documentary photography is not simply 'candid photos.' It is about allowing the viewer an opportunity to see through the image, and into the subject's true self. A good photograph tells the story of our shared humanity.
