We selected the Dreamscape band for our wedding and boy, were we IMPRESSED. We received endless compliments from our guests, and everyone said they had never seen a group SWARM the dance floor like they did when the band opened the dance portion of the evening. The band played crowd favorites with enough variety to keep people interested throughout the evening, and they had enough experience and professionalism to make choices on the fly that worked so well for our evening. We were given white glove service by the band owner, JP, throughout the months of planning. We had a special version of our first dance song that we learned choreography to, and the band learned it exactly as it we choreographed it and it went off without a hitch. I wanted a father-daughter dance song that was not in their repertoire, and the band learned it, no problem. We had a special private last dance and the band suggested it be played in acoustic for the vibes -- we agreed, and boy, were we thankful we did it that way, because the vibes were immaculate. The guitarist even came out onto the dance floor for a song or two! We are still receiving compliments regarding our band a month and a half later. If you work with JP and Dreamscape, you cannot go wrong.

The John Parker Band was OUTSTANDING at my Son and Daughter-in-Law's wedding at the Omni William Penn! They are all such talented musicians, and our guests really enjoyed the range of music they played. They helped to create the absolute perfect ambiance at the reception and none of us wanted the evening to end...we danced the night away and before we knew it their magical wedding day came to an end. They made the reception come alive! John Parker was fabulous to work with from beginning to end and ready to customize the song selection to whatever we all wanted. The John Parker Band is the band you want and need for your special event!

We had the most incredible time with John Parker at the helm of our reception! He made the process so smooth and made great recommendations and decisions to keep the energy flowing through the whole evening. Our wedding guests could not stop commenting on the band and how much fun they had dancing, which was so important and meaningful for our wedding day. Cannot recommend this band more!

Our wedding took place December of 2017, and people are still talking about how great the JPB was! Not many people remember a wedding from 6 years ago, but that shows you how absolutely amazing this band is.

We had heard of John Parker from various people. If we could give him 10 stars we would, because he & his band rocked out our reception! They have a really uniquely classy high energy style. Originally we were afraid we wouldn't find a band to keep both our friends and our parents' guests happy, but we were SO wrong. JP nailed the playlist & all we are still hearing about, weeks later, is "that band".
Super helpful & responsive too.. truly can't say enough good things. If he's available you should book him, like now!

John Parker was the best addition to our wedding. From start to finish, the reception was full of energy, smiling faces of all ages, and dancing. I cannot recommend John and his band enough. We booked JPB for our cocktail hour (live pianist) and reception (10-piece band).
John is a natural and the upmost professional. We had a wedding party of hard-to-pronounce last names which he handled with grace. One of the small details I noticed was how we got the energy up in the reception before the bridal parties, parents, and bride & groom were introduced. Everyone was having a good time before we even got to the party.
Next, let's talk about the performance. WOW. Our wedding was a few months ago and I'm still hearing about how amazing he was. He's the full package - he's got the talent, the looks, and the charisma. Our friends and family spent all night long on the dance floor, from the young guests to the 90+ year old grandmothers. The quote of the night was "where did you find this band?! they are AMAZING!"
We were initially interested in JPB because of their rock and roll abilities. He and the band brought these songs to a new level. From Journey, ACDC, and Bruce; to Sinatra and Con Te Partiro and Bruno Mars. This band can truly do it all - and they will do it well AND in a way that isn't hokey. I could not believe how beautiful John and his daughter sounded singing a duet of Con Te Partiro (which was a surprise to us and much appreciated).
Finally, I'll mention how John was able to balance rocking the socks off the wedding, without stealing the show. Above all, it was still our wedding, which lends to his ability to MC and move through the regular wedding events while keeping the fun going all night long.
Really, from start to finish, JPB band brought our wedding to the next level. They were so great we have already booked them for another event.

The Dreamscape band helped make our wedding at the LeMont amazing. You guys were great!
Everyone loved the jazz trio during cocktail hour and the band was amazing during the dancing part of the reception. And Sweet Caroline during the tee shirt toss was so fun - the whole crowd was up and moving! Thank you all!
I say this without hyperbole: I wouldn't be surprised if the John Parker Band is the best wedding band on the entire East Coast. These guys ROCK. And they bring personality — John always has a fan blowing his long blond 80s-style locks as he performs, and he occasionally breaks out a keytar. The whole band is wildly talented. We hired an 8-piece for our May 2023 wedding, and our guests would not stop talking about how this was the best wedding band they'd ever experienced. They play an expansive range of music that's appreciated by a wide array of people, and they're detail-oriented in the planning process so you get exactly what you want on the big day.
My tip (besides hiring this band): Don't give them too many music recommendations. Give them a general idea of what you like and don't like, and let John read the room — he's a pro at it. The band even learned our first dance song just for our wedding, as it wasn't on their list of 1,000 tracks they already knew — we hadn't expected it, and it was a sweet surprise. This band is worth every penny. It MAKES the wedding. (This was actually my third John Parker performance. My husband and I had seen him play multiple weddings before, and we literally planned our wedding date around his availability.)
The band was nothing short of amazing at our reception, & John was available and super helpful throughout the process. We did not have to worry about anything with him!
And as my husband & many of our guests are in the performing arts ourselves we really appreciated their playing & singing, and our friends won't stop telling us we need to plan another party to dance to them again.

We hired the Dreamscape Band to play our wedding and we are so glad we did! The band was fun, energetic, and they played all our favorite oldies. They even coordinated a funny father/daughter dance for us. If they didn't know a song, they would play the recorded version and then add in their instruments to make it sound like it was live. My family and friends were on the dance floor allllll night!
John Parker did our wedding and he was AMAZING. So fun and talented, he kept everybody dancing the whole time with all kinds of great music. 10/10!
John Parker was SO organized and professional, he made everything very easy. Kept us organized through the whole process from the beginning when we first met & booked the band - up until our wedding day. He was with us & quick to help whenever we needed advice or suggestions. When it came to the band, we were blown away.. our guests all danced endlessly & the band was so fun. All in all can't say enough good things about our experience with JP! Our friends and family keep telling us about “that band”, even now, weeks later.. Best wedding ever!
John Parker Band blew us away! They can sing and play anything. The dance floor at our wedding was full the entire night and all of our guest were raving about how great they were. I recommend them for any event to keep the party going!

We are SO happy we chose Dreamscape - John Parker Bands for our wedding at the William Penn. They sounded incredible and we received so many compliments on them. We originally heard John Parker Band perform at a family wedding and immediately knew we needed them at our own wedding at the Carnegie Music Hall. John was fun to work with throughout the entire planning process. We only needed to fill out a few online forms and had a few personal phone calls to get all the details squared away. He answered all of our questions and helped us pick the proper band arrangement to fit our venue. He also mixed us custom MP3 cuts for our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance based on our request. On the day of the wedding, he emceed and provided the entertainment for the reception. We had a few events (cake cutting and champagne tower) with pre-selected songs that he and the band performed. Everything was absolutely perfect. Outside of those two events, we let him pick the set list based on the crowd and everyone stayed on the dance floor for the entire night. We have received COUNTLESS compliments saying it was the best band that they have ever heard at a wedding. It was truly an incredible performance that we are thankful to have had.
If you are thinking about booking John Parker Band, stop thinking about it and just do it! The John Parker Band was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our wedding. We are still talking about how great they were, and so are our guests!! John makes things so easy from start to finish. He is easy to get in touch with and is a great help (he even gives good advice and has great suggestions based on experience)! John is a professional and knows what he is doing. One thing we also really liked about this band as opposed to others we spoke with, is they do not perform as if they are doing a cookie-cutter, pre-rehearsed "set." Some bands we talked to told US what songs they would be playing from start to finish, even if they were not songs we were into. The John Parker Band has such a vast repertoire of songs and genres. They played music that we loved and even took live requests! John is also a great MC and picks up on social ques from guests to keep things alive. We are already talking about how we cannot wait to have another event one day just so we can have this band back. Music makes or breaks your wedding. You cannot go wrong with the John Parker Band.
John Parker was absolutely amazing at our wedding. Got everyone to dance and kept it going for the whole thing. Big fun personality and awesome band. And was the least stressful and organized vendor too, which as a professional was a breath of fresh air. This is a no-brainer people!
We LOVED working with John Parker and the Dreamscape band!! John & the musicians went above and beyond to create the perfect musical arrangements for our unique ceremony choices. We booked the John Parker Band for our wedding reception at a local hotel and could not recommend them more for events in the Pittsburgh area! We were very impressed with John’s professionalism, respect for our wishes, and of course the talent of the band members!
John took the time to patiently organize and plan collaboratively with us (a real difference-maker!). He took all of our notes and requests into account and provided a night of entertainment that our guests loved. We received tons of compliments on the band from guests of all ages.

City Heat is a phenomenal wedding band. They first played for another family wedding 6 years ago and kept the dance floor packed the entire night.
They also learned a song specifically for us so they didn't have to play a recording of it!
We enjoyed this band so much again, that we have requested City Heat again for next year!

WOW! What can I say... John Parker and his band ROCK!
My now wife and I booked The John Parker Band for our wedding reception. From start to finish, they really set the tone and had our guests dancing all night!
I received countless compliments from friends and family about how great they were. John & his band excelled in every music genre we requested... everything from 80s rock to Frank Sinatra. They had guests from age 2 to age 96 dancing for the entirety of our reception.
John's attention to detail and preparation beforehand gave me the confidence that everything would be picture perfect... and it was! John and I had a couple of calls before the reception to make sure we were on the same page for how we wanted things... and to make sure all of our names were pronounced correctly.
Having gone to many weddings before my own, I knew how important the music aspect was. With that said, I wanted to have the best of the best for our wedding reception... and with the performance The John Parker Band put on, I know I fulfilled that goal!
We couldn't be happier with the Dreamscape band for the wedding.
Band members were professional and lots of fun, and did not leave anything to chance.

Knowing John was going to be there singing & emceeing, and that we worked with him up to the wedding, really made us thankful he was available for our wedding. He made everything SO easy.
John & band were a big WOW at our wedding. Awesome with the best singers, (JP has an amazing voice) a perfect mix of old school & some really great newer music too. No junk music that's so out there now either. A perfect mix for all our family & friends. And his on-stage personality really connected, he took guests' requests & just made everyone a part of our day.
We still are still getting compliments from guests about "that band". We're both Professional people & didn't really like or relate any of the musicians or companies we contacted at first. But once we spoke with JP, his energy & professionalism came across from the start, and he was so helpful with our planning too. He was majorly WORTH IT!

Dreamscape was absolutely amazing at our wedding!
The band was one of the best live bands we have ever heard, and we received countless compliments about the band and the music from our wedding guests.
They played a wonderful selection of appropriate dinner music while guests were enjoying their meals, and when the dance floor opened they played a great mix of songs all night long, keeping guests of all ages on the dance floor until the celebrations ended.
John Parker was also extremely easy to work with during the planning stages - we could not be happier!

Dreamscape was absolutely the best live band I have ever heard.
We had them play at the wedding and they blew the roof off the place. I can’t tell you how many of our guests have raved about the band and how wonderful they were.
We we’re more than pleased with our decision to have John Parker and Dreamscape entertain our wedding guests! In fact, the crowd was still on their feet when their performance ended so we requested that they continue playing….and they did!

The dance floor was full all night. Very upbeat & lively.

COVID canceled my son’s first wedding date, and John worked with us on the new date (1 year later)… the wedding venue’s remodeling canceled the wedding on the second date… so with 3 months until the wedding it was relocated. John worked with us to accommodate the change…WITHOUT charging any extra fees (not all vendors did that!).
With short notice John had to work out his logistics with a new facility, a new coordinator and a new planner.
And then the wedding finally happened! The reception was PERFECT! We could not have asked for a better emcee. John is definitely a professional and knows his business!! And the John Parker Band has great talent, great stage presence and made the reception a party worth remembering!! They went above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom created wonderful life time memories.

John Parker Band was absolutely AMAZING at our wedding! His band played a great mix of songs all night and kept all of our guests on their feet dancing the whole time!
He also provided the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour which both went off without a hitch. The quality of the music was top notch and we love watching video footage from our night to re-live it all.
John was also so easy to work with in the weeks leading up to our wedding and really put us at ease that he and the band would take care of everything and that our only job for the night was to have fun. We cannot recommend John and his band enough!!

John & Company were absolutely awesome for my wedding day.
The way they performed everything from modern day top 40 to oldies, which made our night amazing.
They accommodated all of our requests, and even performed our "first dance" song better than we could have thought.
My friends and I were dancing all night on the dance floor because of them.
I would highly recommend John Parker if you are in search of band for your special day!

From when we first contacted him he was super friendly and helpful. Always quick to answer our to our questions. Then there’s the band. In a word, WOW. They were so great & so fun I can’t even describe. They played all our favorites, took our guest’s requests and were super high energy and entertaining.. We were thrilled.
Was an easy stress free experience from start to finish. From the stories I’ve heard some go through with other vendors, anyone who doesn’t at least try to get JPB needs to have their head examined. Highly recommend them!
When planning my wedding to my wife, there were three things I said I wanted: a Fall wedding, on a Saturday, and the John Parker Band. We got married in June on a Sunday, but thank goodness we had the John Parker Band. My wife and I saw them perform at my sister's wedding two years ago and immediately knew we'd have to have them for our big day.
John Parker and the band were great about checking in with us and keeping communication open as the date grew closer. Luckily, we were able to celebrate our big day and have our favorite band with us.
The John Parker Band's talent and energy cannot be beat. Family members who often stay on the sideline were on their feet dancing. The band had a great selection of music, knew what songs to play to keep the party going, and were even able to play our mother-son and father-daughter dance songs. They listened to our requests and had great crowd work.
Countless guests of ours wanted to know the name of the band so that they could keep them in mind for future celebrations. We know our wedding reception wouldn't be half as fun if we'd gone with anyone else. We never wanted to leave the dance floor and we know you won't either.

The John Parker Band played at our wedding . He and his band did an OUTSTANDING job!!!! People are still raving about how much fun they had dancing at our wedding.
Not only did the John Parker Band provide an incredibly fun and celebratory atmosphere at our wedding, but he also made sure everything flowed perfectly to ensure no gaps in our big day. From the ceremony music to the very last dance, John ensured that everything was just perfect and organized, which delighted this very Type A bride :)
John was also super helpful throughout the whole year while we were planning our wedding. He was readily available to talk about any of our questions and concerns.
My husband and I are THRILLED with our wedding day and all of the services John provided. He and the whole band are incredibly talented people! We had a blast!! We're already trying to find an excuse to have another party or celebration to have The John Parker Band play again.

My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dreamscape. They helped to make our special night the most incredible evening. To say they were phenomenal is an understatement! Throughout the night, EVERYONE had such great things to say about Dreamscape. Our guests have even continued to talk about their spectacular performance to this day. There wasn't one minute throughout the entire night that we weren't all on the dance floor, smiling, enjoying the evening, to simply say- having the time of their lives! The way that they interacted with all of us throughout the night kept the night alive and something that we will all never forget. I, especially, loved when Tammi let me sing my favorite songs with her! I truly will never forget these many memories.
We, and our guests, were in complete awe when Dreamscape performed during dinner. They sang Opera, and even performed in Italian, which meant so much to so many of us.
When Jonathan and I think about Dreamscape and the evening we are speechless and brings tears to our eyes. We cannot thank Dreamscape enough for making our special night unforgettable.

Dreamscape did a phenomenal job and made our daughter's wedding truly special. They played during dinner songs that warmed our hearts and people of every age enjoyed. They entertained everyone of all ages and everyone had a wonderful time and could not stop complimenting the band. They were on time, understood the crowd and were truly a class act. He made our reception so much fun and truly was the highlight of our evening. We have received so many compliments from family and friends following our wedding saying how amazing the band was and that they have never been to such a fun wedding before ours. We used both the JP Band and City Heat bands at the weddings of our two daughters who were married this last year in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Both bands were easy to work with, professional and greatly entertaining. Our wedding guests at both weddings were absolutely wowed by each of the John Parker Bands that performed at our daughters' weddings. We could not imagine using any other band group for a wedding or other significant event!! John Parker and his bands are the best ever.

Wonderful! Just wonderful. Could not be happier with the service, performance and care that was taken. I hired the John Parker Band for my sisters wedding and they were phenomenal. The guests never stopped dancing. We asked John Parker to continue for an additional 2 hours because our guests were having so much fun. You cannot go wrong with this vendor. Absolutely the best!!!

John Parker Band was nothing short of FANTASTIC at our daughter's wedding. I continue to get comments from our guests on how incredible the band was. John went above and beyond from the moment we initially contacted him to be helpful, professional, and to make sure everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The dance floor was packed all night . Some of our other professional vendors at the reception, who obviously are at many weddings, told us at the end of the night that the John Parker Band was the best band they had ever heard. John Parker and his band (Dreamscape) provided both excellent service and communication from the time we hired them throughout the wedding. John went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect and everything we wanted. From the moment the band arrived on our wedding day they were very attentive to our needs and asks. They not only started the party and got everyone on the dance floor, but kept the party going all night and were by far the best decision out of all of our vendors. Even a month after our wedding we are still getting compliments on the band on how much everyone liked them. We cannot say thank you enough for making our day so special!

We used John Parker Band for our wedding in Pittsburgh in June 2019 and they were absolutely amazing!! John made us feel at ease by talking through the timeline leading up to the wedding and did a perfect job as MC — fun, professional, and classy. He gave us some very helpful recommendations along the way while listening to what we wanted. They played the music we liked, read the crowd well to keep everyone dancing, and had everyone having fun the whole night! We continue to get compliments from our guests. We recently had Dreamscape perform at my daughter’s wedding reception at Phipps. They were fantastic! They performed during dinner with an appropriate selection of music. Once the dancing started it did not stop. The selection was excellent. All the performances were crisp and well done. The music just kept coming all night. We wish that they could have kept playing all night.
Their rendition of “Lullabye” from Billy Joel for the Father-Daughter dance touched my heart.
I would highly recommend them!
p.s. their version of “Shut and Dance with Me” is better than the original.

We had such a great experience with Dreamscape, one of the John Parker Bands. John Parker was very responsive to our questions from the beginning and helped us decide exactly which band would be best for our event. Our guests absolutely loved the energy and had so much fun throughout the night - we even extended the band an extra half hour to keep the dancing going! The band sounded incredible - there were points during the dinner when they were singing so well it sounded like a recording. During the dancing, they brought such a fun energy and kept the event moving at a great pace. They didn't completely follow our requested list, but hit the key songs and made selections that kept our guests filling the dance floor.

We had Dreamscape play at our wedding at the LeMont on 10/27/18 and they we unbelievable! We oringially had a 7 piece band with 3 singers and they absolutely killed it! From the start they were extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Their online planner single handedly helped me plan our wedding and made everything so easy! We did not have a lot of music requests and trusted the band to play a mix of music that got our guests up and dancing and they did exactly that. Tammi, the band leader spoke with us on the phone the week of our wedding to get a feel for what we wanted and we instantly clicked and she knew exactly what we were looking for. Tammi kept the reception moving and on time from the introductions to speeches, to the cake cutting, to the last dance. They even made announcements for the arrival and departure of the transportation. They took only one break while dinner was being served, but played pre-selected music to keep everything flowing. When dinner was over and it was time to get the party started they made sure that happened. It was unreal how good they were. There were times they were singing that I thought a cd was playing that's how good they were and I'd look over and it was Tammi or one of the other singers belting out the tunes. They were so, so good! There were times where Tammi would be singing amongst the crowd of dancing guests. We really could not have asked for a better more perfect band for our wedding. Everyone had such an amazing time thanks in large part to Dreamscape who kept party going, the excitement up, and the music playing!

We are so thankful we chose John Parker Band for our wedding reception entertainment and John as an announcer. The band truly WOWED the crowd. We received an unreal amount of compliments. My sister in laws both said that my father in law did not dance at either of their weddings, but the music John and band preformed had him moving his feet on the dance floor! John has a sense of knowing exactly the songs the guests are vibing to and chooses the best music to keep up the momentum. We had City Heat play at our September 2, 2018 wedding and they were amazing! The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone raved about how good the music was. The band was wonderful to work with from start to finish. They brought such an amazing energy to the night and just created a really fun and upbeat atmosphere and everyone was sad when the party had to end. I absolutely loved working with John Parker and his band. He was super responsive to emails, easy to talk to on the phone, and very, very good at his job. The band even learned a new song for my husband and my first dance, which was terrific. On the day of, his acoustic guitarist played at our cocktail hour and everyone loved it. During the rest of the evening, he and his band sounded amazing and kept the dance floor lively. They brought their own lights, which gave the space around the band a fun feel. They were wonderful! JPBand was honestly the highlight of our wedding. The guests didn't leave the dance floor, couldn't stop talking about their talent and kept asking if they would travel to different states for upcoming weddings. I HIGHLY recommend John and his band. Not only did he do an amazing job with the music selection but he also was a great MC (kept the reception moving, upbeat and a ton of fun). Prior to the wedding John and I went through the entire reception- he gave advice, recommendations, went over pronunciation of everyone's names and gave me so much peace of mind that I left the conversation knowing that the reception would be amazing and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I couldn't have asked for a better band for the best night of our lives!!!

We couldn't have been happier with the JPBand. They created such a fun and entertaining atmosphere. When people were commenting to us about the wedding one of the first things they said was, "That band was unbelievable!!" We heard it over and over again. On a gut instinct (we had never heard of them before, just their online information) my now husband and I chose John Parker and in particular the DREAMSCAPE band for our New Year's Eve wedding celebration. Our instincts were spot on! They absolutely nailed it. John and his staff were fantastic to work with, made it easy for us. Their website helped immensely with our planning and we wanted everyone on the dance floor, all night. That's what we got. They have an uncanny sense of what to play and when. We were beyond blessed to be serenaded with the PRAYER and you would have thought Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion were in the room, we were so touched and everyone was mesmerized. Our guests are still talking about how great they were and how much fun they added to the evening. There was not a better way to ring in the new year than with Tammi Dahl and the rest of the band. We made friends for life and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our day so special! We need to give them 10 stars!

John Parker & City Heat were absolutely great to work with! They learned two songs for my wedding and nailed them! They were in constant contact with me leading up to the wedding. John called me prior to the wedding while he was on vacation to run over a few details / logistics. City Heat was such a great fit for our reception! They made the reception! They made sure that their was no lagging, walked around the tables during the meal singing / playing, and made the reception a party! Extremely professional and an absolute blast. I would recommend them to anyone.
