On the actual wedding day he was very upbeat, energetic and engaging which is nice to have around on a day that can be stressful and involves a lot of people. All of the photos turned out so well and we received so many compliments on them (especially the sunset pics) after we sent out our Thank You notes, which John also designed. 2022! John was a breath of fresh air! Laid back. Warm. Kind. Direct. We got our pictures back quickly and have loved creating our album, wedding art and thank you cards with them. He captured our big day (at last after 4 reschedules!) and the pictures are full of joy, love and laughter. Thank you, John!

He is extremely fun, outgoing, and easy to work with. He made every feel comfortable, would joke with us (he is on his game with movie quotes haha), and make sure every detail of the photos were perfect! We wanted a simple but unique take on our photos and that’s exactly what we received. He is a true professional as well as his assistant, Jenn. They are a great team! They coordinated with the venue, the DJ, and out bridal party to make sure we were stress free. They even went above and beyond during the wedding and took on other tasks outside of their profession to help our day go smoothly and perfectly! We are so grateful that we booked JOHN RICHMOND PHOTOGRAPHY for our wedding. Simply put... professional, fun, friendly, and affordable! His partner Hannah helped him shoot my wedding and she was amazing as well! She even helped me carry around my dress while we were taking pictures outside so it would not get dirty! ntley we did not get that. We also paid for 2 photographers and I felt like the second photographer was a complete waste of money. We told Teresa in the beginning that we like candid shots that no one is posing for. Well the only pics like that are from the dance floor. At the reception that are no pics of family if they were not dancing. I feel like SO many more different photos could have been taken. Teresa and the other photographer were nice but you could tell they did not have to much experience. Also, dont expect your wedding album to arrive until 6 months after your wedding! After we picked our album we were told 3-5 weeks...well 3 months later we finally recieved our album. In addition John is not very accomodating. After waiting all this time you will most likely have to drive to his house to pick up the album. Overall I was disapointed in the service, follow up and creativity of pictures. John and his staff are nice it just seems like he is preoccupied with other things then a successful photography business.

The day of the wedding, the entire wedding party had a blast during the pictures. John was very engaging and did a great job of staying fun, but professional throughout the wedding. And at the end of it all, the photos turned out amazing! We really couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer!
