We started with getting manicures & pedicures with the whole bridal party on Friday before the wedding. The quality of the service was incredible - my gel manicure lasted over 3 weeks without chipping! They had a huge selection of colors and they were so accommodating to all of the bridesmaids. The salon was even able to accommodate some last minute eyebrow waxes for a few of the girls.
We returned on Saturday morning for hair and makeup. Since we were on a strict time schedule, this was hands down the most effective way to get everyone beautified! John Roberts had all hands on deck that morning, and everyone was done ahead of schedule (and looked great). I was particularly pleased with how I looked on my wedding day - Monica did an absolutely fantastic job on my airbrush makeup! It looked natural and lasted all day long on the humid, summer day. Dani did an awesome job on my hair as well - I had a full up-do and it didn't fall out all night! I was beyond impressed (and so happy I didn't have to re-pin things all evening).
If you're looking for an efficient, and cost effective hair & makeup spot, I highly recommend visiting John Roberts (just be prepared for some potentially slow communication in getting things set up).

sure to make me feel relaxed and comfortable. Snacks and beverages were provided for myself and wedding party and each girl received great service. I was a little disappointed that after the makeup trial specific things were not written down as they said they would be so that the morning of my wedding somethings were done that I did not want and it seemed the stylist was unsure herself. Also, my mother showed a picture of her one-sided dress so that her hair would be on the opposite side and it was done incorrectly - it still looked gorgeous none-the-less. This was a wonderful experience and additional help was given to a bridesmaid who at the last minute needed help with makeup. Lastly, the ability for me to pay for everything a little at a time throughout the year helped with financial planning. I could not have been happier with how my hair, nails and makeup turned out for my wedding day and the support from the entire staff there! The quality is worth the cost.

3 hours with me and when I came back the day of the wedding she remembered that I like Starbucks and got me a coffee. All of my bridesmaids and my mother loved their hair and make up. s were out of there by 10am (as promised!). Each attendant loved their hair (they got to have different styles), and they were able to work with both my mother and mother-in-law who did not know what they wanted for the day.
On the day of the wedding, they provided us with pastries, fruit and orange juice to enjoy for our pampering. The staff was friendly and professional.
My trial run went just fine - and I came into the salon on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (one of their busiest times). The staff took their time listening to what I wanted, and I felt confident with my hair and makeup plan for the day of the wedding.
I'd recommend them to anyone! I took my mother there two days before the wedding for a mani/pedi, and we had a great time. My nail polish didn't chip at all and the staff was so nice. I'm even going to start going there for haircuts. Even though it's a little expensive, I love this place!

tanding. Lydia did my hair and make up, and it was wonderful. A friend called Lydia's work "the best make up I've ever had," and I would agree. Everyone's hair looked outstanding, and the salon provided a light breakfast for us too. I would definitely recommend John Roberts Solon, but bring your patience for the scheduling process. It all worked out in the end, but I was worried for awhile that we wouldn't all get the services we needed.
I was looking for a place that could do my hair and make-up. I elected to do something totally different from my natural look and opted for a 1/2 up 1/2 hair style with extensions...
. Although the extensions were expensive I'm so happy I made the purchase. They are real human hair which my stylist then colored/high-lighted to match my hair (nobody knew they were extensions unless I told them). John Roberts has a wedding package that includes your trial hair and make-up and hair/make-up on the wedding day for $150 (does not include tip). On the day of my wedding they had bagels, fruit and sparkling cider (they were willing to provide champagne but I declined). My stylist took my vision from a photo and made it real and my hair held up all on my wedding day and I still could wear my style the day after. Between our wedding and reception we took pictures outdoors and it was very windy - my hair held up great! My stylist was Jay and make-up artist was Denise. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
