John Shapiro went above and beyond as our wedding photographer. John was on time and extremely flexible on our big day. We first worked with John for our engagement photos. He gave us great ideas for pictures and really made us comfortable so we were able to come out of our shells. He took his time and made us feel important. On our wedding day, John again made us feel like we were the center of the universe. He captured moments we didn't even think of capturing and had very creative ideas for us. John was on time every step of the way and didn't miss a thing! John also has a very brilliant way of taking your photo when you don't even realize it. You can enjoy your night fully and rest assured that your big day is being captured. The albums, thank yous and photographs we received were perfect. The quality of the end-product was immaculate, creative and all around wonderful. We were able to receive everything quickly after our wedding and enjoy reliving our day through the photos. John photographed not only our wedding in 2012, but also our engagement photos in 2011 and our maternity photos in 2014. He is definitely one of the best and his photos are amazing. We were very happy with each one of them. He has a wonderful personality that makes you feel at ease which creates priceless photos. I can't say enough about his customer service. I can’t say enough good things about John. He’s brilliant, talented, professional, and worth every cent. John has an amazing ability to get along with everybody. He’s full of energy and is so generous with his time. At our engagement session, he was happy to keep shooting for as long as we had the energy to keep smiling! I love him for his attention to detail. He works wonders in whatever setting he’s given - finding all the most picturesque flowers, trees, archways, or positioning our silhouettes against the sun. Our engagement party was the very next weekend, and John was able to get a few images to me by email so that I could print and display them! Leading up to our wedding day, John helped us with our timeline to make sure the day flowed smoothly. He was always very responsive and got back to me quickly with answers to my questions. On our wedding day, John again went above and beyond by showing up early to scout our picture location. He checked the ground for me because it had rained the day before and he didn't want my shoes or dress to get muddy. So considerate! John’s partner Dave was equally awesome to work with. He ended up hooking my dress closed at the top because we couldn't figure it out! Once John and Dave showed up, it seemed the day really began and it was absolutely perfect in no small part due to their being 100% on top of every detail. They guided us through our timeline while we got to enjoy our day stress-free! We were on time for everything, if not early. He set up our first look beautifully and captured some priceless pictures. Our wedding party pictures were a blast! And all the while John was making sure we always had the perfect lighting for each shot. During the ceremony, John and Dave captured many precious moments and I never once noticed their presence. Afterwards, John ran through our formal portraits lightning fast so that we were actually able to enjoy some of our own cocktail hour! I was absolutely amazed at how beautifully the reception pictures came out even though the venue keeps the room pretty dark. I didn't think he’d be able to get such high-quality, detailed pictures in that lighting. The very next day, John posted a group of pictures from the wedding to his facebook page. It was amazing getting to share it with all our friends. John posted our completed wedding gallery to his website 18 days after the wedding. No one else I know got to see their pictures so soon!! It was absolutely amazing getting to relive the day with all the memories so fresh in our minds. His albums are incredible as well. Again, his attention to detail really shines. He doesn't settle for anything less than the best. Everyone comments that they've never seen such crisp, clear pictures as the ones in our wedding album. His talent, hard work, and dedication are amazing. We are so grateful. He has a fantastic eye for the perfect lighting and framing of a shot. And he really won’t take it until it’s perfect! He’s creative and fun to work with. John really cares about exceeding all of your expectations. A great team of vendors is so important to putting on a great wedding. He’s truly one of the best!!

John Shapiro is an outstanding photographer and extremely professional to work with. My husband and I just recently got married this past August and hired John as our photographer. He captured every right moment in every right way. John worked his butt of the entire day from start to finish. He made sure he captured every special moment for us! As we continue to look at the photos he did for us, it makes us want to do it all over again! John was professional, fun and kept the entire day super organized. He's amazing!

After my husband and I met with John, we knew he was our guy. He gave us such great insight to our day and knew the ins and outs better than anyone we talked to. John always answered my million questions quickly and with detail. John helped us with our timeline for the day, and as you know that's huge. Before the wedding he was so organized in all paperwork and questions hd had to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted and everything was planned correctly. John helped to eliminate so much stress. Wedding day came, and John was there early and went straight to work. He has a friendly attitude, and got down to taking some amazing shots. His creativity is amazing. Throughout the entire day he never stopped. He was all over the place, capturing moments that's I didn't even think of. There is no doubt John worked the hardest on our wedding. Even our guests commented how he was amazing at the wedding, without seeing the pictures. The pictures came out better than we could imagine. We are beyond thrilled with our pictures and album. The pictures were amazing and our album is seriously incredible. Everyone that sees the album is in awe of how beautiful it came out. So many of my guests got his information to use him after seeing his work. That's how I got his name too! John could not have captured my wedding day any better! He took the time to meet face to face to create the perfect package for us, and was super flexible throughout the entire planning process. On the day of he did everything we discussed and then some! His ability to capture a moment is amazing and he was very creative in both candid moments as well as posed pictures. I wound up upgrading to a larger album because everything was so beautiful. I also ordered thank you cards which everyone complimented over and over..they were a hit! I would not hesitate to recommend John, my husband and I were grateful to have him!

Enough can't be said about John Shapiro Photography. He's amazing, very down to earth. Really understood what I wanted and what I was hoping to capture on my wedding day. Met him twice at bridal shows and he remembered me! Very personable. Really tried to make you feel like you're his most important client. Definitely would recommend him to anyone who's looking outside of the big company photographers. He's amazing.
