We recently completed our engagement photoshoot with John; he was prompt and professional. John had some very helpful posing tips and his friendly demeanor helped to put us at ease. The turnaround time for receiving our photos was amazingly fast! My fiancé and I are looking forward to working with John and his team again for our wedding. We highly recommend John Soule Photography.

I had to unfortunately fire my first photographer because we just was not happy with his work after our first shoot, I had to search for a new photographer , I came across John on multiple wedding sites and his reviews were all amazing. I immediately contacted him and he reached out immediately and set up a zoom call to discuss our needs and go over his portfolio, we fell in love with his style and we got a good feeling about him, he made us feel very comfortable. After our first shoot, we saw our pictures and it confirmed we made the best choice in choosing him for our wedding day. His pictures made me excited about our wedding again. Having someone who can capture our memories is very important to us and we know we are in great hands.

If I could give 10 stars I would, John Soule Photography is exceptional in every way! The responsiveness to emails and calls, the professionalism from John Soule and his team of photographers but especially the quality of their work. I can't say enough good things about this company. John and Berni were fun to work with, they gave pointers on how to capture the best poses, the engagement pictures all turned out great. Looking forward to working with them again at the wedding.

Great photography and videography team. Very reasonable prices and great results. John was very responsive throughout the entire process whenever I had questions. The team captured our day beautifully. Dawn made great use of our bridal prep area for photos.

We were SO grateful to John and his team for capturing our perfectly imperfect day so beautifully. We were absolutely thrilled with the result and they helped us make our day run smoothly. The photos are out of this world! I especially enjoyed having one of his female leads with me during the preparation part of the day. I would absolutely recommend John and his team!

John has been amazing from the beginning when I reached out to him months before our engagement shoot. He has continued to be very responsive and spent time to put together a list of top venues to take pictures in, as well as provided me with information about the area I was proposing. Both John and Berni made the actual photo shoot an amazing experience and took the time to make sure my fiancée and I were comfortable and informed of the different poses we could choose from. The photos were incredible and I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with the quality of the pictures and with how fast they were provided. I 100% recommend this team!

We had the pleasure of working with John Soule and team for our wedding day and everything went absolutely wonderful! We chose to use both photography and videography services and had a full team of 3 photographers and 2 videographers for our day which we know were able to capture every moment and every angle possible. John even came to our rehearsal day to help scope out some possible photos for our wedding day and gave us some pointers on how to pose, dip, and overall what to expect. The wedding day itself went so smoothly, they arrived while we were getting ready in the morning to get some get ready shots. In the meantime, they were also taking close up shots of our rings, dress, and details so it didn't add any extra time. Dawn rode in the limo with us to the church to get some silly pics/videos of just the bridal party. We also had a first touch/first look before the ceremony. The ceremony went perfectly and Dawn rode again with just the bride and groom to get some shots in the limo, which we can't wait to see! At our reception, we got some more pics, and even one big group shot from a ladder which in turn got everyone on the dance floor. We had such a wonderful experience with this team and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants exceptional service for their special day. We already received a couple of sneak peeks of our wedding which look absolutely stunning! We were in great hands with John Soule and team and were so lucky to have found them on The Knot!

John and his team were great to work with. During the initial intro conversation John walked us through the full process and answered all our questions. We liked that an engagement shoot was included in the package as it allowed us to get some experience ahead of the wedding day. The team was enjoyable to work with on the day off and accommodated our requested shots and when we were ready to move on from the posed photos. Throughout the entire process, John was very responsive at answering my questions via email. I would highly recommend working with them.

I highly recommend John Soule Photography for any event you may have! John was responsive to all communications, easy to coordinate logistics, and identify desired requirements for our wedding event. John and Berni took many photos, with attention to details in posing, arranging dress, centering people, placement of arms, etc. He and Berni were organized, patient with gathering our various guest groupings, very respectful and professional in the religious setting. The quality of the results was excellent, we were very happy with our photos.

John and his assistant were fantastic! My fiance and I had just moved back to Baltimore area and were looking to get engagement photos in the city. He gave great instructions for how to pose and took overall beautiful photos. We left feeling like we had fun and learned something about how to pose better for photos, which we are sure will be helpful for our actual wedding. John was also able to flexibly work around a few "hiccups" that were out of all of our control, e.g., none of us knew that there would be a marathon happening the morning of our photos, haha! But he was able to help figure it out nonetheless and we are very, very pleased with the photo results. We are super excited to share them with family for the holidays. We would definitely recommend him to others for engagements, weddings, etc!

My fiancé and I couldn’t be more happy with John and his team! They were very honest, very easy to work with and just overall fun! My fiancé and I haven’t gotten out photos personally done in YEARS. Our experience with John and Bernie was nothing short of amazing! We've only had our engagement session done, but we 100% know, without a doubt, that he will deliver the best photographs at our megamony next year. He is very easy to work with, and is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He came prepared with a list of excellent poses for us, and his ideas and editing were breathtaking. The second best part, is he will fit well within the budget. We are getting 3 photographers for the price of 2! We are very pleased with our engagement photos and look forward to working with him and his staff at our megamony. Update 04Oct2022: Our wedding weekend has come and gone, and as we expected, John's team delivered! The weather was not what we were hoping for, unfortunately a hurricane came up the coast and sent lots of wind and rain our way in Annapolis, MD. However, John's team was very accommodating with all the last minute changes we had to do since outside pictures were no longer an option. Even when I forgot to mention to John a change in plan of where the groom would be to start, he was able to quickly get everything back on track. His team also made sure to get all the shots on the list I sent over before the wedding, even though I anticipated not having time for everything. They even threw in a lot of suggestions that are going to turn out amazing and I cannot wait to get the full package. We even forgot about one thing, and if it hadn't been on our list, we would have missed it. Thank you John, Bernie, and Dawn for an amazing night and capturing each moment!

John and Berni (his assistant) were great. We had a video meet and greet and John explained everything about his photography and what to expect. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot three times due to weather but this was done without an hassle at all. The evening of the shoot, we met downtown Baltimore. It was very relaxed and fun, John and Berni were professional and put us at ease immediately. The photographs are outstanding and we cannot wait to see how our wedding photographs will turn out.

John and his team are GREAT! Engagement photos were included in the package we selected which was a good opportunity to meet and get a feel for each other. We had a great time. We also had some family portraits taken which gave our bridal party an opportunity to work with John and his team prior to the wedding. During our wedding, they were with us every step of the way to the very end of the night. My wedding was 9/4 and I received proofs for review 9/9. Mr. Soule has been very responsive, informative and professional. I highly recommend him and his team.

John Soule Photography did such an amazing job! My husband and I don’t take a lot of pictures of ourselves so we were kind of worried how they would turn out. But they blew it out of the water from the second we met them till they left. (They gave us pointers to smile the whole time and how to pose.) We are amazed how well the pictures turned out. They captured every moment so perfectly. We highly recommend them. I would also like to add that we got all our pictures back in 4 days which was really nice. We had such a lovely experience working with John and Berni. They exceeded our expectations with our engagement photos and wedding photos. When the pandemic hit they were extremely accommodating, patient and professional, they even gifted my kids with toys which they loved. We did a lot of research on different photographers and landed on John Soule photography. As someone who is not a picture taker, I was hesitant heading into my engagement shoot. With that said, the shoot went incredibly smooth. John was clearly knowledgeable and an expert in the field of photography. He made me and my fiancé fully comfortable during the engagement session. John and his team were a joy to work with before, during and after our wedding. John made getting ready so easy - he helped coordinate a timeline, gave instructions for us and our bridal party on how to pose, and helped us put together a shot list for our family photos. He thought of things that I wouldn't have thought of. His team took SO many beautiful shots that it's incredibly difficult to choose our favorites for posting and printing. He was also so nice and accommodating in fitting things in we requested. He and his team were also just so fun to be around - they matched our vibe (including our groomsmen's silly photo requests), making for perfect photos that really fit who we are. I'm so thankful we found him, as I wasn't worried about photos at ALL on our wedding day. I knew everything would go swimmingly, and it did. My husband and I strongly recommend him! We look forward to going back to him the next time we're looking to photograph a big life event.

We started working with John Soule prior to the pandemic. We had to postpone our wedding, and when we were able to have it, we still had many restrictions in place. John and the team were wonderful with helping us to transition to a new date, drafting up a new timeline, and working within the restrictions we had. In particular, the best man needed to strictly social distance, and John did a great job creatively getting him in pictures with the other guys, even with him being 6 feet apart. They were very well prepared, and even came to our rehearsal to scout out the venue before hand and give the bridal party a few tips! They also helped us develop a shot list so that we didn't forget anything on the day of. With three shooters, John's team was able to get every moment (including when the bride ran and jumped into my arms during our first dance). They also got photos back to us so quickly! We even got a few teaser photos late the evening of the wedding as well as the next morning! We highly recommend John Soule if you are looking for a photographer for your event.

This photography team is absolutely AMAZING! From the quick responses, suggestions, help with timelines and sneak peak photos sent sometimes within hours after being taken! John Soule and staff are the nicest people to work with. Their choreography was unmatched with their attention to details, by taking everything into consideration to capture the most special and fleeting moments without interfering. Prior to our initial meeting, John researched the venue locations to observe the natural elements and visualize how they would play on the big day. The team joined the bridal party at the venue the night before to get a feel for the space and prepare and plan for what was expected. They worked flawlessly within the schedule, and managed the bride's extensive list of shots with ease. John's technical knowledge of the art was adapted to capture the joy filled moments of a very personal event. We look forward to working with John again for special family occasions!

John was an absolute pleasure to work with (and the two ladies he brought with him) for my wedding! He stayed in contact with me right from the start and emailed me all the way up until my wedding day. We had a meet up at my wedding location where he came very prepared with pictures of the venue he had taken the day before of sites we should take pictures at on our big day. He also created a timeline of exactly what pictures should be taken and roughly how long it would take (walking from ceremony to bridge, etc.). John was very attentive and I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture my big day! Thank you John for your beautiful pictures! A year later and we are just now picking out which ones we like the best!

They were EXTREMELY professional. They took photos I never thought of and got pics of family we hadn't seen for several years. We got samples the same night to which were extremely pleased. They captured a side of us that was unforgettable. Moreover, they caught - what turned out - the last photos of my husband's cousin who passed away soon after the wedding. Both my husband and I were and are very pleased.
