Selecting John as our wedding photographer was one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding. He made us feel comfortable and all around great to work with on our wedding day. He handled every situation with ease and delivered stunning photos which we will always cherish.

John and his 2nd photographer were very knowledgable about weddings in general, they had a plan for everything and rolled easily with so of the last minute unexpected changes we had to make. Both were extremely friendly and made our family and guests feel comfortable and really added to the enjoyment of our day. They were simply a pleasure to be around. They took an incredible amount of amazing, emotion-filled photographs while not demanding a lot of time out of our day. Also towards the end of the night, he pulled us outside for a quick night shot. It only took two minutes, but it's honestly one of our favorite photos, and it's going on a canvas over our fireplace!

We don't typically like having our picture taken. However, John and his assistant made us very comfortable and posing us for our photos seemed very natural and easy. John's photos captured a lot of emotion, with my husband and I and our family and guests! His portraits and detail shots were very artistic and thoughtful. He took great care to make sure everything was covered and also pulled us aside briefly in the evening for a beautiful night shot. John photographed my sister's wedding this summer. His work was good - the photos are nice and captured a lot of the day, but they aren't particularly beautiful or artistic. We found his working style to be a bit awkward and slow, and then he didn't seem to even take that many shots once he got everything set up for a particular pose. He was very kind and friendly and very present at the reception which we loved, but we didn't get the sense that he listened that carefully to what we were after in the moment.

John is ABSOLUTELY the photographer you want. He made himself very accessible over the phone and email, and he was very prompt with responses. He has so much experience which calmed my wedding planning angst immensely. His calm professionalism and direction during the actual wedding day helped everything run smoothly, and the final product photos left us with stunning memories. HIGHLY recommend.

We went with the "one and done" mentality for choosing all of our wedding vendors, which ended up working out pretty well! John had great communication up to wedding and after, answering emails within hours. We received over 1000 photos from him before the 4 week anticipated waiting period. We got some great shots and he took some videos for us of key moments like toasts, ceremony, and some dances. His price point is very reasonable considering other photography packages I looked at. My only critique is that John seemed a bit shy and did not give us as much guidance on poses as I felt I needed. I wish we would have gotten some more unique shots and variation between groomsmen and bridesmaid photos. Overall he did a great job and met my expectations.

John was absolutely great to work with and we were lucky to get him! We had no idea what we were looking for in photos & styles, but we knew that we liked his, and John was really good about communicating and helping us put together what we wanted. He was very respectful during the wedding Mass (something that was very important to us as Catholics) and had enough experience that he knew to discuss with the priest where he could and couldn't be for photos. Due to some scheduling issues at our church, we didn't have much time for photos (maybe an hour and a half before the wedding and 45 minutes after), but he made it work and had a list of what to do when. We were able to finish pictures outside, but everything that needed to be done in the church was taken care of thoroughly. Speaking of outside, John was phenomenal about scouting out spots that he thought would take good photos; at one point in the evening, he pulled us out of the reception briefly to take some photos under a purple flowering tree - these turned out to be some of our favourite photos from the entire evening. John got many great candids of our guests, and was always just a wave away if we wanted him to grab a photo of us with a specific guest. John was excellent at going a step above & beyond throughout the evening, and we recommend him without reservation.

John was fantastic to work with. He was ALWAYS there to capture the moment every time you turned around. I felt like I was all over the place with pictures, dinner, dancing, etc. and he was always there with us. We never had to worry about the photographer missing anything. John and his assistant photographed my best friend's wedding three years ago. They were both genuinely friendly, calm and had a plan for absolutely everything. This year we hired John to photograph our wedding and they knocked it out of the park! Our wedding was vastly different in style and logistics, but and his assistant really took the time to collaborate with my wedding planner, videographer, pastor, and very involved mothers to help the whole day go flawlessly. We ended up with about a thousand incredible photos that really captured our whole wedding day beautifully.
