John Wiggins - FlipSide DJs

John was a hit at our wedding! His professionalism made all the logistics go off without a hitch and you can tell he truly loves his job! He got the crowd going and listened to all our requests and do not play requests. I also had specifics of timing for transitions during the ceremony and was super impressed with how John made it all seem so easy! He met with our officiant as well to help with logistics and even did his own research on our venue. You won't be disappointed with John!

Truly don't understand all of the good reviews. John DJed our wedding and so much went wrong and we were so disappointed that he was recommended to us by our venue. He ignored so much of what we told him about our style of songs and the different things that we wanted. He was very into his own ego and "I've been doing this for X amount of years, I know what I'm doing" vs. listening to us and what we wanted for our guests. He was on the microphone all night--not sure why he even needed a microphone during the reception--and it gave the entire reception such a cheap and cheesey feel. He had dumb commentary the entire night and just made all of the guests cringe.

John DJ’d our wedding on August 17th and I can’t say how thankful and appreciative we are! He was on top of every little detail that made our day so special. He had people dancing all night on the dance floor, even our uncle who never dances! He was so helpful when it came to picking and choosing music for the ceremony and the reception. He allowed us to pick and choose whatever we wanted to play at the reception and took requests from us and the other people at the wedding. It was fabulous. When it came to communicating before the wedding, I couldn’t have expected anything better. He sent emails to check in. Phone calls to square away details before the big day. On top of it all, he was perfectly affordable. I highly recommend John for any event!

John was the perfect dj for our crowd. He kept the party going all night and when some things had to get changed around because of time he went completely with the flow. He knows how to keep the party energetic and fun.

I don't think I would change a single thing about my wedding day. This definitely includes the DJ service we received with Flipside DJ's. The dance floor was constantly busy, the songs were on point, and there was a perfect amount of slow/fast paced songs. Would highly recommend this DJ to everyone!

We used John as our DJ at our wedding and we are 100% blown away at his amazing talent! He had the dance floor packed the entire night! He knew exactly what music to play at the exact time and did not disappoint. Every single guest raved about how wonderful he was. I would pick John over again in a heartbeat. We have had john DJ both mine and my sisters wedding, 10 years apart, and we highly recommend him! He is fun, professional, and very knowledgable about his career! Dj John was the best dj we could have asked for!! From the very first phone call to the very end he accommodated everything we asked! All of our guests were beyond thrilled with his music and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night long, including me and my new husband!! John helped the evening flow so smooth and we didn’t have to lift a finger or tell him anything all night! he even followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure he covered everything and once again congratulate us! DJ John is fantastic! We didn't have many special requests (our first dance song was a lesser-known one, and we wanted some older Jazz for dinner), so we told him to just do his thing and everything was wonderful! He not only played the perfect music for dinner and dancing, but he was extremely organized and timed all of our special moments well. He is a real pro, and we felt completely free to enjoy our reception without having to manage our time for ourselves. My husband and I hired John at the recommendation of our Venue (Veltre's) and we were not disappointed! John was incredible to work with, he listened to the types of songs we requested, took into account the demographic of our guests, and really kept the party going. We had some seriously tricky names in our wedding party and he took the extra time to confirm with us in the days leading up to and the day of our wedding to make sure that he got those names correct, and he nailed them. The guests from our wedding had nothing but great compliments about him and how he kept the life of the party going even for our small wedding. Many many thanks to John for his fun personality and absolute professionalism. We highly recommend him for your next event.

DJ John was amazing. We got Married on May 27. super flexible with that we needed. My guests had an amazing time, they couldn't stop talking about the reception and how much fun they had. He kept the music going, I gave him a small list of songs and had him take care of the rest. If anyone I know gets married and needs a DJ, I would send them DJ Johns way!

DJ John was the best!!!! We received SO many compliments on DJ John and guests are already asking for his contact info. He was extremely easy to work with from the very beginning and helped to make the wedding planning process a bit easier! He is beyond professional in every aspect and knows exactly what he's doing and how to get a crowd started and stay lively from start to end! I cannot say enough awesome things about DJ John and HIGHLY recommend him!!!!! He made our wedding the most perfect celebration and worked extremely hard to do so!!!!

DJ John was awesome! He made sure our reception had a perfect flow from beginning to end. The music was great and the dance floor was packed all night. He is the best DJ I have seen out of any wedding I have attended! I am so glad we booked him for our reception!

Our guests are still complimenting us on having such an amazing DJ at our wedding. He read the crowd PERFECTLY and kept his promise that our guests would be dancing all night long. His playlist was incredible, and his personality was even better! John made it so easy to plan the music for our evening. We had a huge variety of guests at our wedding, and he was able to keep that dance floor packed! He responded to our questions/concerns within a day, most times within a few minutes, which as a bride was very reassuring! We only had a few songs for our play/do not play list, and to be honest, we didn't need to send a list at all! He really takes time to work with you from day one and figure out who your guests are to make sure it's perfect. John genuinely cared about my Husband and I and reassured us every step of the way that it would be amazing. And it was! By far the BEST DJ we have ever experienced and we secretly hope to see him at future weddings because he was such an amazing DJ. A true entertainer that really made our night so perfect. 5 Stars all the way. Highly recommend John Wiggins!

DJ John was an incredible addition to our wedding reception. He was a fantastic listener prior to the wedding and took all of our ideas and suggestions for music very seriously. Everything music-related that we requested to occur throughout the night happened flawlessly. His music kept the energy level at our reception high all night which kept all of our guests having a blast on dance floor! We received so many compliments on our music! He also added just the right amount of enthusiasm behind the microphone that kept our guests engaged and excited all night! Music at the reception was one of our biggest priorities when planning our wedding and we would never go back and do it differently. If you want to have a fun-filled night that meets all of your expectations, I would definitely go with DJ John. He's the best!

DJ John is absolutely fabulous!! He was the DJ at my cousin's wedding last year, and I was just about to become engaged. I literally danced all night, which never happens for me at weddings! He kept playing songs that made people want to get on the dance floor, which was packed all night. After the wedding, I asked for his information because I absolutely had to book him. The exact same happened at my wedding! He was so easy to work with in our preparations, and incredibly detailed. He made sure of correct name pronunciation, and had our bridal party line up in the correct order as well. I'm extremely picky, and he did an incredible job introducing everyone. The music he played the entire night- cocktail hour included- was just so tasteful. I had a very traditional country club wedding, and the music fit the venue. The noise level of the music was actually perfect- not too loud, but just loud enough. I would HIGHLY recommend DJ John to all brides looking to have a fantastic time at their wedding! He totally nailed it with all of our music and made for such a memorable time. Thank you John!!

We got married May 7th 2016 and we choose to go with DJ John because he was local. Little did we know, he was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!! John was very easy to work with and accommodating. From the wonderful up lighting, to pleasing my guests, he got the party started. I was even pleased that he pronounced everyone's name correctly in the wedding party! If your looking for a DJ service for your wedding, I HIGHLY recommend DJ John!!!

We hired DJ John for our wedding in February and we were not disappointed. We were able to meet up with him before we even hired him to discuss our hopes and expectations for our reception. He did an excellent job of putting together a playlist that fit the tone we wanted for our party. He also did an excellent job as the emcee for the night, managing to be very professional while also putting people at ease and encouraging the crowd to have energy. He was very reasonable for pricing and provided all of his own state-of-the-art equipment, and he set it up hassle free exactly where we wanted him to. The thing that made him so helpful was his communication that was, quite honestly, incredible. He kept in contact and responded to any questions or concerns we had without delay. We used DJ John for our wedding on 9/5/15 at Indiana Country Club in Indiana Pa. He was fantastic! The equipment he had was top notch and very professional. He was very easy to work with and played all our favorites. He kept things rolling, was energetic and had a good mix of music for young and old. After the wedding I heard nothing but good things about the music selection. He made it as stress free as possible and right before the wedding, it was greatly appreciated. We also used him for up lighting during the reception and left the color up to him and it was perfect. I would highly recommend DJ John for any ocasion, especially a wedding.

DJ John could have kept our reception going all night long! He played many different types of music so all guests had sometime to enjoy. He listened to our ideas to incorporate special songs into the reception.

John Wiggins made the wedding spectacular! I just got married on June 6, 2015 and it was amazing. John had such a great mix of music for both young and old. Everyone was on the dance floor. Flipside DJ was fantastic! He played all of the songs we wanted and we so easy to work with. Everyone at our wedding danced all night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

John was the DJ for our wedding this past September, and he is absolutely fantastic. John is very friendly and personable and took the time to get to know our taste in music and what we wanted for our wedding. My biggest fear was that people wouldn’t dance at the reception, but thanks to John, we had a crowded dance floor literally the entire night. John was able to read the crowd and knew exactly what to play to get people moving. If you want to guarantee a fun night that people will remember, do yourself a favor and hire John Wiggins. You will not be disappointed.

We found John at a friend's wedding and thought he was so great that we booked him for our reception on 10/18/14. He was simply amazing! John played a great mix of music that kept guests from ages 21-74 dancing the night away. Our guests are still raving about how fantastic our DJ was and keep asking where we found him. We picked DJ John for our August 30 wedding. He was the only DJ out of about 5 that I emailed or filled out information on the Web sites to request prices etc. that called me the same day I contacted him! He was so personable and gave me a great deal with uplighting included in his package. He was on time for the event, dressed and acted professional, and kept the party going! My guests, young and old, all enjoyed his music. He was so easy to work with, played all the songs I asked him to, and played edited versions of all the songs like I had requested. He really kept the evening flowing, I can't imagine how things would have gone without him!!!

John was always available for any questions I had. In fact he was the person that really helped to organize the day. Due to his experience; John knows what the key components are to have a smooth stress-free event. We had a wide range of ages and music preferences which he provided. It was a great party and I would recommend John with full confidence.

John Wiggins of Flip Side DJ's was the DJ for our wedding reception, and he did a fantastic job! He had previously worked several events for our dental school, which he also always did a great job for. We spoke over the phone several times before the wedding, and he provided helpful information regarding the reception timeline. He was very organized as far as setting up, following the timeline, finding all our special songs, and playing music from our suggested play-list! He also provided up-lighting, which really made the room look great! His fees were very reasonable too- always a plus! All-in-all, he was a lot of fun, and most importantly, our dance floor was always full! Many of our friends and family commented on how much fun they had at our reception, and how they thought he was a great DJ! We would recommend him for any event, especially weddings! We just got married on June 30th and used John Wiggins from Flip Side DJ's! I don't know if I can really capture how PERFECT John was for our wedding! Before the wedding we were in contact a lot with details, and songs. John allows you to have as little or as much say in your wedding music as you want. My husband, being a BIG music fan, had a very LONG request list for John. He was able to include everything we wanted! He really listened and helped us create our perfect day. He kept the night flowing great and there was never any down time. Our guests loved interacting with him and he was so friendly and flexible with everything. In fact, everyone was having so much fun, we had John stay for an hour longer! I have a friend getting married in October who is cancelling her wedding and booking John because she had such a great time! Your wedding music can truly make or break the evening, so please take it from me and use Flip Side DJ's! You will not be disappointed!! Thank you again John! We really did have a perfect wedding day!! =)

We used DJ Wiggins for our wedding in June. He was awesome!! I must have emailed him fifty times with different questions and he was always very quick to reply. For the wedding, he played everything we wanted, and didn't play the stuff we told him not to play. He was very good at keeping the party going! There were people on the dance floor the ENTIRE night!! We were told by many of our guests that it was the funnest wedding they have ever been to!! On a side note, the music at your reception is very important. It is really the DJ that can make or break your entire wedding. If the music is bad the wedding is basically bad. You want your guests to have fun and the music plays the biggest part in that. Go with Flipside DJ, you cannot go wrong!!!!

My extended family has used John Wiggins for weddings and my now husband saw his at a wedding right before we got engaged and liked him as well. Thank goodness! We have gotten so many compliments on the reception and how much fun it was. The dance floor was always full, John played Christmas music during the dinner without us even thinking about it (our wedding was Dec 3), and he even had an obscure WWE song that my brother asked for on the spot to play a fun prank on me during the reception which capped off the evening perfectly for some fun laughs! You couldn't ask for a better DJ!!!
