JohnJ Entertainment did our wedding in Fairlee Vermont on October 25, 2025. We reached out about a year in advance and booked our date, and they were incredibly responsive from the very beginning. They scheduled a phone call right away and anytime we had questions they replied within twenty four hours. We also had several Zoom calls to talk through details and make sure everything would be just right for our day. They were thoughtful, collaborative, and truly listened to what we wanted.
On our wedding day they arrived early to set up and handled everything seamlessly. Cocktail hour had the perfect relaxed vibe and the reception was full of energy with a dance floor that never felt empty. JohnJ was the perfect DJ for such an important moment in our lives and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and talented DJ.
My new wife and I absolutely loved John and Mike and would recommend in a heartbeat! We immediately felt comfortable during our initial meeting and decided to book and we were so happy we did! They were super accommodating to any changes or unique things we wanted to do and had a very helpful spreadsheet to fill out to make sure we didn’t forget anything. We had a few unusual songs that they were able to find without a problem. We had an additional meeting about a month before the wedding and were able to make sure they understood our vision. When we finally saw them the day of it felt like a family reunion! John and Mike kept everything running smoothly and they kept the party going for about 3.5 hours of dancing, and we wished it would never end! We can’t thank them enough and wish we had another event to book them for!!!

It's your day, done your way! We do not use a cookie-cutter thumb drive from someone else's event.
Sure, some songs are a given, but we can also play an only 80's power rock, a southern-stye BBQ, an event with a Latin, or ethnic flair. Songs from your playlist are no problem, or leave it to us to watch the crowd and keep them moving on the floor! Why choose JohnJ? My name is on the door. I don't sub it out to a rotating pool of DJs. You get me, my experience and my passion for music and my dedication to making a truly unique event. I offer a free second sound system for use at a gazebo / arbor along with the best wireless microphones so guests can hear your ceremony, free lighting, and more! I also offer military, first responder and several other discounts. Of course we do weddings, but much more -- class reunions are a specialty as are corporate events! We love backyard BBQs as well as milestone anniversaries and birthdays.

I've been passionate about music since the time I was born -- maybe sooner - in the womb. My mom worked at Columbia records where she got to hear master tapes before they went to press! My 7 great uncles passed on their collection of great swing and rat pack music to me and I amassed a collection of 3,000 vinyl albums, 1,000 45s and 4,000 CDs over the years.
In high school school I created a radio station and then hosted a college radio show
I lived in Georgia during the 90s and attended 20 concerts a year.
