Before I say anything, I want to point out that I had FOUR horrible trials before finding Johnny. When I found him it was a saving grace. Johnny is patient, professional and amazin...
g!! Johnny did the hair and make up for my mom, my seven bridesmaids and me. I was worried at first since the group was so big but Johnny and his crew did an AMAZING job and were done with more than enough time to spare!! They were at my apartment on time and truly made everyone beautiful!!
Johnny is a true professional. He responded to my inquiry about availability immediately and he responded to several e-mails back and forth since I was planning a destination weddi...

My hair and makeup turned out even better than I had hoped and I am forever grateful that he was able to transform me into a glamorous bride for my very special wedding day. I am very grateful for the reviews that were provided by other brides since I was planning from another state so I am hopeful that my review will help another bride!
I used Johnny to do my hair/makeup, as well as the hair/makeup for my maid of honor and "best woman" for my wedding on June 19, 2011. He did a superb job. He used extensions in m...
y hair that matched my hair color perfectly and they looked beautiful. The makeup was exactly what I was looking for - natural but made up to look great in photographs. He also did a wonderful job on the maid of honor and best woman. The best woman had some hair issues (damaged hair due to coloring) but he ended up making her look absolutely beautiful. Her hair looked amazing. Johnny is a real pleasure to work with - he is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend him for anyone getting their hair/makeup done for their wedding. I found him online as I do not live in the NYC area and I am so grateful that I found him! Thanks Johnny!!!

Johnny Gonzalez is fantastic! I am an extremely picky person and had already had 3 hair trials when I found Johnny. He listened to everything I had to say and used his own amazing ...
vision to create a wedding day hair style that exceeded my vision and expectations. Johnny also did my makeup and he managed to make me look amazing without making me look too made up. He arrived to my wedding location early and stayed until everything was perfect. I could not have asked for anything better!
From the first trial session to the day of the wedding, I could not have asked for more! I knew that Johnny was the make-up artist for me when I looked into the mirror and saw myse...
lf transformed. His techniques, the quality of his products, and ability to create a specific look that I imagined are impeccable. Everyone, including my husband, commented on how I have never looked as beautiful as I did on my wedding day, and I have to agree with them. Make-up is always part of my daily routine, so I am no stranger to it, and it was easy to see that Johnny's abilities with hair and make-up are endless.
In addition, Johnny was very easy to communicate with and schedule appointments. He always got back to me promptly and the experience was stress free. He was such a calm and supportive presence on my wedding day, and I really enjoyed the entire experience. Thanks so much!
From start to finish, Johnny Gonzalez was an amazing artist to work with! I contacted him for a trial and he responded professionally and quickly. We met and he was very kind, he l...
istened to what I wanted, gave me some ideas and was patient because I am very indecisive. After my trial I knew he was the one for my wedding. On my wedding day he arrived on time with his assistant, and they got to work on my mom and my bridesmaids. They were fast and did an amazing job. Then came my turn. When he was done with me, my face looked perfect, not overdone and really the most beautiful I have ever felt. My hair was gorgeous and exactly how we decided during the trial, it was a half up and half down style with lots of curls and a pretty twist design in the back. He also applied eyelashes which I was a bit worried about, but both the makeup and lashes lasted all night for all of us even through tears. My photos came out amazing, everyone complimented my makeup and hair on my wedding day. I just got my photos a few weeks ago and people are still commenting on how beautiful our hair and makeup was after seeing the photos. I am very happy with his services and I highly recommend Johnny, worth every penny!
