I was so thrilled with John and his services. I found out about him through an artist named Pete Siner, who we booked for our cocktail hour-- we ended up doing a package with him and Johnny Macs and seriously it was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. Pete sounded incredible during cocktail hour-- our guests were blown away and it was such a fun surprise for them. John was so fun and really has a sense for what keeps people on the dance floor having fun! We met with John and Pete over a year before our wedding and anytime we had questions they both were great with communicating with us. As we got closer they took the time to chat with us on the phone and make sure they understood the vibe we were going for. They were great with announcements, toasts, ceremony music, extra mics, and beyond. Seriously anything you need or want they have it. They were willing to change things up even very last minute without a question. Also, they were so affordable, there is no comparison. Johnny Macs and Pete were incredible, fun, accommodating, and kind at honestly the best price out there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and to book them for more events. This DJ is full of energy while maintaining professionalism. He is full of fun and personality, and the same applies to his assistants. He provided the wedding with an atmosphere of happiness, the dance floor was jammed until the end of the evening. He's interactive and happy to please the crowd. John & Pete made our wedding reception! Peters performance for cocktail hour with his acoustic set is awesome! It definitely sets them apart from other DJ's offering both live music and DJ service! John and Paul played an excellent assortment of music at our recent wedding. I can not rave enough about how awesome the playlist was. I highly recommend them for any events you may have! Everyone raved about the music as well!

I loved working with John , He has a great voice, great taste in music and is an all-around great/funny guy. For our initial meeting, he was super flexible and met me after business hours .He gave me a discount because he had done my friends wedding which was so nice of him! He was very responsive leading up to the wedding, the day-of, he took care of everything flawlessly and played all the music we wanted. You rock Johnny Mac!!!

WOW! I cannot tell you how amazing Johnny Mac was for our wedding. We had a huge range of ages present (young people, older couples, families, etc) and everyone we've spoken to has said they had a blast. More specifically, everyone has mentioned that the dance floor was packed all night Johnny was wonderful to work with and was very accommodating, especially considering that my fiance and I were living out of state. He was helpful and made some good spur of the moment decisions during the reception that helped make it such a fun night. He also was able to easily work with our other vendors and our planner. He followed our requests but we also let him have the flexibility to decide much of the music. So so happy we went with John!!!!!

Finding a DJ was one of the more difficult to-do's for our wedding but we are SO happy that we chose Johnny Mac. I had been to a few weddings where the DJ had played songs that the bride and groom had not requested and I was worried that this would happen to me. Johnny Mac put those worries at ease because he let us take control of the song list and any suggestions that he made were right in alignment with our music style. He did a great job of keeping everyone happy on the dance floor. He was also so easy to work with and is very reasonably priced compared to most other DJs out there!

John is an exceptional DJ when it comes to events as big and important as a wedding. He's professional and simply courteous to the wishes of the bride and groom. A down to earth guy with all the energy you'd expect from someone hosting you're big day, you'd be crazy NOT to sign up with Johnny Mac. The duo he brings with live entertainment also adds to the magic behind the curtain. Not one person didn't enjoy our wedding, and it was all because of John and Dave and Paul. all I can say is AWESOME! Hands down one of the best DJ's out there, He gets it! Gets that we want to hear the whole song, Gets how to keep people on the dance floor and most of all has outstanding prices and overall service! Our introductions were amazing!!! He had people laughing and smiling all night!!!

I can't say enough about the amazing experience that we had having Johnny Mac apart of our wedding! He was very professional, keeps people on the dance floor, and knows how to throw a great wedding party. He provided everything needed from speakers outside for our ceremony and lighting indoors. Johnny Mac is excellent at what he does! We have enjoyed his expertise and musical library at quite a few functions & were so glad to book him for our wedding & next day brunch! ( yes we had a DJ at our brunch)...I recommend Johnny Macs Jammin' Music for all your wedding needs! He made everything look great from the wireless uplighting to the playlist it was amazing... Oh and not to mention the live music we had during cocktail hour! I mean what DJ service also offer live music! He's funny and so affordable for top notch entertainment. Just last month I attended my high school friends wedding in Newport, The whole wedding was amazing, from the food to the decorations and of course the location. But above all I have to say the entertainment stood out the most, I was blown away by John & his staff at this wedding, The music from cocktail hour till the last song was 100% perfect! I was at many weddings the last few months and it seemed the no DJ could really nail the crowed with the music and personality. John was amazing he was almost like a guest just having fun with the rest of us, such a nice tone when speaking, His set up looked amazing not to mention the uplighting in the room as well. When it came time to get people on the dance floor...let's just say he had no issue...For the two hours of dancing the floor was full! The mix of music was great...everyone was singing and dancing, It was the most fun I have had at a wedding in years! Speaking of blown away...During cocktail hour he even provided live music with a gentleman named Pete Siner who also worked with John, This guy had a great voice and it was so nice to have both a DJ and live music...It really sets Johns services apart! Anyway I could go on and on about the wedding but the point is Johnny Macs Jammin Music in my book has been one of the best DJ's I have ever seen attending a wedding, I've been telling all my friends to book them when they get hitched!

We absolutely loved Johnny Mac and his team. DJ services and uplighting were all top notch and the price was amazing - hundreds less than any DJ we spoke to before we chose Johnny Mac. The dance floor was packed all night, and we had an absolute blast dancing with our family and friends. Johnny made sure that he pronounced everyone's name correctly during the introductions, and really kept the crowd engaged and made sure the night flowed smoothly. He truly is the best. In addition to hiring Johnny as our DJ, we used his live music service (PM Music) for cocktail hour, which included a saxophonist and pianist. Imagine our surprise when the saxophonist stayed the whole night! His interaction with the crowd was great. My favorite photo from our wedding is of the saxophonist standing in the center of the dance floor playing his heart out surrounded by our friends during an Eddie Money song. Again, we loved Johnny Mac and would hire him again in a second! My parents already want to bring him back for an anniversary party next August :)

We have used Johnny Macs Jammin Music for a family event and have been MORE than pleased with the service, cost and professionalism that we received. John McGowan was a delight to deal with and was very accommodating for all our many special requests. We will definitely be using his services again for any future events we have.

I was at a wedding over the summer and was so excited when I walked in to see that Johnny Mac and his team were the DJ's! I used them for a holiday party for years at my old company and every year they made the event so fun! John has great music taste as well ad lighting! At this wedding he made the room look so cool with the uplighting and even broke out some dance lighting which made the dance floor look very cool....I knew a few people at the wedding and everyone said the same thing that i keep saying "Johnnys Awesome.! He really knows how to interact with the crowed and make everyone have fun! My friends wedding was a blast and I have to say if there was another DJ there I ' think we would had the same amount of fun! I already booked him for my wedding on 2016!...Never to early right?
