yla (and Mallory of course) was absolutely amazing to work with. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out absolutely perfect. Cayla knew exactly which locations fit our vision and her ability to find the best natural light is unmatched! Throughout our wedding day Cayla and Mallory weren’t just the photographers, they were our hype-girls! They kept us comfortable, laughing and relaxed all day. I also love that we were able to download and have full access to ALL of our photos!! If you are looking for a reliable, reasonably priced photographer who will make you feel absolutely flawless and comfortable – look no further!
Cayla and Mallory were so great! They went above and beyond to capture all our pictures and special moments and our pictures all turned out beautifully! I am so glad we chose them ...
as our photographers. I would highly highly recommend them as your wedding photographer!
Johnson Photography is the BEST EVER, EVER, EVER. To say I'm obsessed with them, their incredible talent and style, and their business is an understatement. I seriously love them!...
They shot my college graduate photos, my engagements, and my wedding photos, and each time, I fell more in love than the time before. They are such gifted, kind, selfless, professional, and wonderful individuals. When you work with them, you feel like you're hanging out with your long lost best friend—your long lost best friend who takes the most stunning photos. They took every request, every dream, every detail, and brought it to life. I can't put into words how personal their work is. I mean, they have the ability to capture the most stunning and magical photos—photos that I look at and am able to see these cherished, beautiful, raw moments come back to life. They are true artists who are insanely gifted at what they do. They also go above and beyond to make all involved feel as comfortable, relaxed, and happy as possible. The photos aren't posed! They create these real, magical moments and its incredible. And bonus, they even go as far as to start your day-of timeline! Hands down recommend!!!
Cayla did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding and engagement session! Her style is clean and bright and timeless, and I love how she was able to capture our persona...
lities. None of our photos or poses felt awkward or forced, and she took the time to understand what details and parts of the big day were important to us. At our wedding, she spent time taking precious photos of family, goofy pictures I requested, and even stopped to get us a glass of water since it was so warm outside during pictures. Throughout the whole planning process, she communicated promptly, clearly, and often with helpful insights and tips to make the most of our engagement and wedding photos. I absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants a high quality, reliable, professional and enjoyable experience. These are photos I will treasure forever.
I’m absolutely in love with the photos from Cayla and Mallory! Cayla came all the way out to a city closer to us for our engagement session. She was able to get us out of our shell...
and capture some beautiful shots! She’s so sweet and personable. We totally clicked.
Cayla and Mallory were AMAZING at our wedding. It rained the entire day. I mean... nonstop. They ran around getting soaked just so that we could get the perfect pictures. Both of them were so helpful and willing to do anything to shoot. We got sneak peeks within 48 hours and I about died. I am so in love!
I would recommend Johnson Photography to anyone. We had such a good experience. They are such sweet ladies!
Cayla and Mallory are AMAZING to work with. Communication was great, which is a very important aspect of wedding planning. They made the process before, during and after so smooth ...
it was stress-free. I highly recommend them for your very important event. Would give them 10 stars if I could:)
I reviewed Cayla after she took our engagement photos 6 months before our wedding, but I just had to rave MORE now that the wedding has come and gone. Johnson Photography is incred...
ible. Their photos are stunning and truly capture the emotion of our wedding day. Cayla and Mallory were so professional and well-prepared for our cold December wedding in Michigan - they even let me borrow a white fleece to stay warm between photos. They went above and beyond and made our entire wedding party feel comfortable during the group shots. At the reception, the integrated seamlessly, it was like they weren't even there...but they were! They captured all our favorite moments and then some! We had so many guests compliment "those fun photographers" and it really shows in the photos. I am so grateful for their beautiful work and would 100% recommend them to any bride and groom.
Cayla and Mallory are two wonderful women who work hard and are professional, patient, and incredibly friendly. We couldn't be happier with the pictures from both our engagement an...
d our wedding. Absolutely stunning. Every moment was beautifully, perfectly captured. They went above and beyond at every turn - we were from out of state and not only did they agree to meet us in a different town for our engagement pictures, they stayed with us about an hour longer than expected to ensure we got all the pictures we would want. The same thing happened at the wedding - everything was running a little behind and they graciously stayed longer to ensure our night was captured the way we wanted it. I regularly recommend them to all of our friends and family, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer not just in Lansing, but anywhere.
What can I say?! Cayla is simply the best! My fiance and I were a little worried we would look too stiff and awkward in our engagement photos, but Cayla put us immediately at ease....
She has a way of making you feel incredibly comfortable and natural - and it shows in her work. Her keen eye for beautiful backdrops and candid moments make her photos absolutely beautiful! We are so happy with our engagement photos and are thrilled to have her and her sister shooting our wedding - we know they will not disappoint!

racticed techniques. Family members and friends of all ages were impressed by their professionalism and spunk. The website provided with the pictures was extremely easy to use and the final photographs were ready for us in a timely manner. We are STILL receiving compliments on our beautiful pictures. Cannot wait to do an anniversary shoot!!!

our proposal, engagement and wedding photos—will be contacting them for all major life events forever haha! Their work speaks for itself, but I will speak on behalf of their organization, communication and attitude—couldn't have imagined working with anyone else on our wedding day. We can't thank them enough for creating photographs we will cherish for our lifetime and generations to come.
