We are a Black, Latina, and Woman owned, all-clients inclusive luxury brand, which means that we welcome all clients with all different backgrounds, ethnicities, preferences, genders, etc. and provide high quality beauty services to all of our clients.
I have been a pro makeup artist for 12 years, with 7 years bridal experience. I have worked in hundreds of venues across the tristate area and have glammed hundreds of brides and their groups! I My ultimate goal is to empower my clients through the magic of glam. We are a Black, Latina, and Woman owned, all-clients inclusive luxury brand, which means that we welcome all clients with all different backgrounds, ethnicities, preferences, genders, etc. and provide high quality beauty services to all of our clients.

Joie, Emily, Asia, and Marlisa were all wonderful. They arrived early and fully prepared, and were so fun to chat with while we spent the morning celebrating in our suites. They took the time to give each bridesmaid personalized recommendations and created styles that felt unique to everyone.
Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous, and we were so impressed with how well everything held up. Some of us were done early in the morning, and our hair and makeup still looked amazing over 12 hours later at the end of the night.

The hair and makeup she and Emily did for my crew was beautifully glamorous while still making sure we looked like ourselves. Joie was able to bring my vision to life completely. I felt like a princess!!
We were also so impressed by the quality of product she uses. We wore our looks all day and well into the night and it stayed put completely, but it also didn’t cause ANY irritation at all. All my bridesmaids are texting me to say they’re shocked at how clear and clean their skin has stayed, when they’re used to breaking out after a heavy make up night.

osit, our planners also had a hard time getting in touch with her. It took some time to receive a signed contract despite multiple follow-ups.
There were two occasions when Joie needed to reschedule the hair and makeup trial appointments last minute. We understand that unexpected things happen, but the changes were communicated without much apology, which was a bit disappointing.
It also took several trials to achieve the desired hairstyle, despite providing detailed instructions.
On the wedding day, the hair and makeup looked great. While we do appreciate Joie’s efforts and solutions towards the end, the overall experience was challenging due to communication issues, last-minute changes, and styling difficulties. Because of this, we wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending her services, as it added considerable stress to an already busy time.

Because of two emergencies that occurred outside of our control, we did have to reschedule her initial preview appointment and her first re-preview. We did apologize to Giovana, and offered free services to make up for it. She ended up receiving all three of her previews, 6 total appointment services, for free. Her first preview, we welcomed her sister to join us. At her third preview, her wonderful planner joined us and we created her dream bridal look. We created custom skin and hair systems to help bring her the best results, even when having to account for August weather, which leading up to your wedding day, had been incredibly hot and humid, which does affect how hair and makeup will last.
We had to conduct three total previews because we were not being communicated properly what Giovana wanted and our solutions to fix some of the hairstyling issues were not accepted. She brought us photos of brown and champagne makeup looks when in reality, she wanted peachy pinks, which I was able to figure out for her at her final preview. I offered her a hairstyling treatment to have done BEFORE the wedding services were to be done to help with the issues she was having with her hair, but she initially declined for lack of time.
I worked closely with your wedding planning team leading up the the wedding and after a wonderful team zoom, we came up with an awesome solution to bring her the best results. Leading up to her final preview I sent her recommendations for hair masks and facial masks to help her hair and skin health outside of the appointment, which ultimately lead to great results at her final preview.
After her final preview, when the proper inspo was communicated and my suggestion to do the hairstyling treatment was accepted, she absolutely LOVED her results and we hear you did, too.
On the wedding day I arrived to her hotel one hour and 15 minutes ahead to conduct three services, for free, might I add, to properly add treatment and prep her hair for the day. Everyone’s services were done in a timely manner, with only the highest care and high quality work delivered to each client, each of whom were in love with their glam and felt beautiful and confident to be a part of your wedding.
We were completely ready for Giovana and her group 15 minutes before they even arrived to the venue. We handled each person with professionalism, care, and upbeat, positive vibes to ensure a wonderful wedding day getting ready experience.
After careful artistry and craftsmanship, I executed Giovana’s dream hair and makeup that she loved. Her hair and makeup lasted BEAUTIFULLY all night long and she was a glowing and gorgeous bride. I waited until after our contracted finish time for her to get into her dress, to make sure she felt beautiful, confident and radiating like a bride should. I carefully walked her through her fully loaded touch up kit that I provided her to keep everything gorgeous all night, so she could maintain her look with confidence. After she gave me the green light that she felt great and was ready, I then left, ensuring everyone’s experience was nothing but wonderful and professional.
I appreciate you coming to share your experience but it is important to be clear and to communicate the full story, not just some parts. Based on the experiences of my other clients, the reviews speak for themselves and every other client booked with me had a wonderful and beautiful experience in which they loved and ultimately felt that their wedding day vision was brought to life with our beauty contribution. It is so important to remember that when assessing bridal hair and makeup results, realistic expectations must be maintained and suggestions from the pros are only going to help. We made many accommodations and offered so many free things to make up for any discomfort and uncertainty leading up to the wedding day. On the wedding day, we did everything we could to bring her a beautiful experience with amazing results, that you have even acknowledged were great and lasted.

I did two makeup previews before the wedding day, and being able to tweak things to get it just right meant Joie nailed it on the wedding day and I looked exactly how I wanted to. My makeup stayed put ALL DAY, through tears and all, and the lip touch up kit came in clutch. She and her colleague even got a *flat tire* on the way to do our makeup, and she did not let that derail the morning! She was prepared to do anything to get there. During our trial appointment, we shared so many stories that really solidified that bond. There was a moment when I thought I wanted airbrush makeup, but when I saw it, I was not a fan and Joie went above and beyond by immediately recognizing my discomfort and knew exactly how to alter the style to make me feel more comfortable in my own skin.
On my wedding day, she and her assistant were punctual and extremely fun to be around, setting a joyful tone for the day. Joie transformed me into the most beautiful version of myself. Her attention to detail and her creativity were evident in every brushstroke and pin. Joie perfectly executed the trial hair and makeup, adding the hair pieces I had purchased and sent her pictures of and made me feel confident and radiant all day long.
