Joe and Vickie were so amazing to work with for our wedding on 9/14/2024. I was recommended by my sister to use them as photographers/videographers as she also used them for her wedding back in 2014. It was clear that Joe is passionate about his work. Our wedding was around 70 guests, and as the sole photographer, he was seemingly always nearby to capture special moments, while also spotting candid ones from a distance. Despite light rain during our pre-ceremony photos, Joe surprised us with a large white umbrella, which allowed for some pretty outdoor shots to still happen.

We could not have made a better choice with Jo as out wedding photographer. We got married at Born to Run Farm and he really made an awesome job. Joe was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. He was very knowledgable about the correct lighting and poses to make for some incredible photos. He also made sure to take any specific photos we requested, and had no problem extending our session by an extra hour at the last minute. We also always received quick replies to any of our emails or questions.

Joe and Vickie were amazing to work with! From the very beginning I loved how affordable they were and they never pushed me to spend extra money. We even got an engagement shoot included when we booked for the wedding! Joe was awesome to work with for the engagement photos and on the day of the wedding. The communication beforehand was great, they answered all of my questions and we had a meeting before the wedding to go over the timeline so there was nothing to worry about the day of. Joe is extremely skilled and was able to work efficiently with our small window of time to take pictures during cocktail hour. We also had Teresa for half of the time and they worked so well together. They made us feel comfortable and it was clear to see their strong knowledge in photography. A really nice surprise was that we got all of our pictures back (about 2,000) only two weeks after the wedding date! They are all truly breathtaking and I am SO happy that I chose Joie Elie to work with, I highly recommend booking with them!

Remarkable, professional, high-quality photographers! We used their photography services for our wedding. We met with them twice before the event to go over the schedule, and they even sent us a questionnaire to clarify exactly what we wanted to have happen. Joe captured every moment of our outdoor intimate wedding. He made even a little backyard wedding beautiful and memorable. He processed all the pictures he took and sent us a USB of the day. We spent $1300 for a 6-hr day for a ceremony, reception, and bride-groom solo session without venue change. I believe their packages are remarkably competitive for the quality you recieve. You will not regret getting a photographer for such a special occasion, and Joie Elie captured the moment perfectly.

Our Wedding was this past Saturday. Joe went above and beyond to get creative and beautiful shots! We had an outdoor wedding and It rained on and off and his creativity incorporating the weather and the environment was unbelievable! His eye for detail and creativity is second to none! To understand this review let me start by saying.. I am an antibride, I never dreamed of my wedding day ever. Vickie and Joe are just above and beyond. Joe was unbelievable on my wedding day. He delivered the most stunning pictures. His artistic and candid shots are beyond beautiful. He knew at my wedding what was going to look the best and it shows in every picture. We had a multicultural wedding, and Vickie and Joe did an AMAZING job capturing all the meaningful details. A few of our favorite moments included: reading love letters we wrote to each other, our first look before the ceremony, and sneaking away before cake cutting for a nighttime photo session. As we look back at our photos and highlight video, we are simply in awe of their work! Joie Elie photographed both our engagement and wedding photos in September and did an amazing job! We chose to have only one photographer (Joe) and we still received roughly 2000 photos of our special day. His photo styling is very artistic and natural - he is a wizard with lighting! We also received our edits very quickly which was fantastic. We received a sampling of edits online within one week after the wedding and a flash drive of all 2000 edited photos within 4-5 weeks. I would definitely recommend him for your special day.

Being that we requested only one of each, they were still able to capture every single important moment in our wedding! Joe and Vickie were amazing for our wedding. They have an amazing eye for composition and light and are able to direct bodies as needed. They snap posed and candid shots exquisitely, capturing the feel of our entire wedding party. Joe's intuition for weddings is unmatched. My husband and I left the wedding for a couple a minutes to step away from all the hustle and bustle, and he was able to sniff us out! It was honestly a blessing because he capture some amazing couple shots of us in the nighttime with a beautiful background. Wow! Joe, Vickie, and the rest of the Joie Elie team were incredible from beginning to end. Initial interactions were with Vickie for planning and booking, and she was always available via email, call, or text. We were able to figure out the whole day with her experience in addition to our own vision. On the day of, the entire team was so excited and involved, which made it easy to get through so much photography (and videography!). We did a same-day edit, which blew our expectations away. Our guests were similarly wowed by the work they did when we showed the video at the reception. It's crazy how much they can do in only a few hours of filming and editing! Both my wife and I had a great experience with the entire team; Joe was so funny and relaxed, making it simple for us and our bridal party to be just as relaxed and engaged with the work. I found Joie Elie Photography through my mother in law. I am very grateful for the recommendation as it is one of the best decisions for my wedding planning. They went with us on the trolley on the wedding day so we had a fabulous time traveling around the downtown philly for photo session on my wedding day. My sister used Joie Elie Photography for her wedding video service two years ago and she regretted not using their photography service. So she made sure that I signed up both at the same time and get my complimentary engagement photo shoot as well. From the engagement photo shoot, I am impressed already. We went to TCNJ where my husband and I first met and Joe took "tons" of great pictures there. It is really hard to choose what to go into the photo guest book. On the wedding day, they flew a drone to capture our beach side ceremony and all the guests were raving about how beautiful these shots are when Joie Elie put together a same day edit for us later at the reception. My sister is expecting and very close to her due date so she can only join us from ipad but Joe also got a shot of her during reception dancing from her home. I have no idea when and where Joe took those shots but he and his entire team did capture all the essence of the events and we feel that it is money well spent. Two thumbs up!

My sister-in -aw who used JoIe Elie Photography last year for her wedding and she gave me Vickie's contact. When I talked with Vickie over the phone, she is very friendly and knowledgeable and directing me to choose the best package for me immediately. My husband and I are both optometrists and we would like to work with the photographers that are creative and efficient since we don't have much time to plan for our wedding due to our busy work schedule. Both Joe and Vickie showed up early on my wedding day and start working immediately. Even things are running late here and there, they simply go with the flow and cool. Their entire team is very courteous and our family and guests feel so comfortable and we have so many wonderful pictures from the wedding. Their work speak for themselves! Throughout the event, I notice that Joe is very diligent in taking the photos and he carried three cameras with different lens and constantly lowering down so he won't block anyone's view. When Joe and Vickie entered my room, our entire family felt so relaxed knowing what to expect and consider them as our family friends already. When working with Joe from Joie Elie Photography, I never need to pretend, pose or stage any of the shots. Their entire team is like ninja, very lowkey and able to capture all the important moments and true family reaction at the right timing. Again, I was being forewarned by my sister, there are too many good pictures after the wedding to select for the album. It did take me a while to decide what to go into the album. From the cover to inside layout, what they recommended is based on their professional judgement and they don't do any pressure sale at all. Joie Elie Photography is superb. He calmed me down on my wedding day by letting me know what to expect. When I saw the sneak preview pictures after returning from my honeymoon, my husband and I are beyond ecstatic. Every one keeps raving about the pictures even my tough parents who are not easily pleased. I received my photo USB drive two weeks after the wedding and was given very clear direction as to how to select my pictures online to make an album. Joe and his associate photographer Matt are beyond amazing. Too many excellent photos after the wedding ad I have hard time narrowing them down. I receive my photos within 3 weeks after the wedding after I return from honeymoon. I cant wait to share with my family & friends immediately! Joe is very hands on and friendly. Wow!! Joie Elie blew us away with our same day edit, video and album. We were lucky to get married on the day of the blizzard of 2016 ! They booked a room the night before the wedding knowing the storm was fast approaching. A few days before the wedding they captured some great ariel video & photos with their drone knowing the pending storm would make that type of cinematography difficult on the day of. They had meticulously planned for the day and their team was strategically positioned to capture every moment, angle, perspective of the video. We still have guests complimenting us on the same day edit. We are constantly told how it was one of the best people have seen. They did an amazing job editing their video during our break between the wedding and reception to enable us to show the same day edit at the beginning of our reception before we walked out. The video for the overall day was put together in a 30 minute format which was just perfect. They really captured the memory of that day brilliantly. HIGHLY recommended.
