Jon Schulte Photography and Videography is a wedding photography and videography company located in West Chester, OH. This professional aims to document the journey of your special day to tell the unique story of your wedding celebration. From the happy tears and loving looks to the heartfelt speeches and first dance, they will be there to expertly capture it all. Company owner and visual artist John Schulte had a fascination for his craft from a young age which stayed with him into adulthood. In 2004, John decided to pursue his passion and founded his videography company, Schulte Productions. In 2006, John added his photography skills to the mix and began offering photography services alongside his videography services. Since this time, John has captured over 300 weddings on video and has become a successful collaborator with istockphoto and Getty Images. Jon Schulte Photography and Videography offers a range of photography and videography packages to choose from. Day-of photography coverage ranges between four and eight hours, with additional hours available if necessary. Engagement sessions, photo books, and high-resolution downloads can also be added. Their Basic wedding videography package includes four hours of coverage by one videographer, your choice of soundtrack, and wireless mics.

Jon and his partner Tara were truly phenomenal. From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation my husband and I had. I got married at the Steam Plant in downtown Dayton, and I had a very specific vision for my photos—on top of the usual wedding shots—and Jon brought every single one to life flawlessly. The final images are nothing short of stunning. He quoted a 6–8 week turnaround, and he delivered right on time—with over 700 beautiful photos! Not only is Jon incredibly talented, but he's also an absolute joy to work with. He’s responsive, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your vision come to life. No idea is too small or too out there—he just makes it happen. From our initial consultation to the final details meeting to the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about the experience—or the results. And the video? Instant tears—in the very best way. It perfectly captured the magic of the day: the moments, the messages from our guests, the music, the energy... simply immaculate. When I started planning our wedding, I had a very clear idea of the kind of photos and video I wanted, and Jon and Tara delivered something even more beautiful than I had imagined. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Jon as our photographer. If you’re considering booking him—do it. You will not be disappointed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Cannot recommend working with Jon enough! Not only did our wedding video end up being everything we wanted and more, but Jon was a joy to work with from start to finish. He made the entire process fun, stress-free, and seamless. Jon was such a positive energy to have around on our wedding day, and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Our experience with Jon was amazing! He was easy to work with and understood what we wanted captured from the start. He genuinely captured our wedding and portrayed the spirit of our day very well. He caught so many fun moments on camera. He blended in with the other happenings of the wedding and did not obstruct or interfere in a problematic fashion. His pricing is very reasonable which is great for those wanting video of the whole day but not looking to break the bank! Would definitely recommend!

Jon was the best photographer!! He made taking pictures so fun, helped us feel relaxed and was able to capture the most special parts of Our day! He had great time management at our wedding. We received our gallery right when he said we would and got back over 500 pictures. Me and my husband can honestly say we loved having him as our photographer!

Jon was all we could have hoped for in a wedding videographer. Not only did he capture every important moment and share them in their entirety, he worked seamlessly with our photographers and wedding planner as a team almost as if they had worked together several times before. He takes a fly on the wall documentary style approach, which was such a breath of fresh air because we could entirely trust him to do what he needed to do to make our video special, while giving our other vendors their space to shine and do their own special jobs. He came in with a game plan, and created so many beautiful shots. Additionally, we cannot express our gratitude in his effective and responsive communication, holding a quick, efficient call with us to game plan the day prior to the wedding, and following through with everything we talked about. In the swirl of the day, it is so hard to take everything in and remember every moment, and it brought back all of the magic when we were able to experience the day again in its entirety. We would recommend him to anyone looking to capture all of the special moments of their special day.

We found Jon through our photographers, and he provided a quality video for a very reasonable price. He was great at directing the process in subtle and important ways. He was great with communication and expectation, and we received the video in the timeframe he specified. We initially did not think it was worth paying for a videographer, but we are so happy we decided to do a video, as it really helps capture the wonder of a wedding. We are so thankful that we did this, and Jon's package helped us get there. We would recommend working with him.

We're so thankful that we found Jon! We had a small Covid wedding, and Jon was super flexible in listening to what we really needed, and even giving us an option to use credit hours towards future photo shoots, which we used most recently for a photo session with our baby! Obviously the photos are gorgeous, and we're extremely happy with the photos from both events. We'll definitely be reaching out to Jon for more family photo sessions as our family grows. We hired Jon for our small, intimate wedding and only need photos at the actual wedding service. I feel that we were treated with the same care as a couple hiring them for a much larger sized event. He and Katie were very easy going and seemed to care about us getting the pictures that we wanted on our special day. Jon was very knowledgeable about timing and planning, which helped relieve some of the stress. We emailed back and forth over some of the details and I felt confident that Katie would be there and do a good job. Our teaser photos arrived in two weeks, and we were excited about what we saw! The rest of the photos arrived in six weeks, as promised, and they did an amazing job of capturing our big day! I’m so glad that we chose Jon and would definitely recommend him to others for their wedding.

My fiancée and I hired Jon to be the photographer for our wedding, well before Covid delayed it by two years. Jon was super gracious and offered to honor our future dates when we had to postpone our big day. That was a big relief for us. On our wedding day, Jon and his colleague arrived well before their start time to assess the venue and choose some attractive settings for photos. Jon is very personable and encouraged us to just relax and be ourselves. He likes to capture candid photos as well as some of the traditional poses. We felt so relaxed with his style and he helped to make our day even more special! They are so good at what they do that you don’t notice his team after awhile. Our initial photos arrived several weeks after our wedding and we were extremely impressed with the results! He captured some amazing moments and beautiful settings! I honestly could not have asked for anything better. The final photos arrived shortly thereafter and we were absolutely thrilled with his work! I would 100% hire Jon again! He is very punctual, professional and phenomenal at his work. Thank you Jon for capturing such amazing moments on our big day!

We absolutely loved working with Jon! He has a clear vision and great eye for videography. Our planning meeting a few weeks before the wedding made me feel confident that Jon knew the flow of the day and would be able to capture every moment. Day of, Jon was so flexible as things changed and fell into the inevitable chaos of a wedding day! Our wedding video turned out beautifully and I love that we can relive all the best parts of our day with full audio and video -- our first look, the full Catholic Mass, all the speeches, and the dances. Jon's editing is amazing and he made our almost 2 hour video something we will cherish forever.

Jon Schulte Photography was everything you would want for a wedding photographer. We only needed them for a short time, for a small wedding, and he was able to accommodate and work with us on all of the details. Jon and team were very communicative, and you could tell they genuinely care about doing a good job on your special day. We had a few calls ahead of time for planning, multiple emails back and forth, and I never once worried about their capabilities to show up and do a good job. His employee Katie shot our wedding and she was simply wonderful. She even carried around a ladder on a 90 degree day through a park to ensure she got all of the perfect shots of us on our special day. We are not the most comfortable behind a camera but she did a wonderful job of "staging the scene" naturally and capturing some great moments. Would 10/10 recommend!

We found Jon Schulte on The Knot and fell in love with the visual aspect of his photography, so we booked him for our outdoor, country wedding in June. We can't say enough about how wonderful he and his assistant (Katie) were to work with. So flexible and easy-going. They did an amazing job of capturing both formal and candid photos that really portray the essence of my husband and I, as well as out families. I've only gotten the teaser so far, but have gotten so many compliments on the pictures. Thank you Jon (and Katie) for capturing our night so that we can remember it years from now :)

We used Jon for both our wedding photos and video. Despite the rainy weather conditions our pictures turned out great! Jon was very flexible and kept in constant communication with us throughout the entire process. The photos and video were incredible and captured our day perfectly. Jon was such a wonderful addition to our day. Leading up to our wedding, he was very organized and quick to respond to any questions we had. Day of, he was prompt, efficient, low maintenance and incredibly kind even when we got a bit behind our scheduled timeline. After our day, he delivered two beautiful films of our day that encapsulated every emotion completely and authentically. Truly everything we wanted and more. Jon and Tara were more than we could have hoped for! Not only are the photos AMAZING, but they were wonderful people and made the awkward experience of having our photos taken so much fun. Not to mention, they both went along with all of the weird ideas we came up with for photos and they both were so creative in adding in more ideas. The photos are beyond what we could have imagined, and we not only have a fantastic collection of images to remember our big day, but we have the great memories of the time we shared with them.

Jon did an amazing job on my wedding photos. I couldn’t be happier. His wife is his assistant and she did an awesome job as well. She made sure my hair was in place and my dress looked amazing in every photo. They make a great team. I’m from Columbus and Jon drove to Gahanna , OH to do my wedding and I’m so glad I found him on The Knot and fell in love with his photo style. He also got my photos back to me in such a timely manner. Couldn’t be happier!!! 10/10 and great customer service !

He was easy and friendly to work with and his creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail are exceptional. His prices are also extremely reasonable and helped us stay within our budget while still receiving high quality service. Jon was absolutely awesome. He shot our engagement session and our wedding. The pandemic moved our ceremony outside in 19° snowy weather, but Jon didn't complain at all and our wedding photos are stunning. Jon was absolutely fantastic. We had a brief phone conversation to map out our plan for the wedding and he had me gather some ideas that I liked and were realistic. I sent him about 10-15 ideas and he came beyond prepared with a printout of the poses he felt would look the best. I decided to pick the iPhone package because it’s 2020, why not!
