Jon Swift Photography

I used Jon Swift Photography for my wedding this past August. Jon is very professional and worked fairly close with my budget. We received our photos after the wedding in a timely manner and over 1600 photos. We had plenty to choose from. Some of the angles were hard to crop from my end but was able to ask Jon to fix them and they were adjusted. Thanks for being apart of our special day.

Jon was recommended to me by a family friend and I couldn't of been happier. From our first meeting to my wedding day everything went smoothly. He was so easy going and flexible with his wedding packages. When I said I didn't see the point in a engagement photos, he explained why they are beneficial and I am glad I listen. It was nice to be able to work with him before the big day and those photos turned out great. On the day both Jon and Jake were wonderful. They got great action photos without knowing they were there. They made us laugh and were so easy going. I was so excited to see my photos which were beautiful. I loved everyone of them. The hardest part was trying to take all those pictures and making it into a 75 photo album, which Jon was an email away to help me start that process. I should be getting the album any day which is so exciting. I would highly recommend him to any bride that is getting married.

Jon was amazing, from start to finish. He was more than accommodating in the planning process and made it so seamless for us the day of our wedding. My wedding party and guests kept telling me how fun Jon was and how comfortable he made them feel. I love all my pictures so much, but my most favorite ones are the "moment" shots. The pictures were ready within 2 weeks after the wedding...amazing! It was so exciting going through all the pictures and picking out the shots for our album. Brandon, Jon's assistant was equally great, quite a team! Their creativity was exceptional. I highly recommend Jon Swift, he's just fabulous!

I recently got married september 28th of 2013. As I was planning my special day my mother and I ran into Jon's wife at the mall got to talking about my wedding and she had said he did weddings so we met with him saw samples and was impressed with what I saw so I ended up going with him. One decision I do not regret absolutely LOVE my photos they came out great and the photographers were there for every moment! They really new what they were doing. I love pictures and this was a very important part for me and I am extremely happy with our photos! Also soon after my wedding I had gotten together with Jon for a Trash your Dress session I haven't seen them all yet but what I have seen I absolutely love he really knows what he is doing and loves what he does!! I highly recommend!!!!

Jon was absolutely wonderful to work with! He captured moments of our daughter that we never would have seen if not for the awesome pictures! Her wedding was outdoors and that can often be challenging, but Jon rose far above our expectations. He was professional and kind to everyone. I felt as though he was everywhere taking the pictures, but never obtrusive or in anyone's way. He wasn't pushy and had great suggestions. He also was very quick. Our picture-taking did not drag on and on while the guests waited and waited! I would highly recommend Jon to anyone in our area looking for a great photographer! Jon Swift Photography was recommended to me by a friend, and I owe her BIG time! We began with engagement pics a few months before the wedding. Jon picked the perfect area with many beautiful locations. He made us feel so comfortable - we were nervous at first, but before we knew it we were laughing and enjoying ourselves - and our pictures were FANTASTIC! My best friend even framed some of them and put them up for my bridal shower; everyone commented on what a great job he did. On the day of the wedding (in September 2012), Jon stayed with my bridal party and me while his assistant Brandon stayed with my (now) husband and the groomsmen. I was nervous and excited and overwhelmed, but Jon kept me calm and got me relaxed and laughing in no time. He captured some traditional poses as well as many candid/fun shots. Brandon did the same for the guys, and it was awesome to be able to see what the guys were up to while the girls were getting ready. During the ceremony, I never even saw Jon or Brandon, but they didn't miss a thing! They blended in and didn't get in anyone’s way, yet managed to capture every moment. When we went to take our wedding party/family pics, Jon and Brandon made sure that we got every shot we wanted, and came up with some creative ideas of their own as well. At the reception, they managed to get pictures of all of the guests and all of the important events (dances, cake cutting, etc) while again blending right into the crowd. Before I knew it, the most special day of my life so far was over, and boy was I (happily) amazed that within two weeks I had over 1500 pics to look at and relive every moment. I was also able to forward the link to my friends and family, and Jon even sent them all a letter with the link along with a printed picture. I could not have asked for anything else throughout the entire process. Jon helped us pick the perfect photo package, captured every moment, and truly made my day.

Jon and his assistant, Brandon did a fantastic job photographing our October wedding. Jon came to my parents house to take pictures of myself, and my bridesmaids early in the day so he could capture all the wedding craziness that we wouldn't want to forget. Meanwhile Brandon was with the groom and groomsmen while they were getting ready. It was wonderful to be able to see the photos of all the guys as they were getting dressed up, since I couldn't be there in person. The shots that they took were original and unique, making them one of a kind for our wedding. They took a lot of candid shots of the whole wedding/ reception, but also posed pictures, and group photos of all the guests at each table. Which was a great idea, since the whole day/night was a blur. I would absolutely recommend Jon Swift Photography to anyone who needs professional photos done. He does an amazing job in setting up the shots, and telling you exactly what will make the shot better. He is very nice to work with, incredibly professional and stayed focused the entire time, ensuring that we would have the best pictures possible. We ended up with 2 parent albums, an album for ourselves, and a canvas with a wedding photo of our choosing to hang in our house. Not to mention the disc with about 2000 photos to remember our wedding day. All in all, you couldn't ask for a better photographer on your special day :)

Jon did the photography for our October wedding and we are very happy with our pictures. He was very easy to work with and made things very comfortable for us. He made sure we had the traditional family poses but also encouraged us to have fun with the pictures and those are some of our favorite shots. He had the pictures online quickly for everyone to see and review and we had our albums and disks in hand in just a couple of months. I have a friend who got married months before us and still didn't have her pics when we had ours. When people talk about our wedding they mention Jon and how he was a fun part of the day as well. Our package included an engagement shoot with a free 8X10 and the photo, two parent albums, an album for us, and 8X10 prints for us and our parents. He even sent everyone in the wedding a free photo. We very much recomend him!

I was so lucky to have found Jon. We easily picked him out from all our interviews. I wanted a photographer I felt comfortable with, since they get so up close and personal with you, and you spend so much time together. I wanted someone I could laugh around, so the pictures would be more genuine and not that fake smile look. And of course, I wanted a really good photographer. I was instantly impressed with his photos, and my whole family got along with him and his partners personality. We liked them so much, we referred them to three others in our families who were getting married, and they all used him as well. Not only did my family like him, but my very large bridal party liked him as well. We all had fun taking pictures. Our engagement photo shoot went great as well, he had the perfect place to go to and was very patient with our dog that we brought, and my mom! We later went back to him for pregnancy pictures, then soon after, infant pictures. Our only problem was we liked too many of the pictures and had too hard of a time deciding which ones to blow up! I highly recommend him.

My husband and I feel very fortunate to have had Jon Swift Photography photograph our wedding. Our engagement photos were beautiful...best we've ever taken.
