I'm going to honest: I am a VERY picky person. Just when I thought I was going to give up on my videographer search, I stumbled across Jonah's content. I am obsessed with how all his videos feel cinematic and like I could watch them over & over. The videos feel very special and unique to the featured couple. Jonah was so easy to work with, and having him around on our wedding day felt like we were working with a good friend. We were lucky to have him TWICE since we had a second wedding reception in Europe! He is our only vendor who followed us to another country, and we feel so grateful that Jonah was open to doing this dual-wedding experience with us. If anybody is on the fence about getting a videographer for their wedding, this is your sign that you should get one. and more importantly, get Jonah. He is the real deal!

I specialize in capturing raw, real moments with cinematic camera movement and style. I think every couple deserves a wedding video that stands out from the rest! And showcasing your unique love story is the foundation to every video I create. I started out as freelance director/cinematographer and transitioned into wedding films 5 years ago. So I naturally was drawn to creating wedding films in a cinematic style. I create videos that truly stand out from the rest. I love shooting weddings and being a part of so many couples' big day, being able to help make something that they’re not only proud of to watch but excited to share. I bring a creative outlook and high level of experience to every wedding I have the honor of shooting! And don't worry, I know most people aren't comfortable in front of a camera, most of us are everyday people and not models, so I got you. I also take pride in my job to create a comfortable, encouraging and stress free space to naturally draw out those authentic emotions. Capturing the things that make you guys you, can't happen without feeling comfortable enough to let me in to see that, so trust and compatibility is also so important in choosing a videographer or photographer. As far as my presence throughout the day, I'm super down to earth and will most likely help move things around, hold the dress, fix the tie and check in with you guys to make sure you're good. I recognize that you invite me in to capture a very special and intimate day and I'll honor that by creating a natural, feel-good environment and wedding video that lives up to the expectations. A little intro to me, I'm an enneagram 4 wing 3 if you're into that stuff, I have ADHD (which I manage super well) and I'm in love with filmmaking from start to finish. In my free time you can find me enjoying film photography, a good americano, paying too much for thrifted clothes and constantly working on a motorcycle. I knew making films was what I wanted to do from a very young age when I picked up my first camera at 13 years old. Now at 28, this is what I do full time and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I am 100% self taught and didn't go to school for video. Anyways, that's me!

He went above and behind what we could have ever imagined. From the very first conversation , to the big day and even after —- his service was top tier! Absolutely one of the best choices we made in our entire process. Jonah captured our day so perfectly & his customer service and ability to listen to you while truly bringing to life what you and your partner envisioned is remarkable. We allowed him to explore his amazing creative eye and freedom & he truly made a beyond beautiful video that we now have for years to come. If you have any hesitation, please don’t. He’s super friendly ,professional, great at communication — plus he’s funny and has the ability to make you feel super comfortable on your wedding day. He captured moments we , the bride and groom , didn’t even know happen . We laughed and cried looking back at the video, but could still feel the love and excitement from the day, months later. He caught some of the most subtle yet telling moments from our day and perfectly curated a film that captured the essence of not only our relationship, but also those of our family, friends, and support system. Jonah captured our joy so beautifully--something we're sure we'll only appreciate more with time. Also, Jonah is fantastic at filming unobtrusively--we didn't even notice his cameras during our ceremony and yet he caught the most perfect angles! If you want a wedding videographer who you wish was your friend in ordinary life, Jonah is the right choice. We cannot recommend Jonah Paulhamus Media enough!

way by the love we feel watching it. I’ve received compliment after compliment about how beautiful it is and how it brought them to tears 2 minutes in. It was EXACTLY what I wanted in a wedding video. Cinematic, dramatic, well executed, and just overall amazing. Jonah is kind, flexible, fun, easy going and professional. He worked seamlessly with our photographer, who is family, making for a potential awkward situation. It wasn’t at all! He fit right in, got almost all of his shots while we were taking pictures so we didn’t need to spend extra time away from friends and family. I wish I could post my video on this review, but I will send it to you personally if you would like to see the amazing quality work Jonah does.

e planning process. Having to postpone our big day due to Covid Jonah worked with us and made sure we would still get the day we wanted. He set up FaceTime chats, phone calls, and texts to make sure he knew exactly what we were envisioning. We only knew of a few certain things we wanted captured, I was confident in allowing Jonah to do his thing. I never doubted the outcome because of the professionalism that Jonah portrays. Booking Jonah as our Videographer was hands down the absolute best part about our wedding. We will forever have this to look back at and re-live the best day of our lives. happier that we did! We love the video so much and Jonah made the experience of making it easy and enjoyable from the conversations prior, to the day itself. Jonah integrated himself seamlessly into the day with our photographers and most of the time we never even realized he was there just capturing all our special moments in a very unobtrusive way. He was also willing to go along with our plan to climb over our venue's railing and down into the waterfalls so he gets bonus points for adventuring and agility! When we got our video back I made a request to add a clip from one portion of our ceremony that hadn't made it in to the video and Jonah was happy to make the adjustment, saying he wanted it to be perfect for us, and had the new version back to us within hours. Now we wouldn't change a thing and are so grateful to Jonah for all his hard work! We really can't recommend him enough!

st seem really staged & unnatural. We decided that if we went with a videographer, we wanted a video that really captured the special moments and emotions of the day. The small details and the feelings without coming off as cheesy/phony. I came across Jonah's Instagram page and saw that he had a few wedding video clips. That lead me to his YouTube channel where I was able to view some of his full length wedding videos. I was immediately blown away. His filmography style was unlike anything I had ever seen before. I knew at that moment I wanted to book him and my husband and I couldn't be happier that we did. Jonah was extremely responsive, flexible and SO reasonable with pricing. We were able to video chat with him prior to our wedding day so we could go over our likes/dislikes and what we were looking for as far as style, music etc. We decided to give Jonah full creative range as we felt that would result in the best possible video. The day of our wedding, Jonah had a smile on his face from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. He never once became stressed or lost his extremely positive and outgoing attitude. His energy was so calming and reassuring, because as you can imagine, the day of your wedding can get a little hectic. My husband and I felt so comfortable around him. When we got our wedding video back, we were blown away. It was perfect. If you are unsure whether or not to book with Jonah, trust me when I tell you that you will NOT regret it!
