Correspondence and meetings were always organized and they accommodated our requests with kindness and no judgment. On the day of the wedding, Jonas and Mary were efficient and made sure they got every shot we requested as well as more shots, and did this all while being “behind the scenes” and we never felt rushed or like we had to change anything to accommodate Jonas and Mary. The photos themselves blew us away. Jonas consistently updated us with when we could expect our photos and we got them back so fast! Every step of the way we were met with professionalism, kindness, and talent. We would 100000% recommend Jonas Seaman photography for anyone who wants a beautifully captured, calm and professional photography experience.

When my fiancée and I bumped into Jonas Seaman’s booth at the Seattle Wedding Show, we were blown away by the photos. It was apparent by looking at his portfolio of photos that Jonas is not just a photographer, but a true artist. He has a passionate and playful creative instinct when he shoots, and experiments and improvises like any great artist. Because I have worked with hundreds of wedding photographers, I have learned to grade wedding photographers by their dance floor photos. Rhythmically jumping and gyrating sweaty, bodies and faces in a mix of darkness and multi colored LED light is a difficult subject to capture and Jonas’s dance floor photos were unlike any other dance floor photos that I have seen. His photos really capture the kinetic and emotional moments and life on the dance floor. They convey the blur of humanity and love that you feel when dancing at a wedding. We knew from those few photos that Jonas and Mary were destined to be our photographers. Jonas and Mary were ideal to work with in person and they bring the perfect presence you want at your wedding. It’s a pleasure to have a married couple work with you and photograph your wedding. When we saw the final photos from our wedding we were in awe. Every one of the photos posses the ineffable visual and emotional aesthetic quality that could warrant it hanging in a museum or being featured in an art book. Jonas and Mary have a deep knowledge and understanding of light, color, form, framing, and its dance and interplay with the human subjects, and conveyance of emotion. The photographs they deliver capture and convey pure joy and the essence of the humanity and love at your wedding. I think he somehow managed to photograph all one hundred guests and every one of those photos are beautiful and posses a quality that you rarely see in an iPhone snapshot. Jonas and Mary were also able to capture so many special moments, and moments that we weren’t even aware they were capturing, but so grateful they did. They are skilled at identifying subtle facial expressions and body language. Every guest has a great photo of themselves. I don’t understand how he does it or pulled that off. Their selection and curation seems to be a mystical art and Jonas has an uncanny artist and aesthetic eye. Jonas’s methodology is mysterious, but the photos that he delivers will move you and make you cry.

o capture unique and candid moments. Leading up to the big day, we felt very taken care of thanks to Jonas’ organized approach and the time he spent getting to know us as a couple. On our wedding day, he put us at ease and it made for such a fun experience – from shooting in our hotel room, wandering around Seattle and highlighting the unique aspects in and around our venue. They even offered to drive us to the venue from our hotel! Overall, we feel incredibly lucky to have had Jonas and Mary as our photographers. Our photos from the day capture both the big and small moments and details with a unique perspective that really tells the full story. 10/10, would recommend!

. After doing a ton of research, we came across a Reddit thread with raving reviews of Jonas' work. After taking a look at his website/blog, we knew instantly that he was the one! We met up with him at a cafe in person and really connected with him. He was the first photographer that we met and decided to book him right on the spot. Jonas did a fantastic job on our engagement and wedding photos. Jonas and Mary especially shined on our wedding day. They made sure to catch every moment possible and our guests were extremely impressed! The great experience didn't stop there- Jonas let us know that photos would be ready between 6-8 weeks, but he gave us sneak peaks 4 weeks after the wedding and delivered the full gallery 5 weeks later. I HIGHLY recommend Jonas if you are looking for someone who not only does excellent work, but is reliable and has great communication.

graphed my sister's wedding in 2014. Due to the pandemic, our wedding plans went through many changes and Jonas and Mary were patient and helpful throughout the whole process. Since we didn't have many guests present, Jonas and Mary made extra time in the schedule for photos of the two of us after the ceremony and into the sunset hour. They scouted everything in advance and we spent 2 hours in two locations capturing amazing photos. The best part is that it didn't feel like we were on a photo shoot. Nothing was forced - everything felt completely natural. It was intimate time that my husband and I spent together, on our wedding day, just enjoying each other's company and basking in our joy. Most couples don't get to spend that quality time together on their wedding day and despite the unfortunate circumstances of the pandemic, our day turned out better than I could have imagined and that is largely thanks to Jonas and Mary. Not only do I have photos I will always treasure, but I have the memory of being present, with my husband, celebrating our love and commitment. I wouldn't think twice about hiring Jonas and Mary again.

ty seemed like they would be good enough, but they were all missing a certain artistic/magic feel that I have appreciated in images since I was young. It was hard to put my finger on what I was looking for, but when I saw Jonas' creations I knew I had found it. The weather for our engagement shoot was less-than-stellar, but Jonas was able to turn bad weather into a complete blessing. The angles, the lighting, his creativity, all came together to give us the most INCREDIBLE engagement photos. When the big day finally came, I could just tell we made the best choice possible. His involvement was on another level, and every time that I thought "wow, this exact moment is something special", he was RIGHT THERE capturing it. Every. Single. Time. He and Mary are a true power duo, and work together to express our shared vision of the big day. They were both extremely professional, but we also instantly felt like they were some of our dearest friends. . Which is, in itself, just amazing. But they're also just crazy-nice people. I can't express what a comfort it was to have these folks there on the day of my wedding. The prep work Jonas did to get a schedule planned out for the wedding day helped keep things running smoothly. Everyone who was there raved about how lovely Jonas and Mary were, and everyone who has seen the photos since has, basically, not shut up about how beautiful they are. And they're RIGHT. The work we put into making that day special and fun and exciting for our friends and family, and for ourselves, is documented so beautifully. The emotion of the day is captured so beautifully. And now we get to keep these beautiful photos forever. Truly the best choice we made for our wedding was to get these folks involved.

Highlights: He helped us shape our timeline, which became a major cornerstone for me to refer to when sending out time estimates to the venue and other vendors. Jonas responded promptly and very nicely when, a week before the wedding, I freaked out about rain and sent him a long run-on sentence email. During the actual wedding, he was ninja good at being everywhere (including the dance floor) and taking what turned out to be amazing candids! The resulting photos were amazing. My husband in particular was touched by a couple of photos wherein he said he "looked incredibly happy, feeling surrounded by love." High praise!

eventually fades from memory or falls apart. So, we began sifting through a myriad of Florida’s top-rated wedding photographers, failing to make a real connection with any of them. Now, I do not remember the exact Internet search criteria that allowed me to find Jonas, but I have thanked the gods every day since. Jonas had the style I was looking for; honestly, I did not know what style I was looking for at the time. I am not in a creative industry, nor am I well-versed in weddings. Regardless, I instantly e-mailed my fiancé (now wife) a link to Jonas’s portfolio, americanvirus, along with something to the effect of “this is our photographer!!” Unsurprisingly, she concurred. Without disclosing his techniques, Jonas was excellent with communication and scheduling, which was terrific because he lives 3 time zones and 3,100 miles away. Jonas outlined our wedding day in advance, which would later save us a lot of time, stress and confusion. He was punctual, and his second shooter (first everything else), Mary, was equally amazing. They were both professional and prepared. I cannot say for sure, but I feel like they each wore Batman utility belts, loaded with spare batteries and memory cards. Seriously, they did not miss a thing. They were also really great at staging and directing our family and wedding party, who are not nearly the tamest of cats. On your wedding day, you will be in a bubble. A lot of great things will happen, unbeknownst to you, and you will be blessed if your photographer captures those scenes. After our wedding album arrived, we relived all of our favorite moments, and were elated to experience several new ones. Jonas & Mary were the ultimate stewards of our wedding photography, and contracting them was best decision we made in planning. Lastly, we severely regret not getting a photo with two of them, which is a tragedy because they are so good. That's life though. We never got to see Prince, and we didn't take a picture with Jonas.

With the rain pouring down the morning of our wedding day, Jonas was flexible and relaxed. This helped both me and my wife Erica relax and embrace the day. As the pro he is, Jonas had back-up plans in place based on the weather forecast so there was a smooth transition from Plan A to Plan B. We had about 170 people celebrating with us and Jonas and Mary were EVERYWHERE! Turn a corner... Jonas getting a candid. Look out to the dance floor... Jonas all over the place capturing the party vibe with ninja-like skills. After the wedding we had a feeling the photos were going to be really special, but our expectations were blown away when we received them. The the emotion, love and laughter he was able to capture was stunning. We will cherish our prints (and digital files) forever! For anyone who's looking for that perfect balance of beautiful portraits and candid captures, coupled with an artistic eye and modern stylings... you've found your photographer.

l. My review has more to do with the experience. My fiancee and I are very camera shy, awkward people, so I was really worried about the photography aspect of the wedding. However, I couldn't have chosen a more comfortable, laid-back, yet professional pair than Jonas and his second shooter, Mary. They were amazing. Their presence made my wedding even more fun -- they joined in the dancing at one point, which I loved! So many of my guests have told me how much they loved Jonas, and I highly recommend splurging for the experience and the unforgettable photos that come with it. One perk: Jonas and Mary's price covered 10 hours of shooting...not just the ceremony and part of the reception, but the entirety of my wedding. Love them!
