Jonathon was awesome from day one. A very laid-back and chill energy made planning with him feel non-anxious. He made us feel like he had everything under control and that he knew ...
when to accommodate us and when he could use his knowledge to make sure everyone had a great time.
In the pre-ceremony, he mixed it up between some pre-selected songs I chose and played some live. I am a musician, so many of our family and friends that were in attendance are all musicians and singers. They all immediately were drawn to his smooth voice and incredible playing.
The ceremony went great and had minimal to no tech issues, the sound was clear, he helped us incorporate our musician friends to play a song during the ceremony.
He played our First Dance song live, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did a small choreographed dance to Love Like This by Ben Rector. His voice was perfect, and I was able to send him an edited version of the song that matched with our dance. He played it flawlessly and the moment was special for my wife and I, and for our guests.
During the dinner, he played an acoustic set consisting of covers of 90s-2000s R&B songs, which were a huge hit with us and our guests. He played with a loop pedal and was able to simulate a full band with just his guitar and voice! He had some moving and grooving, singing along during dinner, while others were still able to hold a conversation without distraction.
I gave him many songs to include in the dance portion of the night. And while he included MANY of my suggestions, he also knew when to throw in some crowd favorites to keep the party going. The dance floor was PACKED all night, the transitions between each song where seamless, and it became a fun game for my and my friends to try and guess what song he was cueing up next!
My wife and I loved every musical moment of the evening, and it was exactly what we dreamed of for that day. All of our guests loved the music, and were so impressed not just with his professionalism and on stage banter with the crowd, but his musicality and rich voice.
I have worked as a wedding musician for a few years, and as a gigging musician and singer for much longer. I have always feared that I would spend my wedding day judging the Wedding Band/DJ because of my high standards for live music. Jonathan blew every single one of those expectations out of the water, and he was such a breath of fresh air during a stressful period of wedding planning.
I cannot recommend Jonathan Blake Salazar any more for your wedding. He is a dream to work with, and will do an incredible job performing, Emceeing, and DJing your special day!

Jonathan was our MC and DJ for our wedding in October 2025 and I cannot recommend him enough! It took one phone call and he completely understood the vibe we were going for and was...
genuinely excited to be a part of our day. He worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, Victoria with thatBliss, and I had zero hesitations going into the big day. I knew we were in good hands.
Jonathan was extremely professional while MCing our wedding. He made all the appropriate announcements and kept the celebration flowing smoothly all night. With his clear, strong voice, relatable personality, and attention to detail, you cannot go wrong with Jonathan as the host of your big day!
Jonathan is also an extremely talented artist. He performed live during cocktail hour and during dinner, and I had so many guests commenting on how much they enjoyed the live music. It was such a fun and unique addition. It really elevated the experience for everyone.
Once the dancing kicked off, Jonathan absolutely nailed it. He seamlessly wove his go to dance tracks with our specially requested songs and made the dance floor the place to be. Our dance floor was open for about four hours including the after party, and Jonathan made sure to keep the energy high!
We all had the best night and three months later, our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had. I owe a big part of this to Jonathan. We cannot thank you enough!!
DJ JONATHAN CRUSHED IT!! He was the most amazing MC, live musician, and DJ during our wedding! Everyone kept coming up to us during the wedding asking how we found him! Highly reco...
mmend! He does it all! We couldn’t be more thrilled with him and all he did for our wedding!
Our wedding was over a month ago and we are still getting guests reaching out about how amazing Jonathan was! During the planning phase he was responsive, asked all the right quest...
ions and ensured we felt comfortable with our music plan for the day. But we were so underprepared for the level of amazing he was about to bring to our wedding! Jonathan sang for our ceremony and did a special throwback acoustic set during dinner hour. He then had our dance floor packed all night. The vibes were impeccable. We had people standing up during dinner to dance by their table because they just couldn’t fight it. He MC’d everything seamlessly. It was absolute perfection and we all had THE best time, largely due to Jonathan and the energy he brought to the party! Do not hesitate to book him for your wedding - you and your guests will not be disappointed!!
Jonathan is amazing!!! He sang and played about guitar, DJ’d and MC’d our wedding ceremony and reception and he was absolutely wonderful!! He sang and played guitar at the ceremony...
and kept all of my guests entertained while we were having shuttle bus issues. He is very communicative and executed all of our special requests perfectly!!! He made our wedding day so unbelievably magical and we had the best time dancing the night away!! I would 1000% refer him to everyone and will be using him for all of our events in the future!!
We hired Jonathan through another musician who wasn’t available on our wedding date. He performed acoustically for our ceremony and was the live music and DJ for the reception. He ...
was a lot of fun and our guests enjoyed having him perform. He is incredibly talented. We did have a small mix up on names for the Best Man, unfortunately. It seems it’s best to provide updated timelines via text to him and not via email, so just a small detail to note.
DJ, MC, singer songwriter, professional vibe setter— Jonathan is the FULL package, and that’s no exaggeration. He set exactly the tone we were seeking for our big day. A true profe...
ssional and a real gentleman, Jonathan was such a pleasure to collaborate with on the vision we had— and executed even better than we could have imagined on our wedding day! He got a sense of the vibe we were seeking, and handled the rest. He read our crowd just right all night, had everyone grooving and body rolling with the covers he performed during dinner, and kept the dance floor very much live all the way through the very last song. Before the night was even done, our guests were asking for his info —everyone was blown away by his talent, and we are still referring him to folks weeks later! We’re so grateful to have met Jonathan and Sammee thru this process and we would work with him again in a heartbeat.
Jonathan is more than just a talented singer & musician, he is the detail that will set your wedding apart. His acoustic sets are incredible… from Led Zeppelin as I walked down the...
aisle to his covers of our requested R&B/hip hop dinner hour, his ability to make classic songs and party songs just as special and memorable as your big day is his real talent. He also doubled as our DJ when the party started and made sure the vibe was always on point. Jonathan will forever be one of the most stand out parts of our wedding, we’re grateful for the magical tone he set!
Oh. My. God. My then-fiancé and I saw Jonathan a year prior at my best friends wedding and were so beyond impressed we knew we had to have him perform at our own wedding. Truly! My...
fiancé, when he first heard him playing, thought he was listening to a very very crisp professional recording and not a live performer. I can not overstate how good Jonathan is at singing and performing. Just wow, he will be famous one day.
As a performer at a wedding though, I believe it takes more than just talent to make the day perfect, and Jonathan carried the entire wedding flawlessly as both the entertainment and the MC of the evening, learning live renditions of our chosen songs for our ceremony, entertaining our guests with his AMAZING combination of r&b, rap, pop, country, and everything in between during cocktail hour and reception. During the dancing portion of the night he played hit after hit, keeping our dance floor electric and forever full. He’s an incredible guy, an amazing performer, and your guests will be so impressed. If you made it to the end of this review, book a call with Jonathan! You truly won’t regret it, he’s the best vendor decision we made for our wedding.
As a bride who did all of my vendor sourcing and communication myself, I have to say Johnathan and his team were the easiest to work with. He was very organized in planning for all...
of our music needs at our wedding and was helpful in suggesting the best timing for live vs recorded music. I felt confident in his team's prompt and clear communication throughout the preparation process. On the wedding day, he showed up early, had equipment prepared and set up for our ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces. He learned and performed my favorite song for my walk down the aisle which was a very emotional and special touch for myself and my husband. Everyone also loved his live set during dinner and he kept the dance floor rocking into the evening with his DJ set. He even graciously MCed the shoe game for us during the reception...it was a hit! Highly recommend!!!!!

antly easy and effortless to choose him. He was so kind and easy to chat with on our initial call meeting him and after listening to his music we knew how lucky we were to have found him. Jonathan played beautiful live guitar for our ceremony and absolutely provided such a joyful and romantic setting for the ceremony. He had us make a playlist of music we were excited about for the DJ portion for dancing and then took that playlist and used it to give us such a fun dance floor! Everyone has told us how amazing he was. Where he really gets to shine is his live performance during the dinner hour. Jonathan is so talented and had people dancing and ready for party before they had been to the buffet. I think every single person has remarked on his acoustic performance of “yeah” by usher and said it was incredible. He is someone who thinks of every detail, all the small things like adjust the mic height for the different people for speeches and giving special shout outs to grandparents. He moves people through the night as an MC so seamlessly and effortlessly and sets an amazing tone. He is the absolute best. Thank you Jonathan, we adore you!
Jonathan was a pleasure to work with. He has an infectious positivity and brings a whole lot of joy to the musical aspect of the wedding. He played the guitar and sang a special so...
ng as my wife walked down the aisle, he knocked it out of the park. At the reception he did an amazing job as a DJ and MC. He even remixed and sang some throwbacks that got the party going. We cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough.

nd he was absolutely incredible and sounded better than any recorded versions of those songs. He then played and sang during the dinner portion, making this usually boring part of weddings soooo fun and entertaining! He sang our first dance song more beautifully than I could have imagined! He then DJ’d during the dancing portion and absolutely CRUSHED. Our dance floor was packed the entire time, I couldn’t even find a time to use the bathroom because he was playing bop after bop and no one wanted to leave! Our guests even chanted “one more song” after the final song and Jonathan politely obliged. Book Jonathan RIGHT NOW for your wedding or event, you will not regret it!!!!!!

g I was walking down the aisle too, which he did perfectly! Everything was so amazing, but I have to say that the dinner hour was AMAZING. He left all our guests wanting more and talking about him all night. 10000000% recommend!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Jonathan Blake Salazar as our DJ/singer for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the initial consultation ...
to the last dance of the night, Jonathan exceeded all of our expectations.
He worked closely with us to create a customized playlist that perfectly matched our preferences and the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. The energy on the dance floor was high ALL night long.
What truly set Jonathan apart was his ability to not only DJ but to sing as well. He performed during our ceremony and during the dinner hour. Our guests were absolutely blown away by his voice and the wide range of songs he was able to perform perfectly.
He knew how to read the crowd and keep everyone engaged and on the dance floor all night. He knew when to slow things down for romantic moments and when to ramp up the energy for those unforgettable dance-offs.
The sound quality and lighting setup were top-notch, creating a captivating atmosphere that added to the overall perfectness of the night. Our guests have not stopped raving about the music and the entertainment provided by Jonathan. He definitely made our special day even more unforgettable.
In short, Jonathan is a true professional and a master of his craft. If you're looking for a wedding DJ who will make your celebration unforgettable, book him IMMEDIATELY. We can't thank him enough for the incredible job that he did.
Is there a way to give ten stars? As a professional in the event industry for over thirteen years, planning my wedding was no easy feat. Surprisingly, I had not made many entertain...
ment connections, so I asked another friend in the industry for a recommendation, and they immediately mentioned Jonathan. I trusted this "friendor" of mine, so I did not think twice before I reached out to confirm his availability. From the initial contact, Jonathan was attentive, professional and SO SO KIND! Fast forward to the wedding. He showed up on time and was ready to rock! My wedding had a little curve ball in there as my little sister performed a song with my dad playing guitar. Jonathan learned the specific song for our wedding, and there was not a dry eye; it was fantastic! Jonathan's voice is killer! His ability as a DJ to read the crowd and give them exactly what they want is impeccable. You are literally missing out if you do not hire him, cannot say enough great things!
He is amazing...he is so professional, kind, easy to work with. His own music is amazing and he made our night magical with a blend of DJ and solo artist. Highly recommend Jonath...

his awesome review. We are NOT related. He was amazing! His list of cover songs, especially the Hip-hop and R&B covers were such a hit with our guests. I cannot say enough great things about him and how great he was! If you’re considering him…Hire him!! You won’t regret it!!

med Invisible String for my ceremony and allowed us to select to new songs that weren't on his comprehensive list. My guests were obsessed with his performance during our dinner hour and my planner said it was the first time she had guests ask for an encore during dinner! He also kept the dance floor going all night long. 10/10 would recommend.
Jonathan is unbelievably talented. We are so happy he was able to perform at our wedding and we highly recommend him!!!
I booked Jonathan to DJ, play guitar and sing live at our wedding at Tivoli Italian Villa in Fallbrook, CA . I booked him through Kevin Miso as Kevin was one of the venue's preferr...
ed vendors. (We had to pick off their list.) I didn't like being limited on DJ's on their list but finding Jonathan through Kevin turned out to be a diamond in the rough!
We worked with Jonathan two weeks before the wedding to pick out all our songs via a Google survey. We also had a call with him to go over our vibe and wishes for the night. He was accommodating with our requests and was willing to learn a couple new songs to play for our ceremony, which I really appreciated.
Day of the event Jonathan was on time, prepared and we had zero issues with the music and microphones. He didn't put up a fuss when my 2-year-old stole the mic during toasts and had fun yelling into it. Jonathan also graciously worked with our wedding MC to take turns making announcements and coordinating events.
But the best part...were our guest reactions! We had lots of comments about how wonderful his singing was during dinner. We had fan girls taking videos! We're still getting comments from friends about how talented he was. Jonathan was memorable and unique. And that's exactly what we wanted.

g and playing guitar during our ceremony and the dinner reception has been the talk of our wedding and a part of the night we’ll never forget. If any soon-to-be-married couple is looking for a DJ to ensure that their event is a success, please do yourselves a favor and get Jonathan to do it. Seriously, this guy is amazing.

d and I looked up during salad service and every single person was singing along and/or out of their seats dancing already! The amount of meals that went cold because people couldn’t NOT get up and dance to Jonathan mid-meal says it all. If you’re looking for the best, look no further. Hire him only if you want the best performance to compliment your best day ever!
We had our wedding on the beach in the San Diego area, and were given strict guidelines on our music selection by the venue. We were introduced to Jonathan through another musicia...
n, and we can't say enough great things about him and his amazing voice. The area of beach we choose is surrounded by a hotel, and of course guests were intrigued by our wedding and ceremony being on the beach so many of them were also hanging out watching and listening.
Once cocktail hour began, so did Jonathan's singing. He has an eclectic array of music that kept invited guest as well as hotel guests dancing and singing. During dinner he sang songs by The Beatles, Sublime, Warren G and even Snoop Dogg. Our guests kept coming up to us asking where we found Jonathan. His fun, but chill vibes mixed with his voice kept everyone entertained throughout the night.
If you every need a fantastic musician/DJ, someone who will work around your schedule, be flexible, know how to read a crowd with proper music selection, make Jonathan Blake Salazar your first call!

get a sense for his sound (think JT vibes!) I was so excited when I found out he was available! Sadly he injured his hand and couldn’t play guitar but Jonathan had a friend come who ended up having an incredible voice too! pping all night and we are still receiving compliments on how great the music during the ceremony and dinner was from guests. Jonathan had great situational awareness in reading the crowd and playing music that matched the mood of the dance floor.
Jonathan set a great tone for the evening and we couldn't be more stoked that we picked him to be our musician. 10/10 would recommend his service to anyone and everyone.

l how much he genuinely cared about our event and making it as special as possible. All communication was totally stress-free. He has such a wide variety of songs that he can play and matched our vibe perfectly! All of our guests absolutely loved him and are wanting to book him for their upcoming events, I can honestly say that our event wouldn’t have been the same without Jonathan. It is hard to even describe his level of talent and the overall feeling you get when listening to him play. My husband keeps joking that he is trying to find any possible event or party for us to throw so we can work with Jonathan again and enjoy his music! He was such a memorable part of our night and we are so lucky he was able to play for us.
Fantastic musical artist that my entire wedding loved and complimented! Super easy to work with and great mix of musical/DJ talent.

our ocean side wedding. Then we found Jonathan! Truly amazing. His style, incredible voice, & song recommendations were all amazing for us! Our guests asked me several times all night where we found him. He was our MC, sang during our procession, and pulled out the most fun music for our dance floor. If you want a more current vibe, and true professional, and someone who guest will continue to talk about, he’s your guy! It’s also worth noting that he learned my favorite song and sang it so beautifully! 5-stars all the way.
A 5 star review does not give enough praise for how amazing Jonathan is! Jonathan played at our wedding in April, and 4 months later, we still have guests contacting us asking for...
his information. From the start, Jonathan was open to what we envisioned for our wedding day, and was very professional in suggestions. When I couldn't figure out which edition of "I Can't Help Falling in Love" to walk down the aisle to, he humbly offered his new version that he had just recorded. Let me tell you... if you are thinking of using that song- USE HIS VERSION!!! It's incredible. Jonathan asked if I was comfortable with him feeling out the crowd and choosing the playlist for cocktail hour + dinner hour, and I am so happy he did. He knew exactly what to play from the start. As a bride, I tried to soak in every moment- & one of my favorite moments was watching our family and friends have so much fun interacting with Jonathan during the dinner hour. I would recommend Jonathan for any wedding or event where you want your guests to have fun and enjoy! Thank you for making our wedding day perfect, Jonathan!!
We can't say enough about Jonathan and his talent. We were fortunate to have him play for one of our baby showers and an industry event a couple weeks ago. The guest were blown awa...
y by his voice and performance. He not only played some of our favorites of the 90's and 2000's he also sang some orginal songs for us! I cant recommend this guy enough!! So if youre looking for live entertainment for any type of event, please look no further! You will not be disappointed!!!
