th stunning photos that you would have never even thought to take. Jonathan doesn't just show up and snap some pics. He truly cares about, and has a gift for, capturing those perfect moments and all of the emotion and personality contained within. He also has an amazing ability to put you at ease if you tend to be camera shy (like me). We were so grateful to have been able to book him for our wedding. If you are able to snag him for yours, you will be so so happy that you did. Brilliant photographer and amazing human. - J&J

e taking pictures so easy and natural for someone who has never been great at that. He was excited to be there and obviously loved his job, which made the day even more fun. Everyone at the wedding was complimenting him. I was nervous about the photography at my wedding since the lighting was a little moody and in a grand space, but jonathan captured everything perfectly and worked with the space to show me some of the most gorgeous pictures I have ever seen. He truly captured my husband and I and the space we were in. The preview pictures were fabulous, and I can’t wait to get the rest of our pictures back as I know they will be beautiful. Thank you so much Jonathan!!
Jonathan and his team immediately made us feel so relaxed and excited to get our weekend going! We never felt rushed, stiff, or obliged to take a single photo. Jonathan gave us, ou...
r wedding party, and all of our wedding guests such great energy that it was impossible not to return! We have been loving looking back at these photos and reliving the hilarious memories and also discovering fun moments from our guests' perspectives. Jonathan would scope out a scene and put together an amazing photoshoot. There were many times that we forgot that we were taking pictures because we were having so much fun! We highly recommend Jonathan Hare Photography to make AND capture your special memories!

ity, effort, and hard work. These are the best photos my husband and I have ever seen. He was so patient with us. Amazing with kids too. Words can’t describe how amazing this photographer is. 12/10 recommend. He made our wedding so special, we are blessed he was a part of it. He even showed us a preview at dinner! Everyone at our wedding spoke so highly of him and his team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Jonathan!

ate and even made the flower girl feel included by letting her be his assistant for part of the day.
The pictures turned out amazing! By dinner, he had already edited about 25 photos to show us as a preview. He then sent the rest of the photos (over 800!) within a week! We are so happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone who wants an easy-going and creative photographer.

dible moments is incredible. He put us at ease, which can be difficult on a wedding day because all eyes are on you. He also coordinated with our wedding planner and videographer on an appropriate timeline for the day to make sure that all of the special moments we wanted were captured. Jonathan even put together an initial slideshow for my husband and I to watch during dinner at our reception so that we could get a sneak peek of all the magical photos he had taken - Because he’s literally just that awesome. Jonathan also did our engagement photos as a part of our wedding package. We all traveled to Saint Augustine and took amazing photos around the fort and in the lighthouse. They’re simply stunning. And honestly, we just vibed so well with him from the start. It felt more like we were working with a good friend than anything else. What’s more - Jonathan’s talent was so apparent that all of my wedding guests who are having weddings in the coming years are also planning to hire him! He’s simply the best.

uence you, your wedding party, and your wedding guests, to be free and happy in front of the lens. The photos Jonathan took were amazing, but a lot of wedding photographers take amazing photos. Jonathan truly loves his job and is so natural in bringing the best out of people he’s around. It’s a remarkable quality he has that is perfect for the important role he plays in your big day. On top of all that, he’s so creative and has such an amazing eye to capture unique moments you’ll remember forever through his photos. We absolutely LOVE the photos he took.
His commitment to his clients is another thing that is just mind blowing. Our wedding was in Boston in February. With a foot of snow falling on Friday, cancelled flights and chaos ensued from Thursday evening to Saturday morning. Jonathan scrambled so hard, I believe had 6 flights booked and cancelled on Thursday evening until he finally got on one to Philadelphia late on Thursday night. He then drove FIVE HOURS in the middle of the night with a snowstorm brewing from Philly to Boston arriving at 3 AM. We had guests that couldn’t make it, but he made sure he was there no matter what.
If I could give a million stars for this review I would, by the time our wedding weekend was over, Jonathan felt like family to us. He was so impressive and it was so evident how good he was at his job that even wedding guests were getting his info to hire for other weddings/events, and many couples commented on how they wish they had someone like him at their wedding. If that’s not a testament to how ELITE he is… just have a meeting with him, and you’ll see what I’m talking about. THANK YOU JONATHAN!!!!
I could go on for days about how amazing Jonathan Hare was on our wedding day. He very well may be one of the most genuine people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I think ...
one of the best things about him is that the whole time he was there, I felt like a friend was capturing our special day. He was so professional, positive, and pleasant. He made me laugh the whole time which really helped with the nerves. I would recommend Jonathan Hare to anyone who is looking for an amazing person with incredible talent. In the words of my (now) husband - “Jonathan Hare is THAT DUDE!!!!”

ased on reviews you don’t know are real of fake. But when I saw Jonathan’s gorgeous photos - especially his use of light and playfulness with water, I knew I had found our photographer. But we also wanted to make sure we felt comfortable with him, since he would be spending so many hours with us on our big day. He was so open and chill - we chatted on FaceTime and then were able to meet up in person when we were in town looking at venues. He was so understanding when we postponed due to COVID and we finally got to have our celebration last month. From the moment he got there he was part of our crew - as if it was a good friend taking photos of our wedding. For someone who is uncomfortable and awkward in photos this was so amazing. You can tell he has a passion for taking photos and a real excitement when he sees a setup for a cool shot - and we were game for whatever! (although we drew the line at the blow up beach carnival slide when we saw there was water haha). During the ceremony he already put together a small slideshow of some of the shots, which was a fun surprise, and within days he sent previews. When my sister saw some of the photos she was amazed and was like “I was there! How did your photographer create this gorgeous photo?!” If you’re reading this, don’t wait another minute and book before the date gets snatched up! Thank you for capturing our big day!
Jonathan is amazing at his job and he made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He is so nice and easy to work with he seems like a lifelong friend but we only met ...
him just weeks prior. Capturing some once-in-a-lifetime amazing photos for us we are so grateful we hired him. I can't believe our big day is over but now we have some amazing photos tell us a lifetime. I highly recommend Jonathan and his talent we would hire him for anything else we needed photos of. He's probably the best in the Tampa Bay area.

ears to come. He is genuine, supportive, and has a great eye for detail. This is very important... on a fast paced day like a wedding choosing your team is extremely important and each vendor needs to add so much more than their individual talent to execute a flawless day. Jonathon not only stepped up with his talent but was also a fundamental part of our wedding day team, he brought a sense of calm joy that helped keep the day running smoothly... this is priceless!!

t felt like we had already been friends, it was so easy to hang out with him and have him take our photos. With COVID, we did have to postpone our April wedding to October, and Jonathan was nothing but flexible with the switch in date and made it easy on us! We even had him come to our rehearsal for a little bit to hang out and take some cool shots of everyone (he fit right in with our group!). The wedding photos he did were literally breath taking. He gets so excited when he sees an opportunity, and it shows in his work!! I absolutely love sunsets, and he really captured some cool shots for our wedding. Jonathan also gets soooo creative with his photos and we absolutely love it. It was also so much fun to hang out with him on our wedding day! We are from MD, and wish we lived closer so we could use Jonathan's services more often! When we come to visit we will definitely be using Jonathan for family photo shoots! HE IS THE BEST!!!!!

we can say is WOW! My Husband is not a big picture guy, but with Jonathan he felt comfortable and had so much fun taking the photos. My entire wedding party would not stop raving about how amazing my photographer was and how fun he made the hour for pictures. He is so positive, super high energy and just a fun person to be around. I would 100% recommend him for your engagement photos/Wedding day photos.

dding. He was in constant communication with me from the day we hired him, promptly responding to any and all questions or concerns that I had.
Jonathan knew that I was anxious about feeling rushed on my wedding day. He sat down with me on his own time and worked out a day-of timeline that purposely built in extra time prior to the ceremony to make sure that we were able to get all of the shots that I wanted (and then some!). I was relaxed and calm on the day of our wedding, and I completely attribute that to his planning and his calming demeanor.
Every single member of my bridal party personally mentioned how much they enjoyed working with him throughout the day. His personality is contagious and he made all of the bridesmaids feel at ease.
Jonathan's style and vision is completely unique. His creativity is unlike anyone I have ever worked with and I truly believe he is in a league of his own. I would hire him 100x over if I could. My wedding day was incredible, from start to finish, and I absolutely contribute that to Jonathan. Highly recommend!!

ured the special moments of these couples perfectly. I decided to give him a call. From the first time we talked to Jonathan, he made it so comfortable to us with his friendly personality. Although his packages were out of our price range, Jonathan was willing to work with us. The engagement picture was so amazing that I couldn't wait for the wedding. We had the most awesome save the day picture. When we looked at our wedding pictures, it felt like we re-lived the day. Jonathan captured the essence of the day perfectly. I couldn't stop smiling looking at the pictures. His talent shined through with some unique moments that made our wedding pictures so special and not like another commercial wedding picture shots. We also asked for some Star Wars shots (my husband is a big fan). The pictures were epic. We are so thankful that we was able to have Jonathan as our photographer.

ground or walking a half mile to a banyan tree to get that perfect shot! His wedding was exactly one week after ours and we’re so grateful he was able to photograph our wedding day and even had some preview photos over to us just 3 days after his own wedding!! Not to mention, an amazing mini slideshow during our reception of edited photos from earlier that day. When you meet Jonathan, he’s someone you feel like you’ve known forever. He brought such a calming presence to our wedding day which helped keep everyone’s nerves down. We’re so thankful to have him be part of our wedding day!
Choosing Jonathan as our photographer was undoubtedly the best decision we made regarding our wedding. My husband is normally so self conscious with pictures, but with Jonathan he ...
was so at ease! You can just tell that Jonathan truly enjoys what he does, he gets almost giddy sharing his favorite shots with us! His genuine excitement overflows into his work. He has a way of bringing out the joy in everyone. Even "staged" pictures aren't really staged because he has a way of making everyone burst into smile. He honestly goes above and beyond of just a photographer. He helped my husband get ready for the reception when his best man was delayed! In Jonathan, we didn't just find a photographer, we got a beloved and very talented wedding guest. Aside from just being such an enchanting person, he's an incredible photographer. I was blown away at how quickly we got our pictures back, and just how stunning they were. Flipping through each picture with family received an audible reaction; going through them all took so much time because there was just so much to admire! If you're on the fence about doing the engagement shoot or not, I highly recommend it. It gave us a chance to get comfortable with Jonathan and familiarize ourselves with each others style so that there was no discomfort or "adjustment" period on the wedding day itself. Our day punctuated by photoshoots flowed seamlessly because Jonathan and I both knew exactly what we wanted, and worked together to get exactly that. Aside from all that, he was just so much fun to be with! I can't recommend him enough.

s eye for amazing shots. He also has an amazing ability to put you at ease and make you feel good about the picture being taking. And as one of our guests said, he is a fun guy to hang out with. Then having the slide show put together during the reception was such a nice touch, it allowed the guests to see what happened throughout the day and immediately shows his talent. Jonathan is definitely the top choice for a wedding photographer in this area

ped to St. Pete from Pennsylvania and I had google searched photographers in the area and found Jonathan's website among glowing reviews and it's all true! Amazing doesn't even begin to describe our experience. You'll get the sense that Jonathan does it all- travels far and wide capturing wonderful moments for his clients to cherish always, so I was slightly intimidated initially to call on him to give our nontraditional wedding a portion of his time- but he did not discount our little ceremony by the ocean with just my husband and I. He memorialized our day with vision that only comes with massive creativity and true passion for his craft. He was responsive, timely, personable, and really felt like a true friend attending our wedding that just happened to be taking amazing photos. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you Jonathan for everything!! Now stop reading and go hire Jonathan Hare as your wedding photographer!!

or our wedding. His communication and planning gave us the confidence he would be there for our big day all the way across the country in Oregon. He arrived prepared and and spent the time to explore the area before the wedding to find the best spots to shoot. During the wedding, he always seemed to be in the right pace at the right time. He used his magnetic personality to stage all the formal shots, but also knew how to stay invisible for all the candid shots. We're so happy with the entire experience.

took the shot of a lifetime! What I really loved most is that he not only put us in our best light, but he put every single person we hold dear in their best light too and made it truly enjoyable with his infectious positive/upbeat/energetic personality! I truly can't thank him enough for traveling to be with us and sharing our special day. These photos are an amazing memory of one of the best days of our lives, and from the bottom of my heart I'm thankful you shared your talent with us! Absolutely the BEST!!

e got amazing shots for us, and his creativity and hard work makes his photos really special. Rather than snap a bunch of boring and generic photos of us at our venue like most photogs do, Jonathan drove us around town in his car in the hours before our wedding day to get photos of us at various cool spots in St Pete, including in front of some fun street art. Jonathan really loves his job and enjoys shooting weddings; even though he's probably done hundreds or thousands of weddings, he didn't seem the least bit jaded. He totally made us feel at ease on our wedding day, as he is a calm guy who is a pleasure to be around. Many good photogs are a pain to deal with and have that artsy pretentiousness / arrogance / obnoxiousness / snobbery, but Jonathan manages to do great work will being a nice and pleasant guy. All the great reviews he has on this site are indicative of his skill as an amazing wedding photog.
I cannot even begin to explain how incredible Jonathan is! If I had to give up everything except for one thing on my wedding day, the one thing I would keep is Jonathan. I usually ...
hate taking pictures because I feel like the process often takes away from the moments. Jonathan had a way of not only capturing moments but creating them. I'm not talking about awkwardly posed fake moments (there was NONE of that); but rather, he created authentic fun loving moments that you remember even without a picture. It is amazing to me that he was able to capture everyone in this perfect light. All of his photos are just beautiful and everyone in them is beautiful. He was so happy and excited for us that he alone made our wedding day feel special. At dinner, he put his laptop on our sweetheart table so we could get a preview and later on the piano for the guests to see. It was magnificent. We loved him. Our guests loved him. There cannot be a more perfect photographer. When I read a review that said, the person would fly Jonathan across the world to photograph their wedding... all I can say is YES! I agree! I feel beyond blessed to have had Jonathan photograph our wedding!

ut what the needs of bride/groom. You can tell that this is more than a business or a job to him. His high energy and enthusiasm was a perfect fit for my high energy and busy Indian wedding. It ended up raining on my wedding day but he was by my side giving me constant updates and words of encouragement. He was so flexible with photo locations changing due to the rain. My guests also remarked on how nice and engaging Jonathan was throughout the event. From the minute I contacted him he was so responsive and professional. Main reason for picking Jonathan is his artistic and fun spin on wedding photographs. And how he takes simple photos and made them visually stunning. Jonathan more than stood up to the task of capturing the family moments but also the essence of our day. My Indian wedding was full of rituals and bright colors...Jonathan did such a fantastic job of capturing the colors, details and the overall vibe. The best part is how fast he worked on sending us the edited photos after the wedding. I became so emotional looking at the photos because I easily relived the day because he was able to capture all the emotions, fun and celebration. I can't recommend Jonathan enough! He is incredibly professional, kind and the perfect photographer to capture the memories that will help you transport back to the day.
My family and I LOVED Jonathan. Including the event planner for our wedding at Prairie Glenn Barn, they loved him, too! He was personable, kind and willing to do the must-have shot...
s my mom wanted LOL His prices are reasonable and even far better than what I had seen from other wedding photographers. His photos are real and charming and we are so blessed to have had him be a part of our big day.
Saying Jonathan did an amazing job is an understatement. We couldn't ask for a better photographer or person to be a part of our wedding day.
One of the most important things about our wedding was having a good photographer... Jonathan was everything we wanted and more and we would have arranged our whole wedding around ...
his schedule to make sure we had him! His work is incredible and he makes everyone feel so comfortable... in the moments that counted we didn't even know he was there but he captured every special moment in the most unique way. Not only do we have the most amazing pictures but Jonathan made our day more special just by being there. He became one of the guest and everyone at the wedding commented both on his work and on his charismatic personally. Thank you Jonathan we love you ! Samantha & Jason
