About this vendor
Our real drive and passion is not just creating highlight videos that show some clips from a wedding, but creating films that tell your story. Every couple has a unique story that deserves to be told with passion and skill, from the color grading to the music bed, every film is about telling a story about you.
EVERY wedding package includes a full feature film that runs on average 15-18 minutes, a teaser film, and a full cut of the ceremony and toasts. We only offer full day coverage, from start to finish.
We don't put time limits on our services because we don't believe you should be looking over your shoulder, hoping we don't miss a big moment. We are there beginning to end, capturing every moment at a fair price.

Look no further and hire Jonathan Mayfield and his crew. He was always quick to respond and answered any questions we had. Our wedding video was a top priority for us and we looked...
at several videographers before finding his work(s) of art; it was a no brainer.
He made our vision come to life--we can't wait to watch our video for years to come!
Thank you so much to Jonathan and his crew for making such memorable wedding films! I have watched them about a million times since our magical day, definitely worth the money! It...
's really the only way to capture every detail of your wedding day because it goes so fast! We will have these films for the rest of our lives and we couldn't be more thankful!
Jonathan went above and beyond on our special day, arriving earlier than any other vendor in order to make sure that he was getting plenty of footage of the venue, drone views of t...
he area, and shots of all of us getting ready. He also filmed in a way where he was able to get every key shot, but he never felt intrusive and made everything feel organic, even during emotional moments, such as the reading of letters, first looks, etc. We received our teaser video less than a week after our big day (which immediately brought tears to my eyes), and I am looking forward to the full video and raw footage.
I reached out to Jonathan two years before my wedding. I LOVED his work and wanted to book with him; however, we didn't have the funds right then and there. It took a few months bu...
t every time I reached out to see if he was still available he always responded so promptly and so politely. His professionalism and great customer service continued well after we booked him too! He would go out of his way to meet up with me to accept payments towards his service and every time he treated me more as a friend than client. My now husband wasn't fully on board with the whole videography thing, but once meeting Jonathan he understood why I wanted him to capture our day. Now my husband says he couldn't have pictured our day without him there! Jonathan and his wife Brista were so sweet and kind to all of our guests! We are so excited to see the videos because we feel they really understood our personalities and our love for one another! Thank you so much Mayfields! We truly appreciate you guys being apart of our big day!
Jonathan and his wife were amazing to work with and the product is impeccable! When I first met with Jonathan he told me he does wedding videos because he is passionate for it and ...
that because of that he would be the first vendor there on my wedding day. He was in fact the first vendor from my team there, other than my wedding planner. His dedication and passion showed in our final product. The day was captured so perfectly from getting ready, to the ceremony, toasts and reception. 10/10 recommend hiring Jonathan to capture your wedding on film. There were things he captured that we didn't even remember happening.
WOW! You must/need/want to hire Jonathan if you are looking for the best wedding videographer! When you meet him in person, you will be able to tell right away that this is his tru...
e passion and it will show in his work. Jonathan's work is pure PERFECTION. We were seriously blown away when we first watched our wedding teaser film that Jonathan created (4 days after the wedding). It was absolutely amazing to be able to relive our big day through his film. I mean this was just a teaser film. I can only imagine what the rest of his work is going to be like.
On our wedding day, Jonathan was the very first vendor to arrive at the venue. Honestly, I hardly ever noticed that Jonathan and his team were there for the rest of the day. It was almost like they were invisible, but they still captured ALL of the beautiful/amazing moments. So many of our family and friends were very impressed with Jonathan and his professionalism. They worked so hard nonstop all day long for almost 12 hours!
Jonathan is very personable, kind, professional and amazing at what he does! We are truly grateful that we've had him as our wedding videographer and would most definitely recommend him to anyone who's looking for a wedding videographer. Hire him! He's the best!
My husband and I got married 40 hours ago! 40!
And already we have the best night of our lives memorialized in the most amazing highlight video we could have ever imagined!

than and his second shooter James came to where we were getting ready and immediately we knew we were in brilliant hands. They were professional, personable and seemed to get exactly the right shots without being intrusive at all.
We were stunned when he said he’d be with us all day... too good to be true when normal photogs and videographers are limited to 6 or 10 hours... but true to his promise he captured every special moment.
If this highlight reel is any indication of what we can expect from the rest of his work, hiring Jonathan was by far one of the best wedding decisions we made.
From one former wedding professional to future clients: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Thank you, Jonathan!!

ily celebrating our day with us. I will be recommending Folklore Media's services to all of my friends in the DFW area :)
I was one of those brides who thought I would cut wedding costs by not hiring a videographer. It was not a priority of mine to begin with. I was told over and over that it would be...
something I would regret to not have video of our wedding. I found Folklore Media Lab and the price was right, so I booked them and hoped all of the people who gave me the advice were right. BOY! Am I glad we hired Jonathan and Folklore Media Lab. Our video is over-the-top amazing. It's more perfect that I could have ever imagined and I can't tell you how happy I am that we have our wedding day on video - it is so different than still photos. Jonathan and his team were with us from 8:00am - almost midnight (unheard of!). He's very pleasant to be around and we hardly noticed him at all during the reception. Seeing the raw emotion on video is worth every penny! Thanks Folklore!!
I am so happy with my decision to use Folklore Media Lab to do my wedding video. Great quality, moments captured and music. I couldn't have imagined a better trailer and video to...
have as a keepsake of one of my most memorable days. Having a video to look back on was a great decision as I do not remember much.. folklore media lab exceeded my expectations. So easy to work with.. you almost forget they are even there. Jonathan was so easy to talk with, easy to get ahold of and took my vision and made it even better than I could have imagined. Thank you folklore media lab for giving me such a wonderful souvenir to cherish of my wedding forever!
BEST LAST MINUTE DECISION EVER! I was begging my husband the week before the wedding to let me get a video, I really felt like we might regret it, and magically Jonathan was availa...
ble! We are so thrilled we went with him! From 7AM to 10pm, he and our photographer braved a freezing (like, 30 degree) Texas outdoor wedding, they were champs! We barely noticed Jonathan was there half the time, he fit in so comfortably, put everyone at ease and got incredible shots! His pricing is extremely competitive, and we got double the footage for half the price in several other packages vendors quoted us. Very professional, aimed to please, down with whatever, and very quick turnaround! You spend so much time and money preparing, don't miss out capturing your big day!
Jonathan & His team were amazing! They were extremely professional and personable throughout the entire process, from my first call to them to the end product! They were so kind an...
thoughtful. They arrived early for set up and were completely ready early. They also worked so well with the tech people at my venue. They caught exactly what was important to my husband and I and most importantly for what they gave us they did not cost an arm and a leg! The end product is absolutely worth every penny! We will cherish our wedding video forever! It is absolutely and perfect! I wouldn't add or take away a thing! And I am picky! My father is a video editor!! So to impress me is not easy. Folklore Media is absolutely the way to go for your special day! Thank you Jonathan!!!
Jonathan was so much more than I ever dreamed of. I was on the fence about video and the price was right and I'm so glad I booked him! My video made me cry and I am still speechles...
