e chose not to get a videographer, so it really upped the stress on who to get for pictures because they would be the only tangible memory of our special day. I hate to admit it, but I was extremely picky. This one didn't edit enough, that one used the same edit constantly, this one only had outdoor experience, etc. Every photographer I found had a downfall I couldn't overlook. Then, through some divine intervention, I found Jonathan's page. He had it all, variety, experience, with bated breath I asked for an investment list, and what do you know- incredible prices to boot. I had found my photographer, but now came the "was it the right choice" time frame. We had a long engagement, 2 years, and I booked Jonathan about a year and a half in advance I believe. As our engagement pictures came up, so did my stress levels. What if we aren't as photogenic as those other couples? What if our personalities don't come through and we look like completely different people? What if I have my eyes closed in all of the pictures or my eyebrows are messed up? The day of engagement pictures came and once we got out there, my fears melted away. He let us interact as we normally would and captured moments I took for granted. He made suggestions that turned into masterpieces. And he did it all with a cheery, stress-free attitude. When we got the pictures, they were everything I could have hoped for. Each picture was seamlessly edited but you could still see the time he took to infuse as much love as possible into each one. I took bridal portraits at a B&B in Natchitoches and on the river front (along with a much bigger posse than I intended, but again Jonathan handled them all fabulously, ensuring my smiles for the pictures were genuine throughout the night). I don't have high self esteem by any means, but the bridals I received from him looked like something from a magazine. I couldn't believe it was me! Finally, our wedding came around. People running around, trying to make sure the bride isn't seen, family every where, and through it all, Jonathan- silently documenting the love among the chaos. He slipped through the church and I never heard so much as a click from his camera. I was able to fully focus on my rapidly-becoming-husband and the vows we were promising to each other. The reception flew by in a flash, but I remember a calm moment, there was nothing to do but dance, and my husband lead me to a quiet corner so we could just whisper to and hold each other for a minute. I have no idea where he came from, but there was Jonathan instantly, capturing our small piece of alone time and immortalizing it forever. I haven't seen my wedding pictures yet, but I have no doubt they're going to be everything I ever hoped for and more. Jonathan is an incredible person as well as photographer and I would recommend him to anyone that is interested in having someone shoot your wedding that truly cares for you as an individual and does nothing but add to the experience.

ographer. You're getting a man who LOVES, and had a passion for what he does. He not only captures the wedding, but he gets the LOVE that fills the room. That "PERFECT" shot, that you can only dream of. The that love scene that's only seen in movies. Yes, when you see the amazing job he has done, you won't be sorry. I'm speaking from experience. When my husband and I showed our family and friends our engagement photos, they couldn't believe their eyes. Everyone told us how beautiful we looked, and the quality of our pictures were phenomenal. They belong in a magazine somewhere. I was very pleased. Jonathan is not hard to get in contact with, and he's the sweetest guy you'll ever meet (besides your husband) LoL! I mean I can go on. Whatever he can do for you to make your wedding experience perfect, he will. He will go out of his way. Jonathan was with me right up until the time I walked out for my wedding, assisting me and making sure I was fine. He even went out of his way to walk my mother out and made sure she okay, right before departing to the ceremony. So like I said before, you're not just getting a photographer with Jonathan. You're getting a helping hand, someone who really cares, and a friend in the long run. So whatever you do, don't think twice about contacting him for the most important days of your life. You'll thank me later!!!

every little detail that I wanted! I had pictures pinned on Pinterest that I knew I wanted captured but forgot to even mention them to him on the wedding day... But guess what, he got got them anyway! Amazing amazing work! He has a variety of wedding packages to choose from so that is nice! You get exactly what you want! No matter how big or small the wedding is he can do it all! I keep up with him on Facebook and Instagram and am always amazed at the work he posts! If you are looking for a photographer look no further! Honestly you cannot get any better than Jonathan Poole!!!!:)

He blended with the guests seamlessly during the wedding and at the reception (at one point I asked if he was related to the family in some way because his polite and friendly demeanor appeared like he was part of the family). Unlike many other wedding photographers, Jonathan never butted his way in front of someone else to get his shot and I never witness him request anyone to move to gain a better vantage point. He always seemed to get what shots he needed nonetheless. Being a photography lover myself, I quickly took notice that Jonathan seemed to be in all the right places for those "perfect" shots at all the right times. He was readily available to capture each of the important moments, even the ones other photographers don't think to capture, and turned them into breath-taking memories. Additionally, Jonathan was commissioned to do my niece's bridal portraits and engagement photos. All of his pictures were fantastic. In fact, I did quite a bit of jaw-dropping on many of the photos. Simply beautiful! These are the type of photos you would expect to see on the cover of a bridal magazine. It really made it difficult to decide on which photos to select, because all were keep-worthy. His work is brilliantly creative, beautiful and worth every dollar spent. A complete class-act!!

he day so special and one to remember. In the beginning with engagement shots he weathered the storm. Literally. Even after days of rain and cold... He made some amazing pictures. His pictures have come to look like paintings. We just wished we would have had him for a longer period of time.. We are so pleased and happy to have made a dear friend in the end.
