August 19,2023 was our wedding date!! I was married at the Cranes Estate in Ipswich MA this location was extremely important to me as I am from Ipswich MA and it was going to be the day that as a little girl I have always dreamed of!! When I started the wedding planning process I honestly didn't know where to start but what I did know is that I wanted every moment to be capture! Jonny Havens was a preferred vendor at the Cranes Estate I looked through about 4-6 Videographer they recommended and the moment I saw Jonny work I knew he was the one!! Not only was he extremely professional but he was able to understand and for fill my expectations!!! He had a full team with him the day of my wedding that captured every moment from start to finish!!! I have already recommended him to 3 of my friends. The finish videos!!! Yes, I said videos are out of this world!!!!! I show everyone!!!! AND I MEAN EVERYONE!!! not because it was my wedding but because of how outstanding his work truly is!!! Many people I show say its like watching a movie they can feel the emotion behind it!! If your looking for a videographer stop looking Jonny is they one!!

5 stars is simply NOT enough. I met Jonny at my cousin’s wedding in 2020, and immediately knew that when the time came for me, he’d be my first and only choice. His personality, his eye for detail, his overwhelming sense of calmness but also light heartedness and fun, make him the perfect choice for your wedding day. He so beautifully captured every little and big moment of our wedding, listened to all directions about our timeline, and made the entire process feel seamless and natural. It was so easy to be ourselves in front of the camera with Jonny behind it. He even recommended a wedding coordinator to us, who we ended up hiring, and she was a rockstar too! And as if all of those incredible characteristics about him weren’t enough, the quality of his work is just *CHEF’S KISS* good, like, unbelievably “how did you even do that” good. What a dream it was to hire Jonny Havens for my wedding. I had been following his work for years and was absolutely certain that I wanted him to shoot my wedding. He was the second vendor we booked after our venue. I was THAT sure and it was the best decision ever! Jonny is so talented, detail-oriented, and is able to capture your wedding day in a way that I haven't seen from other videographers. He is also very communicative and FAST! We had our video within the month! I have friends that had to wait 6-8 months for their video with other videographers. That will not happen with Jonny. What a gift it is to have our day fully captured in a way that our future children might feel like they were actually there. They will get to see family that they might never meet. If you are considering hiring Jonny to shoot your wedding - DO IT!!! Jonny is wonderfully talented -- not only did he capture every moment that made our day, the way he thoughtfully, artistically, and beautifully edited our video to capture the emotions and celebration is something that we will always cherish. On top of his incredible talent, Jonny is just wonderful to work with. He was as excited for our day as my husband and I, and it's a great feeling to have vendors around you who truly love what they do and are excited to help make your day the best day ever. From a logistics and technical perspective, Jonny is also a dream. He was always professional and communicative. Also, my husband is a bit of a tech video geek himself, and Jonny completely put him at ease with his expertise. Jonny is the MAN! He and Brandon both killed it at our wedding. I was unsure of getting a videographer at first, but I am so glad that we did. WOW! Jonny was the most fabulous videographer to work with for our wedding this Summer. He is so prepared, professional and competent. I cannot speak more highly of Jonny. Not only is he professional, but a true craftsmen (and a lot of fun to be around). He took many creative liberties that resulted in a beautiful video that I will cherish for years to come. It is not uncommon to look and find Jonny sideways, on the ground in a field - anything to get the perfect shot. He was so easy to work with and very trustworthy. I had the utmost confidence in what he was doing every step of the planning and finalization period. If you are thinking of using a videographer, use Jonny, you will not be disappointed. Jonny is excellent. One of the best choices we made for our wedding. His work is absolutely beautiful, incredibly artistic, and the best way to save the memories from your day. When planning our wedding was in the most adolescent of stages there were only 3 things on my “wish list”: To have grilled cheese dippers served at cocktail hour, for otters to slide down the aisle, and to have a wedding film produced by Jonny Havens. Well reader, I’m here to tell you that 2/3 dreams can come true! We met Jonny at a friend’s wedding a few years back and when their wedding film went live I just knew we needed to have him at our eventual wedding. Jonny is a true trooper—he flew out to LA to film our wedding, captured some truly incredible footage, and had it all turned around to us in record time. We even got a customized flashdrive at the end of it with the high lights video, edited ceremony, and reception highlights: I was blown away by the amount of quality content he was able to turn around in such a short time frame just by himself! Jonny has an amazing eye you don’t find in many wedding filmmakers and he managed to capture and tell a story Hollywood itself wouldn’t be able to tell as well! Jonny worked closely with our photographer to make sure they were both working harmoniously and not getting in each others way and as a result all media captured that day was incredible. Even if you’re already having wedding photos taken believe me, going the extra mile to have a wedding film produced of your day is just SO special and unique and the perfect way to relive it whenever you want. Jonny is a true artist and a good soul.

During the summer of 2014 I had the honor of attending a friends wedding in which Jonny was the videographer. A month later, when all the festivities were over and Jonny’s video was released, I was honestly mesmerized. Jonny was able to capture not only the visible moments of the wedding but the feeling of entire day. It was incredible to experience feeling the essence of the wedding all over again in a 4-minute video. Needless to say, I knew that if I ever chose to get married, I wanted Jonny Havens to capture all of it. Nine and a half years later, that became my reality. Not only did Jonny capture the incredible story of my husband and me as well as the essence of the day, he was incredibly easy to work with and beyond professional. He brought not only skills to our wedding but his storytelling and eye, capturing moments that I wasn’t even aware of. I have family in Ghana who were unable to attend our day and because if Jonny we were able to share not only the details of the day but the feelings as well. If I’m honest, deciding to have a videographer was a challenging discussion point for me and my husband. Jonny lived up to every expectation and was able to do for me 4 and a half years later the very thing that I saw him do for my friends. To me, there is no better way to capture the memory of your wedding than with video, specifically Jonny Havens Wedding Videography. I had seen his work on Facebook, and he was the first vendor I reached out to after I was engaged. No matter what style of wedding you plan on having, your wedding video coverage will look like a Hollywood movie. That is not to say it will be flashy and impersonal, quite the opposite. Jonny is an excellent videographer and editor and seamlessly pieces together beautiful and personal clips from your wedding. Beyond the final product, Jonny was a joy to work with in person. I am a bit camera shy, but with Jonny, I never felt like I was “on camera.” He seemed to float around unnoticed, and yet was there to capture every special moment. I cannot say enough good things about his work, however, I think it is quite easy to understand my sentiments by looking at his portfolio of work.

I still can't think of the perfect words to describe our gratitude for Jonny. It was truly such a breath of fresh air and just pure joy working with him, capturing our love for each other and friends/family throughout our special day. Jonny Havens Wedding Films was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day. We were on the edge of not choosing to hire a videographer but pulled the trigger after we went to a good friends wedding and saw what he had done for them. Jonny was so easy to work with, extremely prompt in his reply and organized. We didn't have to do anything, just let him know the date/time and he took it from there. We can't say enough great things about Jonny. We were planning our wedding from afar and weren't able to meet with Jonny in person, but after a quick Skype call it seems like he knew exactly what we wanted and how to make it a reality. We were looking for someone who would be able to capture and integrate all of the moments and speeches and the atmosphere, weaving audio and music into a beautiful movie, and Jonny did it better than we could have dreamed.
