We were so excited to book Jorge for our wedding, he came highly recommended by everyone in the Pittsburgh area! I fell in love with his style of work, and he was a pleasure to work with as well. We absolutely love our wedding photos by Jorge, and we received them quickly (less than three weeks after our wedding date)! As a South Indian bride, I was initially drawn to Jorge because it is clear he has a genuine appreciate of various cultures and traditions, and he captured ours beautifully! His partner that day also had a keen eye for detail and she was very helpful in making little adjustments for us so our photos would turn out perfectly! I would highly recommend Jorge for your special day.

Jorge is one of the most professional photographers we have ever worked with! He is friendly, easy to work with, and accommodates your every need, aside from being an extremely skilled and creative photographer. He knows all the best spots and hidden gems around town. We have done our wedding and reception shoots with him and he was prompt, efficient, and turned around the final pictures efficiently as well. Jorge and his partner did a fantastic job capturing our wedding day. They photographed all of the moments we asked for and many surprises, too! He was really communicative leading up to the day, patiently answering my many questions, and we received the photos more quickly than he originally estimated afterwards. Jorge Santiago recently photographed our wedding and he did a phenomenal job! He was so easy to work with and has such an amazing eye for detail. Jorge’s style is incomparable to others in the photography industry. He captures not only the exquisite beauty of each of his subjects, but also tells their story. I chose my venue (which came with most of my vendors) solely on a photo I saw of Jorge’s. I have never seen such captivating photos than those from my wedding and engagement sessions. On top of his talent, he is such a kind individual and made us feel so comfortable. I could not recommend him more. The album he created of our wedding is phenomenal, it tells our story in such beautiful detail.

Jorge, and his assistant Alyssa, were everything I could have asked for out of my wedding photographers. Jorge photographed my sisters wedding in 2013, and did such a fantastic job I knew I needed to hire him as well to make sure I got nothing but the best pictures on the biggest day of my life. Any photographs me, my husband, or our guests requested Jorge eagerly took, and he was particularly great at suggesting certain picture ideas, and some of the best photographs came from his suggested poses/locations. The quality of his pictures are top notch, truly breathtaking, and I haven’t been able to stop looking at them. Jorge was professional, kind, accommodating, fun, and truly talented, and I would recommend him to anyone who wants the absolute best possible photographs for their special occasion.

Jorge shot our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures! WOW sums out how beautiful our pictures turned out! Jorge's attention to detail and light are wonderful. Jorge was the first person I booked for our October 5th wedding, before I even had a dress, venue, etc. and it was the best choice ever. He was extremely professional, on tone, easy to work with, and communicative. My husband hates having his picture taken so Jorge was great to offer suggestions/poses when needed, but was also amazing at capturing the candid moments that make us “truly us”. Words cannot express how many compliments I get on my pictures from the wedding. In addition to an engagement shoot, and two photographers on wedding day, Jorge sent us a wooden memory box that had on of our pictures printed on the wood!! Yes on the wood itself! He included many high quality, thick prints, along with a usb of all of our pictures so we would never lose them! My husband and I still talk about how Jorge was one of the best decisions for our wedding. You won’t regret it. Heed my advice when I say, you get what you pay for, and Jorge is worth every penny and more!!!

We got married at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, and hiring Jorge as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made! We just received our photos and are beyond thrilled with them. Jorge was kind and easy to work with, and even more importantly was comfortable around our family and friends. We keep receiving compliments on our photos and it's all thanks to Jorge!

Jorge was our photographer for our wedding at St. Paul's Cathedral and reception at The Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh. Jorge was very easy to work with from our engagement session all the way through to our reception. He and his assistant did a great job at capturing the day and really impressed with us with some very dramatic shots they were able to capture. The staff at St. Paul's Cathedral is notoriously difficult to work with and we really appreciated Jorge and his assistance's patience and understand dealing with them. Our pictures turned out fantastic, were delivered on time, and were on budget. We can't recommend Jorge highly enough.

I wish I could give Jorge 10 stars!!!! Everything about Jorge was so wonderful. He captured all of our best moments from multiple angles (with his assistant) and NEVER missed a great candid shot. When we received our wedding photos back (very quickly!), I was surprised to see how PERFECTLY he captured so many little moments. He and his assistant even crouched on the floor and stood on chairs to get shots from the best angles. He calmly and patiently worked well with my large, sometimes overwhelming, family throughout the entire night and made sure to capture all of the shots that I requested. His kindness, humility, and work ethic cannot be beat. I 1000% recommend him to anyone and everyone and we can't wait for our next big life event to work with Jorge again!

Me and my fiancé were researching photographers for our engagement photo shoot. We have used other professional photographers in the past for different events but Jorge and his team really stood out. The pictures truly were breathtaking. My friends and family where in awe off the pictures. It really looks like we are on a movie poster. Jorge is very patient and very good and did not make us feel rushed as we had multiple outfit changes when we were taking pictures in the January cold!

My husband and I could not be more blessed to have found Jorge Santiago Photography. We had spoken with multiple photographers and had even gotten some recommendations from friends who were recently married but once we saw Jorge's photos and spoke to him we knew we were going to book him for our wedding. My husband and I live in Philadelphia but got married in Pittsburgh so the first time we met Jorge was at our engagement photo shoot. We had the best time with him and his assistant at Frick park in the nature center and our pictures were more than we could have hoped for! Our wedding photos are absolutely breathtaking, I show anyone that will look at them. We received our photo album just a few months after the wedding and it is AMAZING! It is beautiful and heavy and the layout of the pages is amazing, we got to pick the photos and the material of the photo album which was a nice touch. Jorge and his team were absolutely fantastic! Neither my husband nor I are great with formal photos, and Jorge was so accommodating and patient with us-he made us feel really comfortable and even made the process (that we had honestly sort of been dreading) fun! In addition to being a delight to work with, Jorge was so quick to get our photos returned to us-we had all of our photos (from three full days of wedding events!) back to us in under a month. And most importantly, they all turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! Jorge was really wonderful to work with and he did a fantastic job with everything! I would absolutely recommend his services!

We loved working with Jorge and his team! We as well as both of our families were thrilled with the photos he took of our day. He captured our day beautifully as it unfolded naturally through each portion of the day. He even accommodated working with our pup for a few pictures (last minute curveball we threw at him). He's structured but low-key so you can enjoy your big day the way you want to. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I am probably Jorge's very first deaf client, but I agree with his previous client (whose parents were deaf)'s statement just below me that he was inspired to learn ASL so that he can better communicate with future deaf clients like me! My experience with Jorge was nothing, but excellent. His level of professionalism was unparalleled. My wedding was unique in that it was a South Asian wedding, and Jorge took the time to understand each and every tradition which allowed him to capture every important moment. He was extremely patient and flexible among wedding chaos, which was very reassuring. He also managed to capture every single significant moment, while also making sure not to get in anyone's way. His assistant was equally as kind as helpful! Even family and friends noticed how professional they both were. Would highly recommend!

Amazing photographer. Jorge's style and finished product are far superior to the quality of other wedding photographers I have seen. He was able to capture all of the things that were important to us beautifully. He was super easy to work with, very friendly, and made the engagement shoot and the wedding day fun. I would recommend him over and over again. As a bonus, we got our photos back only a few weeks after our wedding day!

If I could give Jorge and his team more than 5 stars I absolutely would. He was easy to work with, prompt, and got me my pictures in only 3 weeks! I was looking for someone who had experience with South Asian weddings because the ceremony can get a little complicated and it's tough to get all of the shots. Jorge did not disappoint at all. He worked with me ahead of time to get a detailed timeline of the day to make sure he didn't miss any of the key moments. He brought an assistant for the whole weekend who helped with lighting and staging our pictures. She was great! I would highly recommend to any bride who is looking for a great photographer.

Jorge and his assistant Elisa did an absolutely incredible job capturing the spirit of our wedding. We asked for mostly candid (with just a few portrait style photos) and wow - they performed like the true professionals they are. Looking back through my pictures I felt like they did not miss a moment. My guests loved them too! So easy to work with, I would HIGHLY recommend!

My fiance and I hired Jorge for our wedding and we could not be happier with the results. The images he captured look like the are right from a magazine shoot. Jorge did our engagement pictures as well at the Carrie Blast Furnace, we used these images as the invitations for our wedding. We had so many compliments on the pictures he took. They were truly incredible and not your standard cookie cutter shots. He was friendly, prompt, and flexible when it came to shooting locations. If you are a bride, and you want an incredibly talented photographer with an eye for lighting and composition - then hire Jorge. HE is the BEST!

Jorge Santiago Photography was the best investment I made throughout the wedding planning process. Jorge and his assistants are sensitive to the wants and needs of their consumers, professional, prompt, low key, responsive, and above all, TALENTED, I could not have asked for more from them. My husband despises getting his picture taken and was completely against the idea of a photographer from the beginning. However, after meeting with Jorge for our engagement photo shoot, my husband was impressed and I was overjoyed! We had our engagement shoot at Cook Forest, one of the last old-growth forests in the United States and a bucket list item for us both. Jorge’s work is stunning and the amount of time he was willing to invest in us was unbelievable. He was willing to drive over two hours one way in order to hike over a mile for several hours to get us the photos of a lifetime. His turn-around time was quick and the results well worth the wait. When I decided to incorporate a videographer, I didn’t want to work with anyone that Jorge wouldn’t be comfortable working with. On top of which, I wanted the quality to be on par with the photo quality I knew we would be receiving. Jorge gave me the name of our videographer who was also phenomenal to work with. On the day, Jorge (known to many who have worked with him as a photo ninja), was never obtrusive or demanding. Jorge and his assistant communicated easily with my Deaf parents, (a must for me) and worked easily with the rest of our family members and guests. Jorge and his fantastic assistant were willing to go to my husband’s family farm to get pictures of him in his childhood home prior to the start of the ceremony. Then after the ceremony, they were willing to drive with us a few minutes down the road to a piece of property my husband’s family owns to get gorgeous panoramic shots. He and his assistant stayed at the reception until the last song snapping over 7000 photos by the end of the night!!!! We received a final product of about 1000 GORGEOUS photos for us to treasure for all-time on a USB. The USB was mailed to us in a stunning, one-of-a kind wooden box that had one of our wedding photos printed on it and a multitude of prints for us to frame. I was rendered speechless by the kindness of the act and the willingness with which it was given. I cannot emphasize enough how far above and beyond the call of duty Jorge went to ensure we were completely and totally happy with his work. In fact, in our email communications after the wedding Jorge confided that he, “was so moved by all the love and connection in (our) family that (he) was inspired to learn ASL… It's been an amazing journey so far and (he is) really excited about it.” Jorge was inspired to learn another language so that he can better communicate with future Deaf clients! If you’re on the fence or questioning the value of the investment, all I can say is it would be a mistake NOT to book with Jorge Santiago Photography. Thank you, Jorge for all that you did for us!!!

After months of research, my husband and I determined that Jorge Santiago Photography was our best best choice based on his photographs, flexibility, and professionalism. We worked with Jorge and his wonderful assistant for our wedding on 4/29/17 and for our engagement pictures in November. They were so nice and accommodating, so we quickly felt relaxed about the whole process. From the day I contacted him, Jorge was responsive, prompt and courteous. Most importantly, he provided us with so many beautiful photos that he'd captured seamlessly. Even many of our friends and family mentioned his diligence and attention to detail. We would not hesitate to recommend Jorge to anyone looking for a photographer!

All I can say is stop reading this and call Jorge Santiago immediately for all of your photography needs! My now wife and I were honored to have him at our wedding and what an absolute treat it was. Jorge and his team (this review also includes every word to thank Elisa Cevallos and Kristy Lumsden) for being a blessing on our wedding weekend. Let’s just start off by saying that before contacting Jorge, we scoured the internet for a photographer that we felt would capture the caliber of such an epic day and once we saw Jorge’s work, we immediately locked eyes with each other and started emailing him. Jorge is amazingly communicative and answered all of our questions. We were even a bit nervous since we are Coptic Orthodox Christian and have a very different wedding ceremony than traditional weddings, but Jorge and his team did their research and knew exactly how to handle every second of the ceremony. Jorge even came early in the morning to photograph a church liturgy held for before the wedding ceremony itself! Jorge is a complete artist and we love his work. He was such a pleasure to work with! We scheduled a trash the dress session with him on the next day and it was SO worth it. We had such a blast. Both my wife and I are not from Pittsburgh (but got married there) and Jorge knew all of the best locations for pre-reception photos for us and the bridal party; and we went around all the scenic areas in Downtown Pittsburgh for the trash the dress to capture my beautiful bride in all her glory (getting down and dirty). I can’t even express to you how happy we are with having Jorge capture our special day/weekend. We have already recommended him to all of our friends with any photography needs/getting married back home (NY/NJ and GA/FL). Jorge had so many clever ideas for poses and was amenable to our own. They made us not camera shy by being so fun, timely, and always there exactly where they needed to be. Jorge even took the time to take specific requested photos that we had in mind. The bottom line is you should stop reading this right now and get in touch with this phenomenally talented person to schedule your photography needs. P.S. the sample photos he sent us right after the wedding are so stunning, we absolutely CANNOT wait to see the final product. Jorge far exceeded our expectations in every aspect, I wish he and his team all the success in the world. We can’t wait to schedule him again for a future shoot down the road (ahem baby reveal) in the future.

Jorge and his team were amazing. We had a long day(2 ceremonies:Catholic and Hindu in 1 day) and he was there to capture every moment of it! We are very lucky to have had them capture all the amazing candids. We would highly recommend him as he was responsible, timely, and delivered everything he promised. He even worked with us after the wedding to get our albums together. All of our friends rave about our pictures and admit that they still look at them now! Jorge, did an amazing job of capturing our entire day perfectly. He is so talented. Very easy going and fun to work with. In addition to being incredibly talented, Jorge went above and beyond. My husband and I are both trial attorneys and we're both happened to be in trial the week of our wedding. Without asking him to, Jorge came to our rehersal to discuss the details of our wedding and to make sure he captured everything the way we wanted it. Every photo was fantastic. We are so happy with Jorge's work! Not only was he incredibly responsive, thorough, and easy to work with in the planning stages of our wedding, he also was a blast to hang out with at the engagement session and on our big day. We had a wonderful time shooting and he was great at making the most of our schedule when we got a little behind - he easily helped us catch up, while still getting those magic hour shots we wanted! Jorge is amazing! Before the wedding he was extremely responsive to questions. On the day of the wedding he made us feel completely comfortable. I love the emotions and artistic viewpoints he captured. I can't say enough nice things about Jorge.

I would highly recommend Jorge! He is so kind and easy going. A friend discovered him in 2014 and since, I have used him for both my engagement and wedding photos and he will also be doing my sister's wedding this fall. It poured down rain and was thundering and lightening during our engagement session but Jorge worked to find a new location and made it fun and exciting and we were still able to get many pictures that we love despite the awful weather. He has a very artistic eye and was able to capture great candid photos of our wedding, which was exactly what I wanted. Both he and his assistant were great on the day of the wedding. Very relaxed and made everyone feel comfortable. Jorge is also very reliable, easy to get in contact with, and responds right away which is so important when planning a wedding. I could go on and on!!

Jorge is simply THE BEST. He spent all day with us on our sunny August wedding, and even brought along a second shooter so nothing would be missed. We received so many beautiful and creative shots, but I never felt like we were taking time out of our day to pose. Jorge would ask us to do a minor adjustment, and somehow turn it into a magical photo! He worked very well with the videography team at Trillium Wedding Films. I’m sure he gets along with everyone, but try to get this team back together if you can! Jorge is not only talented, he’s extremely professional too. He arrived at 9am to start taking photo of accessories, and didn’t pack up til 11pm. I’d asked him for some sneak peak photos to share with our family abroad, and he sent me 9 photos at 3am the night of the wedding. We truly appreciate that kind of care and commitment to one’s clients and craft. I remember when we were looking at photographers in the Pittsburgh area, and Jorge’s photos sold me before I even spoke to him. We also appreciated that Jorge gives you a thumb drive with the images on it, so you can use them for personal use. Other photographers may require you to purchase copies from them every time. Jorge also graciously offered to take photos at our rehearsal dinner since we didn’t get to do an engagement shoot with him. Your photographer, videographer, and make-up artist are the vendors you’ll spend the most time with at your wedding, so we’re happy we picked such an awesome photographer to do ours. Thank you so much Jorge, we’ll hit you up when a baby Gotow arrives and we can do this all over again ;)

We really enjoyed working with Jorge. He was very flexible and responsive before and after. We chose him because from his work samples he seemed to us to have a very artistic angle of view...and we could not be more right! We LOVE our wedding pictures. Also, one interesting fact about him (that when I later thought about it, I found it to be very important) was that the whole time, he looked he was really enjoying taking pictures of us. He was part of the experience and excitement, rather than just doing a "job". That made us, and our guests, enjoying taking pictures as well. WE LOVED IT.

I found Jorge through Instagram a few months before my wedding in April 2016. I had originally thought to work with another photographer (she had done our engagement shoot), but concluded that her work was overpriced for what it was. As I looked online at Jorge's work, I was captivated by his images immediately. The intensity and vibrancy of his shots were unreal. When I told him that I appreciated his photos and his post-production work, he said he wasn't using Photoshop or any other program- that's just how he shoots. And it's true! So even though Jorge was a bit of a splurge for me and my now husband, we thought it was worth it to hire him and we were so happy that we did! Jorge is a wonderful person to work with. He's very easy breezy, calm, and not pushy. We had a long day and he was on point all day. His images from early afternoon to evening were excellent. I was definitely happy with the images that I received-artistic, high quality, and captured a lot great moments . I have a good amount of images that are "frame-worthy". A word of advice to other brides and one thing I wish I had done: if you can, take time with your pictures. I wish I had more images of my husband/I with our families. We only have a few shots that aren't the best poses (hard to get everyone in sync) of our family members- many of them are hard to shoot- nieces/nephews who wiggle around, my mother who accidentally frowns sometimes when she's posing, my father in law who never makes eye contact with the camera. It might have been better to have individual shots with each family member. Also another thing worth mentioning- if you want dramatic images, you have to give Jorge the time to come up with them. We gave Jorge maybe a total of 15 minutes to shoot my husband and I- of which Jorge did an amazing job. I would absolutely use Jorge again for another photo shoot and would recommend him to any bride for their special day. Thanks Jorge!

Just unbelievable. Jorge is a true professional and artist in his field. You will be amazed at the moments that he takes and the photos he delivers. We first met Jorge at our engagement photos. I chose him after many hours searching on the internet for a Pittsburgh photographer who was reasonaly priced that produced photographs that were of a magazine / art gallery worthy caliber. Jorge came through. While he can obviously and easily capture the stereotypical wedding photos, he goes above and beyond that. His photos are incredible, breathtaking, artistic, and unique. People have told me that our wedding and engagement photos are some of the most stunning they have EVER seen. On our wedding day, he was timely, professional, and easy to work with. He graciously took all the photos I requested of him. He was also able to offer very incredible suggestions for locations and different poses. All you have to do is take a look at some of his example photos to know that he is not your ordinary wedding photographer. He a true artist and everyone should book him for their special event! Hiring Jorge as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions that we made vendor-wise. Neither my husband nor I are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but I knew that investing in a good photographer would be well worth the money, so I wanted to find somebody who was experienced in taking candid photos. Jorge's website really impressed me and when we met with him to sign the contract, he was incredibly sweet and we knew he would be great to work with. The day of, he was on time, patient, and helpful. He never made us feel awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera, but still directed us just enough to get the perfect shot. Things got a little hectic in the middle but Jorge and his assistant were easy-going and understanding. He suggested some great locations to take photos and chose unique camera angles of the ceremony and the reception. One of our guests said he was like a "photography ninja" because he always came out of nowhere to snap the perfect picture. All of the candid pictures from the reception are exactly what I wanted. We got our pictures back earlier than expected and every single one of them is fantastic. It's so hard to choose which ones to put in the album! I would recommend him to anyone.

We found Jorge after searching for Pittsburgh photographers with experience shooting Indian weddings, which have their own unique challenges to shoot. Jorge signed up for a very long day of shooting and was completely up to the task. He had great suggestions for our location shots and provided amazing coverage during the ceremony and reception. We were actually able to cover more locations than we anticipated. We're absolutely thrilled with the results and I couldn't provide a higher recommendation for his services.

Jorge did an amazing job with my wedding photos! He made the entire wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to adjust when I changed my mind several times throughout the day about where I'd like to take photos. He also worked really well with my other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. There were some shots I didn't get that I probably should have asked for, but overall we were very happy with our photos.

My wedding photographer cancelled on me a few months before my event and I stumbled across Jorge's website while searching for a replacement. Hiring him was the best decision I made for my wedding! When I contacted him, he was so calm and professional that he immediately put me at ease. I was worried because I was having a traditional Pakistani wedding with very different customs. I wanted a photographer who could be flexible. Jorge photographed my big, crazy, colorful 2-day wedding. He worked tirelessly despite shooting 2 days in a row. He always had a smile on his face and you can see how much he loves his job. We are thrilled with our pictures. I will recommend him to all my friends!

I picked Jorge because I liked his artistic style of photography. He was so easy and pleasant to work with. Really can't say enough great things about our wedding photos; they are absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend this photographer to anyone!
