e big day. I couldn’t imagine a better day. We were at oak grove and it was absolutely perfect and what we were looking for: rustic, casual yet elegant, and a BLAST!!! I swear my husband would still be dancing on the dance floor if he could. :)

aff member was readily available to step in to lend a hand whenever needed. After photographing 100+ weddings it's not often that I witness a staff member stop what they are doing to quickly assist in pinning boutonnières. Little things like this are so appreciated. The day of venue event coordinator, Macie, went above and beyond. She did it all with the most positive attitude and always a smile. Jumping from flipping tables and moving chairs to running a golf cart out for us — the hard work seemed effortless to her. During our evening bride and groom portraits, the bride looked over to Macie in the golf cart and said, "Do you ever not have a smile on your face, Macie?" This is a testament to how people notice that her personality and work ethic are a perfect fit for the job. Way to go, Macie! Jorgensen provided a wonderful experience for the families and vendors.

the time who helped us come up with the plans for our dream wedding. We had to switch planners half way through (because heather got promoted) and they handled the transition wonderfully. Macie (our new planner) was there for the final meeting and the day of and made sure all of our wedding dreams came to fruition. Picking up our materials the day after was easy and seemless. I truly can’t say enough positive things about Jorgensen and I am so grateful for their part in creating our dream wedding!

got married at Oak Grove in August and it was a dream!!! Everything was so stunningly beautiful & you really don't need to add many decorations because it is already so beautiful. We received (and are still receiving) compliments from our wedding guests on how our wedding was the most beautiful they have ever been to. The stafff is also absolutely fantastic and made everything so easy & seamless. We even had some issues with our outside caterer and the Jorgensen Farms staff was extremely helpful and stepped in to help with some of the issues. If you're looking for a fairytale wedding venue, Jorgensen Farms is it!!!

ing everyone umbrellas and blankets. Even when we got everyone inside the staff worked hard to get people blankets and make sure everyone was comfortable. Also, the venue... OH MY GOODNESS!!! The landscaping is beautiful! Especially in August when their hydrangea field is in full bloom. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves the outdoors and natures natural beauty. A big thank you to all the staff at this amazing venue for making my husband and my dreams come true!!!

my coordinator was quick to answer any emails/calls I had. They did my floral and they did AMAZING. The staff was great to work with, listened to me, adjusted my quote to fit my budget, and set everything up for me on the day of. I would give their floral team a 5/5. Here’s the issue I ran into that made me not give Jorgensen a 5/5 overall. I was working with a coordinator from booking the venue, all the way until the week before my wedding. Then, at the rehearsal, a different coordinator came. I was not told that I would have a different coordinator that day. One of my family friend’s helped us with coordinating on the day of and she said that although there were 4 staff members assigned to my wedding, they were hard to find during the reception. The new coordinator asked my family friend for a copy of the timeline of the day on my wedding day, which I had forwarded and walked through with my previous coordinator.

The lighting, paint color, full wall of windows-- we were BLOWN AWAY and so were our guests. We heard so many comments on how spectacular the venue was. Also, and possibly more important-- the PEOPLE. Corie was an amazing coordinator for us. She took care of everything and I felt so happy to have her share in our day. Ann Marie did our flowers and they were stunning. And, Val Jorgensen came straight from the landing at the airport to our reception to wish us well. Maybe she does that for everyone but it meant so much to me and my husband. Jorgensen Farm is NOT a run-of-the-mill venue-- it's truly memorable. You get so much more-- incredible venue with multiple options for ceremony and reception, tables and linens, coordination services, optional floral that was very reasonable, no service charges. And the setting just could not have been better. I couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else.

en it's your wedding day you really need that. They coordinated with all the vendors (band, musicians, photographer, catering -- look into Bosc + Brie, they're fantastic, Jeni's, etc) so I didn't have to worry about vendors showing up and not knowing where to go. If you're looking at this venue, I'd highly recommend going with the Floral team on site - my flowers were out of this world and Kelly was fantastic to work with. The whole staff truly go out of there way to make your wedding day perfect and I can't thank them enough. The venue itself is picture perfect. Yes they ARE very expensive, but weddings are something you only have once (hopefully!!!) and for us, it was completely worth the spend. Thank you to Val, Heather, and Kelly!

LY recommend this place !!!

tasting. Upon arriving to the Historic Barn, we checked in with the hostess and were informed of our table at which we were to sit. After that, we had zero direction or interaction with Jorgensen staff. Roughly twenty minutes after sitting, we saw two of the other tables getting up. Since no staff had said anything, our table wasn’t aware that this was a cue to get up if we wanted any of what was left of the finger foods, all of where were ice cold and picked over by the time our table got up there. This lacked organization in every sense of the word. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I thought someone would have welcomed all of guests or said something to indicate we were starting. A short time after this, our salads were brought out. Our server was unable to tell another guest at our table what was in one of the salads, making staff appear rather unprepared for this event. I would like to note that the salads, of all things, were the best items sampled on this day. My mom, a guest, had asked for a clean plate following the salads, for her entrees, and the server said “no, you only get this one.” I didn’t think her request was unreasonable. Like the service, the entrees were not so fantastic either. The chicken Marsala was undercooked. I had mentioned it out of concern to our server and she said “nope, it’s fine.” Okay. Then the beef dish that was brought out— the chimichurri sauce was the only redeeming quality to the plate. Watery potatoes and rare meat may be appealing to some but not the masses. The portobellos were seasoned well but were ice cold. Maybe it is supposed to be served cold? And lastly, the tortellini. I’m not sure I’ve ever had canned pasta in a restaurant but this tasted like it was a first. The pasta was mushy and literally tasted like it came from a can, like it was Chef Boyardee. Maybe the chef was new though or didn’t taste his own food. It was not satisfactory whatsoever. Prior to this, I was not so familiar with how tastings are typically run at Jorgensen but this was awful. The menu that we were originally given is nothing like what we consumed at the tasting. The only item on both menus were the cornbread finger food. I was told the tastings would highlight items off of the menu that we possessed prior to this tasting and that just the vegetables were the changing seasonal items. Between the poor quality of food and unprofessional service, I left the Farm in tears. I was beyond disappointed. All five of us that attended this tasting also ended up violently ill that same night. I’m not sure what it was but we consumed something that was either spoiled or undercooked. Food poisoning and a poor experience? After being told that tastings are nothing like the actual events, we canceled our reservation and had to relocate our wedding. How are we supposed to put faith in someone who ruined their own image and defended it by saying that the tasting and our actual wedding would be nothing alike? We are sorely disappointed in Jorgensen. If you are going to be using their caterers, please be sure that food is GOOD, is cooked, and is what they tell you it will be.

ly incredible, quick to communicate, helpful, and are there to make your wedding day go as seamlessly as possible. Heather, Emily, Jennifer, and everyone else were simply WONDERFUL to work with. They give you the freedom to do what you want with your day but also guide you where you need it. In my eyes, our day went without any hiccups, whether that was because there wasn't any or, more likely, there were things happening behind the scenes I still don't know about! Oh, and let's talk about the venue. It's simply GORGEOUS. Both the Historic Barn and Oak Grove are my favorite venues to photograph, so it made it an easy choice for our day. There's just something magical about everywhere you go, everything is so dreamy and beautiful. They are always working to make things even better than they are, if that's even possible! As a photographer, I've seen some of the changes they have made over the past few seasons (and are continuing to make) to make it better for future brides & grooms. I don't even know how that's possible, but they are always pushing to become more and more excellent. If you're considering having your wedding here, all I can say is DO IT. You won't regret it. It was seriously one of the BEST decisions for my wedding!! They truly care about you and giving you an amazing wedding day!

endors to ensure our day went as planned. The venue required very little decorating as it is so beautiful already. It's a wonderful thing to have the ceremony and reception at the same place and still get a different vibe for each event. Fresh air, grass and flowers is exactly what I envisioned for our ceremony and the set up in the barn was perfect for our reception. There was so much space! I liked that the bar was also in a different room than where we ate and danced. We opted for a live band and Jorgensen's was very accommodating, even allowing the band a separate room to get ready/take breaks. Wonderful experience that we and our families will never forget. Yes it was a little expensive, but if this is what you are looking for it is well worth it!

ust happened to be that one rainy day out of the month... and honestly, I think it made the pictures look even better! Oak Grove IS the most beautiful venue around... even when it is raining. In fact, It is pretty close to being the only venue in all of Ohio that has an inside space to hold 120+ people and an outdoor covered area to hold 120+....Making the event function selections versatile and accommodating for that "what if it rains" scenario. Val's attention to detail is evident in every aspect. She continues to improve upon her venue even when she doesn't "have to". Her standard's are high--- and that only makes the experience that more magical. When you can walk into a venue and recognize a Restoration Hardware light fixture... you know you are not only in the right place.... but in a place where the investment in representing only the best and most current style/ trends is a focus. The list continues when it comes to the luxury detail and treatment.... The venue is stunning- it "wowed" all of our guests. However the treatment from the Jorgenson Farms Team just really topped it all off. Its clear that everyone enjoys what they do and takes pride in where they work. We toured / booked with Val, got additional information from Emily and then planned with Heather. Everyone was quick to respond to our questions/ accommodating with all of our specific needs. I don't think we were told "no" once when it came to any of our special requests. Our day was spectacular... I just cant say enough and I just cant THANK everyone enough. Jorgenson Farms is truly a gem in Columbus and they deserve all of the continued success in the world. It is fair to say that we were more than pleased.

help us out wherever needed. Although it was a little pricier than some of the other venues that we had looked at, having chairs/tables/bathrooms/catering space/skilled staff on site and included in the price was worth it. So glad that we went with Jorgensen!

Emily did our tour and she was so warm, welcoming, and very professional. We did a second tour with Val, the owner, and our parents prior to booking the space. The property is also a working farm and you can tell Val pours her heart into it. We attended the grand opening/open house in May and the completed venue exceeded our expectations. Oak Grove is completely separate from the original Barn event space so you will not overlap with another wedding. It feels both modern and rustic and the use of indoor/outdoor space is why we ultimately chose to book. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful Oak Grove was! Our day-of-wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was extremely friendly and great to work with. We first met her at our rehearsal the night before the wedding. She brings such a positive and upbeat energy. We were able to bring all of our decorations and alcohol/desserts to store at the venue which made the wedding day SO much easier – and Jennifer even helped us carry the boxes! She went above and beyond for us and I have a feeling she was doing a lot behind the scenes to make the day run smoothly. All of the Jorgensen staff the day of the wedding was very friendly and the day turned out perfect. I have only two complaints: (1) We negotiated two lawn games into our contract, however the games were never set up. This was very disappointing since we had told guests these would be available (in our program and in our wedding invites) and we were really looking forward to playing them and keeping the wedding a little less traditional. (2) The communication with the pre-wedding coordinator Heather could be improved. I had to reach out to set up the initial meeting and also the week of the wedding to see what else was needed from us (like guest counts and layout, which we hadn’t provided yet). For the cost of the venue, I would have preferred a coordinator to take the first steps and reach out to us to schedule these things. When we met in person with Heather, I really liked her….she was personable and on top of things, it’s just that little extra of customer service that was missing for me. Overall, I would highly recommend Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove venue. Yes, the cost is slightly higher than some of the other venues in town, but the space is gorgeous and the staff and owner are wonderful.

email. Our day-of coordinator Jennifer provided wonderful support in aligning our photographer, band, caterer, and bridal party members. She even arranged to have a golf cart to transport our elderly relatives from the parking lot and one to transport my husband and I during our photos. The venue itself is beautiful (pictures don't do it justice!). The flower field & barn were great for a wedding/reception combo, with plenty of room for guests to mingle before/after the ceremony, as well as during the reception. The staff spends a lot of time and effort in maintaining the beautiful flowers & greens that are around the venue. They also are constantly improving all the venue's assets (both natural and buildings). In fact, when we first visited, they had not yet broke ground on the new bathrooms and since that time, they have expanded the bathrooms, kitchen, and re-done the roof. Can't say enough about the quality of service that JF provides. We knew from our first visit that we were in good hands and signed that day. Val's venue and team are of the highest quality and were largely responsible for making our day so memorable.

However, the whole process was so stress-free that people couldn't believe that I was getting married in such a short period of time when they would ask me. Oak Grove is so beautiful that it does not need much extra in terms of decorations. Everyone at our wedding told us how the food was the best that they have ever had at a reception, and I can't forget to mention how the chef even made me a personalized jar of homemade Siracha since he recognized a fellow spicy food lover at the tasting they hosted for us. Small things like that is what makes Jorgensen Farms stand out from the rest. I am so grateful to have been able to take advantage of everything outdoor that Oak Grove has to offer. It felt like we were getting married at an elegant greenhouse out in California right here in the middle of Ohio. It was important to us to pick a venue that values the local community and the land. Val lives this way through and through, with the farm selling organic herbs, vegetables, flowers, fruits, and wool products to local chefs and grocers. When we came up with the idea to honor the land by planting a tree, Val didn't laugh at the idea, but took it by the reigns. She invited us back to Oak Grove a couple of weeks after the wedding to plant a Red Bud tree, which is native to Ohio, in the gorgeous tree line up against the venue. We can't wait to see how the tree grows just as we grow in our marriage. If you are looking for the wedding of your dreams, choose Jorgensen!

For our vintage theme, we had four vintage cars around the location to help set the stage (thanks Val!) rented vintage china, and loaded up on flowers. The florist, caterer, DJ and photographer found Val's team to be easy to work with and flexible. To make it easy for us (bride and groom) there was a house for the bridal party to get ready in, and a house for the groomsmen to get ready. It was a magical day made even better by the venue. It was a dream.

They made our outdoor wedding dreams come true with string lights and a beautiful ceremony setting against the farms oak trees. My husband and I are so thankful to have had such a beautiful back drop. The only downside is it is expensive and their communication isn't always the greatest. Still, love this venue and hope to attend a wedding there again sometime!

well. Everything worked out wonderfully. Suzi made gorgeous bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids and created beautiful centerpieces. This was after months of back and forth together creating the exact look we wanted based on some DIY elements we would add in. Suzi was open to all my ideas and created the exact look we were going for. The venue was in tip top shape for our guests upon arrival. Heather helped a ton from the planning process through the rehearsal the day before and then day-of. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Jorgensen Farms. It was very pricey and any add-ons (candles, etc) were overpriced in our opinion. But that being said, we felt it was all worth it because of the experience, ease of planning everything that was included. The farm was beautiful and we have not stopped getting compliments on our wedding. We are so happy with our choice! Thank you Val and all of you at Jorgensen!

uch easier. The employees were very helpful and helped organize, push certain items along, and make sure we were not getting behind. The constructive criticism I would have would be for the decorations, some of the contract details, along with the minute details such as fire pit, etc., and personnel changes immediately before the wedding. Following the wedding reception we apparently had a miscommunication with some of our personal decor with the staff members as far as how much of the decorations needed to be completely removed and/or moved out of the main area to a designated area, and by what times. Some of our personal linens were also misplaced and unable to be found until we made a phone call to a friend/vendor and found them ourselves. Decorations and timing were discussed multiple times and everyone seemed to be on the same page. I believe these issues could be resolved in assuring the specific details of decorations, timing, placement, extras (fire pits) etc. be clarified more clearly in the contract. I would also recommend marking personal decorations so that Jorgensen staff is aware it is not a vendor's. My comment toward personnel changes is that we worked directly with one member the entire time leading up to our wedding and had a different member there the night of the rehearsal, which appeared to add some confusion as she was not fully aware of some of the details. Jorgensen is an overall amazing venue with a laid back casual feel and I wouldn't change our experience there. I think some minor tweaks in the contract and assuring future customers AND the staff are both crystal clear on specific details will help avoid confusion and potential conflict. For the net cost of the venue and other invested items I would think this should be a smooth process to accomplish and appease all parties involved.

wedding without a hitch. We received so many compliments on the organization of the day and the stunning beauty of the barn. The barn comes with a huge chandelier, string lights, dried herb displays etc. The addition of the new mint bar created the perfect amount of extra space. Heather and Val are amazing to work with- SO organized and helpful. Suzi and the stylists did an incredible job. My flower arrangements were exactly what I envisioned. Use as many services as you can from the farm(linens, styling, organic flowers-grown on site!), and everything will truly come together for your perfect fairy tale! I would get married here 10 times over :) it was a perfect way to start our happily ever after.

They have umbrellas for guests to use to get out to them, but we all now how awkward trying to close one while opening/shutting the door and standing on the top of the steps can be! That being said, that alone did not deter from the beauty of the venue...if we could afford it, we would do it all over again! :)

The night of the rehearsal dinner I suggested that some tables be moved. Kathryn said she would make it happen and she did. Jess and Ryan's wedding could not have gone any smoother or been more beautiful. If you are looking for a barn wedding, this is the place to go. Thank you again Jorgensen Farm for the most beautiful wedding.

has a right to know. I signed my contract with Jorgensen over a year before our wedding date. In that time, the contract was changed SEVERAL times. No one bothered to make me aware of these changes. A few months before the wedding we had a meeting with the coordinator. We made plans for an indoor ceremony that would be flipped during cocktail hour for the reception. Everything was fine during that meeting. Our next meeting was one month before the wedding. It was at this meeting that I was told that my whole plan for the wedding had to be changed. The coordinator decided that having the ceremony AND reception indoors would no longer be possible unless I spent more money on staff or chose to leave the tables in the arena during the ceremony. This was absolutely mind boggling to me. Just a couple of months before, I was told that this would not be a problem at all. I was then also informed that contrary to my rental agreement, I was no longer allowed to store decorations on their property the week before the wedding and my setup time was completely taken away. I was told by the owner when I initially signed the contract that I had Friday evening to set up and Sunday morning to tear down. All of these things were a large determining factor in my choosing Jorgensen considering the small amount of decor in the barn (it had to be a DIY wedding). I let the coordinator know about my concerns and she did fix the storage situation, but she did not acknowledge any of my other problems. Although I was extremely upset, I chose to put all of this aside so I could enjoy our wedding day. Unfortunately, they put a damper on that day too. The morning of the wedding the coordinator dropped the bomb on me that all of my decorations had to be out of the barn by 11pm THAT NIGHT. My husband's and my family worked so hard after the wedding to clean up. My husband and I actually stayed for a while helping to clean as well (which we NEVER should have had to do!!) After all of this trouble, they called my father to let him know that we must have accidentally taken ONE of their mason jars home with us. He took it all the way back to them and a few weeks later we realized that our homemade cupcake stand had been left there. NO ONE bothered to call us about that. All this being said, Jorgensen is a beautiful place to be married, but be sure to keep documention of EVERYTHING you are promised. I believe that one of the main responsibilities of ANYONE in the wedding business is to be supportive of the brides vision and to add less stress to an already overwhelming situation. Jorgensen was the only stressful part of my wedding planning and I believe that says a lot about the way they do business.

We were trying to figure out if we could use a family friends' street rod for my ceremony entrance and Katherine worked with us and the driver of the car to determine where he could drive on the field. He couldn't drive right up to the aisle but we still got good pictures with the car after the ceremony. Katherine was really helpful on the day of, I went out to the barn to look at the cake and noticed one of my centerpieces had blown over and the water had saturated the tablecloth. I found her and let her know and she took care of it within minutes. Also, after the reception started, some of my family asked if they fans could be turned on so I found Katherine and asked her and she had them turned on before I even got back to tell my family that she was taking care of it. Overall, we had a good experience with Jorgensen and would recommend them to other brides but I've also heard they raised their prices quite a bit for next year so it may not be as good of a value as it was for us.

I emailed the person doing our flowers two weeks prior to our wedding and did not hear back from her until the day before our wedding - even after sending multiple emails. As any person who has had a wedding knows, the last thing you want to be doing the day before your wedding is worrying if you are going to have centerpieces!! Overall, the actual wedding outweighed any negative experience and I don't believe I would've gone elsewhere. I just think a little step up in the customer service would've gone a long way for me and while a wedding planner is included, I would suggest hiring your own wedding planner if it is in your budget.

le property is magazine worthy. The staff was fantastic to work with and really catered to my needs. The day of our wedding, Katherine and her assistant (also named Katherine) definitely brought their "A" game. They were on top of the set-up, schedule, and even at the end of the night asked the guests how they enjoyed themselves. We were truly blessed to have such amazing (and without a doubt calm & patient) professionals assist us with ensuring our wedding was perfect. Not to mention, the owner Val is a sweetheart. You would never have guessed that being a successful wedding venue is not the main purpose of this farm. My flowers (bridal party & centerpieces) were grown on the farm and were beautiful. Cassandra, the on-site at the farm, put the bouquets and centerpieces together for me and I could not have been happier and absolutely went well over my expectations. The only negative to Jorgensen Farms are the bathrooms. The farm runs on septic and therefore has a handful of "luxury" mobile bathrooms on-site. I felt the bathrooms were clean, spacious, and actually pretty nice but some of my guests could not get over the concept of restrooms on wheels. The yellow house, which is the house the bridal party uses to get ready, has a small powder room that the bride can utilize throughout the reception instead of the luxury restrooms outside. It's tight, but I feel had more space to move around in a large dress. If you are looking for a rustic/barn/outdoor event, Jorgensen Farms is the best venue in the area to have your event. The cost is a bit high, but worth every cent. My husband and I were very satisfied with the end result. I would definitely recommend this venue to a friend.

o pick my date. The price was a little steep for just a space rental buuuut it was so beautiful I knew it was worth it (unfortunately, they've more than doubled their prices). When I booked them they didn't have the event coordinator they have now and I really think I slipped through the cracks once they hired one. There were quite a few things we had to work out because they changed their contact 3-4 times after we signed (annoying) but we usually made it out on the right side. I received absolutely no emails or phone calls from the event coordinator during my planning, which made it difficult to plan the reception. We did eventually meet with the coordinator a couple weeks before my wedding, which was nice because I was finally able to get an idea of how the set up would be. They allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner on the farm, which was great because it gave us more time to put together the site that evening. I was so happy with the way everything turned out and how it all looked.

both very up to date on everything that was going on, and she was very understanding and patient with my situation. My guests loved the venue- not only the buildings, but the beautiful gardens, the "awesome toilets" (as my nephew was thoroughly impressed), but also the organisational skills and helpfulness of Katherine on the day. We had amazing weather, but know that if it wouldn't have been less than beautiful sunshine, Katherine would have made sure it was perfect! I am so happy with everything about my day and so thankful for everyone at Jorgensen for making it a fairy tale day!! I wouldn't have changed a thing!!

through that your dream wedding is exactly what you wanted, down to the last detail. The week of my wedding was so calm and collected, because Katherine was there if I had any concerns, but knowing that she had control of the situation, put me at ease. This is who you want to coordinate your wedding. The farm is it's own beauty, so additional floral arrangements are not necessary. It is a comfortable setting, so a DJ or band will only make your reception that much more laid back. Your guests will feel comfortable, in turn making you feel comfortable and you will enjoy your wedding day on Jorgensen Farms. If I had to do it all over again, I would go right back.

the banisters made for a fresh smell and beautiful look. It just so happened to downpour 5 minutes before the ceremony was planned to start. The Jorgensen crew made a quick transition to our rain plan and had beautiful yellow umbrellas ready for the bridal party to walk with. I do not have any negative comments about my experience.

remony cocktail hour, to the intimate and beautiful candlelit ceremony in the main barn, to the big reveal of the riding arena for dinner--it was simply perfect. My guests were blown away by the beauty and comfort of the farm. Our wedding was planned in three months and went off with out a hitch. (If there were hitches happening the professional and gracious team at Jorgensen Farms certainly never mentioned a word--which means we could focus on having fun). Our experience is what I would hope for every couple to experience on their wedding day: pure joy. I can't say enough fabulous things about our big day. If a perfect wedding venue is your style, you should absolutely consider Jorgensen Farms.

l areas and for me and my husband. Even though they had events every day prior to mine, she made us feel like we were the only event! Such focus and attention was given. The farm itself is GORGEOUS. If you're a bride and your not looking to do a lot of decorating, this place is perfect! They have beautiful flower planters, dried herbs hanging, a lovely chandelier, etc. all in all, I highly recommend this place!

lly compared with other barns/farms we looked at. We originally planned to have the ceremony under a tree near the stream, but unfortunately the rain came right at ceremony time. not to fear! the day was not lost! the barn was ready and open for us to move the ceremony too at the last minute. It ended up being an intimate standing room ceremony that was so perfect and whimsical! The staff is very friendly, especially Ashton who was so helpful answering all of our questions from the very beginning!!! Katherine (the event coordinator) was very nice and helpful and kept us on our toes so that we didn't forget anything. Val poked her head out to comfort me as I watched out the window of the yellow house as the rain began to fall on some of the guests out in the field! She is so sweet and helped me not freak out :) Overall, everything was perfect. I would recommend Jorgensen Farms for your perfect backyard barn/rustic wedding. Thanks guys!!!

was a great night for my guests. I had it in late October and the barn is unheated. Some heaters are provided but I would suggest using this place in fall when it's not so cold.

re out of our day. They yellow barn is beautiful and made for amazing photos, we even ate off of tables made from the original barn doors. I honestly couldn't have dreamed up a more amazing experience. I can't wait to go back to the farm and participate in some of the events they host. the farm is beautiful, so many great photo ops! Our ceremony was held in the "turkey barn" which provided a great unique farm backdrop to our vows. (There are many spots throughout the farm to have a ceremony, if you chose to have yours there. We chose the turkey barn not only because it was cute & fit perfectly with out theme, but also because the ground was wet in the back field--remember to account for weather being that this is a primarily outdoor venue!:)) We had close to 200 guests, so we added a tent to the barn and we comfortably fit all guests & a dance floor. Not only was the farm unique & perfect, the catering company, Two Caterers was WONDERFUL! The food is beyond delicious, the staff is extremely professional (yet fun!) and they work exactly with your ideas for your wedding. Two Caterers is the sole catering company for Jorgensen and they fit each other very well with a focus on local and creative. As a bride or groom with a large wedding, keep in mind you'll have to rent porta-potties (which are actually really nice!). And since it's in the country and not too close to major hotels, we rented a "party bus" to pick up some of our out of town guests to take them back to the hotel at the end of the night. We also had a mini bonfire with roasted marshmellows, wine + beer bar & cupcakes. I would have my wedding at Jorgensen Farms with Two Caterers again & again & again! I loved everything about this site. If you are a DIY bride who loves to be unique, this is the perfect place for you! Our families and friends had a blast and still rave about the location, the food and the party!!
