Our wedding cake was 3 different flavors, white chocolate, strawberry and lemon. me save you the research time, Jo is definitely the way to go. I needed a cake that could feed at least 150 and a grooms cake that could do 75. Additionally, I had a specific design in mind and I wanted 5 different flavors (3 for wedding cake and 2 for grooms). Every baker I spoke with unanimously said that my design could only be achieved with fondant. The problem was I HATE fondant. Even from a "high end" caterer that has theirs brought in from Italy down in Nashville- it tasted like a flavorless gum that was impossible to swallow. Then I met Jo... she did my whole cake just the way I wanted in buttercream only. And Oh My Goodness, it was delicious! And it still tasted phenomenal one year later on our anniversary! The cake was so moist and the icing was just the perfect balance of sweet and smooth. Additionally, we bought our cakes for exponentially less than competitors and they couldn't even deliver exactly what I was wanting. When planning a wedding it is so important to deal with kind and compassionate people that have a heart for their jobs. Jo and her mom embody every ideal of professionalism with personalities that make them feel like family. Everything about Jo's presence is welcoming and I am so grateful that I found such a jovial and talented artist to make my wedding day complete!
