It was a pleasure working with Jose Botella films for our wedding day. Arantza was so responsive and easy to communicate with - we were so appreciative of flexibility and willingness to accommodate our specific requests on an expedited timeline. If you are looking for good natured, down to earth, and able to go with the flow video team, look no further! Additionally, they were very professional, organized and seamless in their work - I could from the moment we spoke that we would be in good hands and I was able to rest easy on the wedding day because of that. Plus, they did everything with a smile which added to the good vibes of the day! Additionally, we were very happy with the final product! All the important moments of our wedding were captured beautifully and we received the footage even earlier than we anticipated. I can't sing Jose Botella film's praises enough and highly recommend them as videographers for your wedding day!

A lot of couples debate whether or not they want (or *need*) a videographer. We kept saying we would probably only watch a wedding video once a year, we can do without it. But we found this duo and immediately loved their style. It was unlike any we had ever seen - they are true artists. They happily worked with us to meet our price point, and we were thrilled to be able to use them. If it wasn't them, it wasn't going to be anyone. In an effort to remain totally honest in my review, we did have trouble rescheduling with them when our wedding was cancelled 48 hours prior due to the NYC surge of COVID in December 2021. To be clear, they were reinforcing the clauses present in their contract which we did agree to and sign. However I do feel the need to mention it because, as all COVID brides can attest to, some businesses can be more flexible than others. After much communication, and some luck on our side, they ultimately did complete the job under the parameters of the original contract for our new wedding date. All of my communication was with Arantza. She was a joy to work with day of, which is is such an important quality! She had wonderful energy, and made us feel very comfortable on camera. For the majority of the time I was completely unaware of their presence, which makes for a beautifully candid representation of the day. It is incredible how they somehow captured exactly who we are through song choices, impeccable editing, and the seemingly small moments they included in our video. They are really able to gain a sense of who you are in the short time they work with you. I especially loved the option to include mics for vows and raw footage of speeches. The day is such a blur and being able to go back and really take in what our loved ones said has been such a gift. We did not receive an early preview as other reviews have mentioned. Once we received the final video we relived our wedding in a way we didn't imagine possible. We probably watched it 15 times in that first month alone! Our 2 year old also requests to watch it regularly, asking for "mama and papa" on the TV. And now, over 6 months later, my elderly grandmother has passed. The shots of her enjoying my wedding have become one of my most prized possessions. This is a truly priceless product you will value for the rest of your life!

Arantza and Jose are the dream videography duo! They were both so easy to work with in the months leading up to our wedding and worked so well with our photographer on the day of. Our video perfectly captured our big day. Every time we watch it, it brings us right back! Some of the best money we spent was with Jose Botella Films. We will cherish their work for years to come!

Jose and Arantza are fantastic videographers, blending easily into our special day while getting a ton of footage we’ll cherish forever. Even more impressive have been the results - within 48 hours, they had produced a perfect trailer. The turnaround time was impressive, but they did not sacrifice quality at all. It was well cut, creative, beautiful. End-to-end Jose and Arantza were great to work with, and we’re thrilled with the results. We’d highly recommend.

We looked at many videographers, and all of the videographers we saw produced generic and boring videos. I knew we found the right match for our wedding when I watched 5 or 6 wedding videos Jose and Arantza created of complete strangers. Because every video was fun, energetic, romantic, gave me the chills, made me laugh, and were clearly made with so much love. Besides the amazing work they create, they were an absolute JOY to have on our wedding day. They are just as fun, energetic, and silly as their videos turn out. We immediately felt comfortable with them, which is important because we spent a lot of time with them the day of the wedding. We already saw a teaser of our wedding video and it is incredible. Family and friends agree -- Jose Botella Films is the real deal!!

If you are even considering Arantza and Jose, do not think twice and just go do it. They truly made our day so easy and comfortable, and not just for us but our guests. I can't tell you how many people in our wedding party and family said how awesome they were. They were an amazing addition to our day, and I can't envision it without them.

We were on the fence about whether or not we wanted to do a wedding video and: a) we are so happy we did; and b) we are thrilled we went with Arantza and Jose! They are both extremely kind and patient people and were happy to talk through the logistics of the day to make sure they captured all our key moments. Working with Jose and Arantza was simply wonderful! We originally hired them for our April 2020 wedding but had to postpone (three times, to be exact). Through it all, they were so kind, communicative, and flexible. We finally got married this past November and they were both such pros the day of. I frequently forgot they were there because they were so good at getting many shots on the sly. And the finished video!! I still can't get over how special and sweet it is - it perfectly captured the feel of the day and included all of my favorite moments (and made both my parents cry). I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know who needs a videography team!

Our wedding took place during the height of Covid, and our original wedding videographers had to cancel due to travel restrictions. Arantza and Jose jumped in just weeks before our wedding, and dedicated their time and focus to deeply understand our style and vision. Their presence at our wedding was incredibly warm and positive. Throughout the process, they were generous and flexible as conditions changed, or when a special filming opportunity popped up. Arantza was an absolute pleasure to work with on our big day. She was able to work seamlessly with our photographer and made it incredibly easy on us as the couple to capture all the amazing moments from our wedding without feeling intrusive or putting too much pressure on us. They were also able to easily handle the logistics of filming at two separate locations while we got ready. Overall, it was a wonderful experience working with Arantza and would recommend their services to anyone!

Jose and Arantza are such an amazing duo and having them as our videographers for our wedding day was truly a highlight! After doing an extensive amount of research, we knew wanted something a little "different", and their editing and style jumped out right away. Their expertise was apparent from day one, with seamless communication, through the entire day making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and afterward with keeping us updated on video timing and making every moment as personal and thoughtful as possible. Not only did they gift us with the most beautiful and unique videos (that we and our families have watched countless times), but they went above and beyond with additional captured moments of the day that we will cherish forever. Easiest wedding decision was to book Arantza and Jose! After our initial call with Arantza, and also having to reschedule our wedding due to Covid, Arantza was always accommodating and responded quickly to any of our questions. Arantza and Jose bring such positive energy to your wedding day and help guide you along the way. They made us feel so comfortable and there were even times that we forgot we were bring filmed. They are so professional, kind, talented, and very detailed to understand what are the important moments that you want captured. Our wedding film felt like a movie and not the typical wedding videos other vendors provide.

Arantza and Jose are the absolute dream videography team. I did a LOT, I mean VERY extensive research to find the best videographer, so we were not settling for anything average. Both photo and video were the most important vendors for me so we were fine with going over-budget. Jose Botella Films stood out amongst the rest of the videos I researched because their style is so unique, energetic, and they have the highest level of creativity. It’s not your traditional wedding video which I was tired of seeing everywhere else. They were able to capture every element of our wedding, from all the emotions to every detail of the venue and decor. Their work ethic is supreme- you can really tell they are so passionate about their work and their clients and it really showed the day of and in the final videos. We received our sneak peek video after just 2 days after our wedding day so that was definitely a treat! We received all our videos within the timeframe they mentioned, which felt long but it was worth the wait! Of all our vendors, I can say that they were the team I was most excited and confident to book, and they were my favorite vendor on the day of the wedding. Arantza and Jose made the day go seamlessly- they were both so helpful and professional and honestly loved having them around throughout the day. I spent more time with Arantza and she’s super sweet, easy to talk, and very understanding. We feel very lucky to have found them. Fast forward 6 months after our wedding, the best decision we had ever made was having Jose and Arantza as our videographers. They were able to capture every magical moment and allow us to relive our fairytale wedding. The dynamic duo are absolutely amazing, professional and so talented. They go above and beyond to meet our needs, exceeding our expectations. We couldn't have asked for anyone better and will treasure our beautiful footages for a lifetime.

From the very first time we reached out to Jose and Arantza they were quick to respond, super helpful, and already seemed excited about our big day. Every time we interacted with them from our first Facetime meeting until the day they delivered our video they were responsive and helpful. Given that we were having a small covid wedding, Arantza worked with us to put together a package that made most sense for the specifics of our day. As the day got closer, she provided helpful information, questions, and made sure she fully understood exactly what we were going for on the day of our wedding. Once the day arrived, right away, it felt like we knew Arantza and Jose forever. They guided us through the day and made us all feel so comfortable. You knew they were there when you needed to, and they were invisible at all the right times. They somehow struck the perfect balance of guiding us to make our film special, but also captured the moments of us being ourselves and enjoying our time together. Lastly (and most importantly) all of the content that Arantza and Jose provided to us was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It reminded us of all the emotions from the day. It felt like we were reliving the entire experience again. We cannot thank Arantza and Jose enough and we look forward to being able to work with them again. I would 100% recommend them to capture your special moments. You will not regret it!

It's hard to put into words an experience like the one we had with Jose and Arantza. We had done the typical wedding routine of watching tons of videos and scanning through portfolios and everything felt like a settle. Then we watched a few teasers of Jose and Arantza and then a few full videos and fell in love. The work was stunning. We didn't get our hopes up b/c we figured they would be way out of our budget or booked. The interview process was incredibly easy and they didn't make us feel like we were just another wedding couple going through the same lists and checking boxes. We really connected with them and we felt such positive energy and genuine excitement from them to film our wedding. It was such a great moment. From start to finish the planning, professionalism, experience and overall sense of comfort was incredible. We truly felt like we were in great hands, right from the get go. No matter how busy Jose and Arantza were they were always responsive and went over the top to answer questions leading right up to the day of the wedding. Even though we asked the same questions over and over in different ways.... they didn't get frustrated or impatient with us. What was most incredible about this team was how thorough and helpful they were. They really guided us through the motions and how to act/feel/be natural without really being in your face with equipment. It was the truly the perfect balance. When we needed someone to help us through stressful family pics or last minute hiccups, they were there to reassure us with a positive smile and a "take a deep breath, you look great, you got this" moment. They were so much more than a film team for us and we cannot recommend them enough. The results speak for themselves but you will not be disappointed by them, their team and their work.

Jose and Arantza are truly some of my favorite vendors from our wedding. They are (no exaggeration) a breeze to work with, so incredibly kind and their work is unbelievable. They sent us a teaser video within 48 hours of our wedding which let us re-experience all the rush and happiness from the day that we were still obsessing over. We know the final video will blow us away! We also have to thank this duo so much for their hard work, spending a little extra time with us on the day of to capture the groom’s suite before heading over the venue. They also spent time with us on zoom to get to know us better as well as a site visit so they could come prepared with the best equipment, which we truly appreciate. Those steps really set us at ease knowing they were prepared for an amazing final product. I also really appreciated that while they were with us all day and so incredibly kind in those moments, they also somewhat faded into the background so that they could capture the day as it truly was. If you’re looking for an amazing videographer that’s not a cookie cutter experience, I cannot recommend them enough!

Jose and Arantza are two of the most kind and talented people that we’ve had the pleasure to meet. We were so stressed the day of our wedding. It was a covid wedding with 12 guests. We rented an Airbnb and had to set up a lot of the wedding ourselves. Once Jose and Arantza arrived, the stress began to melt away. They were so calming. We’re not the type that likes to pose but I never felt like I was being filmed. It was all so natural. They made us laugh so many times and helped us feel so comfortable. They thought of the best poses and really brought out our love for each other. I knew, even before they left the venue, that I was going to love the video. That night, they posted a quick little IG video of our wedding. It was so unexpected and so exciting to see. It was obviously beautifully done. The fact that they took the time to do this after a long day working was so meaningful to us. When we received our wedding video, we were floored. It was perfect. They truly captured our personality. The editing was so well done and their music choice was spot on. My husband is a Star Wars fan and they took the time to add a few star wars themed snippets. It was just so beautiful to watch and really made us emotional. It felt like a professional movie made about our love lives. I can’t even stress how perfect the video was. In my opinion, they are the best filmography duo. I will continue to use them for any event that warrants video. Beautiful people with beautiful work.

First I would like to thank Jose and Arantza for the amazing work they've done for me and continue to do for others! I reached out to Arantza three weeks before my wedding in October 2020, in desperate need for a videographer. She quickly responded and to my luck had availability for my wedding day ! Having heard my budget her and Jose curated a package that would match! She quickly got me situated with how things would work the day of and the days leading to it along with sending me questions about my husband and I and the music we like so she can get to know us. Soon enough the big day had arrived, despite the chaos that happens during weddings, they navigated themselves through it so smoothly and captured so many beautiful moments! After seeing the feature film and the highlight, all I can say is I'm so happy to have entrusted them with documenting my special day and did not regret it one bit!

OMG, I do not even know where to begin with Jose and Aranza. We just completely and totally adored them and loved having them so much! They are so talented, polished, fun, amazing and kind. It absolutely made our wedding day having them for cinematography. Hiring them was the easiest and best decision ever! You can tell instantly by meeting them that this team know exactly what they are doing while at the same time being so down to earth and making even the most awkward bride (aka me) comfortable infront of a camera. Everyone that we have shown our videos has said that it was hands down the best cinematography that they have ever seen. I really can't say enough great things about them, they are the best. I honestly can't imagine there being a better cinematography team anywhere, I seriously can't even put into words how amazing and talented these people are. To be able to capture what they did is amazing. They just made everything so fun. Please take the time to read this because I'm going to break down my experience from beginning to end. From the second I messaged Jose & Arantza, they were extremely kind and easy to work with. They answered my emails right away and answered any questions I had. Before they work with anyone, they really want to take the time to get to know you WHICH IS SO IMPORTANT!!! This is what makes them so amazing because they want to know who you are and what you like so that they can produce the best wedding video possible. My family is fairly cultural/religious, and of course there's alot of things that vary between cultures and religions. Jose and Arantza were so interested in learning the customs my family and I did so that they can both respect it, and also catch any important moments to us specifically that they may not have known about if they didn't ask. How incredible is that? I instantly knew that aside from their talent, they were just amazing people. After we decided to work together (which was the easiest decision in the world for me), COVID was getting bigger and bigger. And of course, things had to keep changing unfortunately. But they were SO KIND AND PATIENT with how many changes happened. They kept encouraging my husband and I that this is going to be the most beautiful day of our lives and it's all going to be worth it. Imagine your vendor emotionally supporting you! They felt more like friends than vendors and that's what make's them so incredible. They checked in MULTIPLE times before the wedding to make sure they had all of the information and asked if there was anything else we needed/wanted before the big day. Now on the big day.... SOOOOO PROFESSIONAL!!!! They were laughing along and having a great time but knew what they were there to do and they did it seamlessly. I've watched my video like 8 times already and I can't get over it. There were so many moments where I was like "I don't even remember there being a camera in front of me". That's how seamlessly they were able to catch every important moment. We didn't even notice them and they didn't make people uncomfortable with the camera in the slightest bit. They made themselves present when they needed to but seemed invisible during the most special moments, WHICH IS TALENT, because everyone freezes up in front of a camera and they made sure that didn't happen. After the wedding, they were amazing with giving us updates on our video and even delivered it earlier than the expected timeframe!!!! I don't think that's something to count on, but it definitely shows how hard working they are. I think a lot of people don't as much emphasis on a videographer as they do with a photographer and I'm begging you, THIS IS NOT THE CASE! Dont' get me wrong, I loved my pictures, but the video made me cry.. it let me relive the night. It let me see moments I don't even remember happening, and see some things we may have missed that they were able to catch for us. It brought our wedding day back to life and it's something we're always going to be able to go back and experience again and again thanks to them. I promise you, working with this team is going to be one of your best decisions, you won't regret it.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Jose Botella as our videographers. The first thing I loved about them was that they took the time to connect with us and really get a feel for the type of couple my husband and I are. They wanted to make sure our video really represented us and didn’t look cliche at all. During the wedding they made our families and our bridal parties feel exceptionally comfortable. My bridesmaid felt empowered to show their personalities and our video segments came out fierce! They spoke to our girls as well to get to know their personalities and they felt comfortable strutting their stuff in front of the camera After the wedding they were amazing at communicating our timeline of when we should receive the video. Once we did it was a modern twist on the traditional wedding video and they made sure to add all the important moments. It was like reliving our wedding; I couldn’t stop watching it! If you want a personable experience where you really feel like your video will speak to who you are as a couple I’d hire them.

We have no words to describe how grateful we are for the work of Jose and Arantza. From the first contact we had (by skype) we knew we made the best decision to choose for them. They are so professional and so warmhearted at the same time. We had so much fun with them on our special day, but also we havent even noticed them most of them time. A perfect combination.
