Joseph made my wedding incredible. He did my hair, makeup, and the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids and mother/mother in law. His work is impeccable. He was kind, considerate, patient, thorough, and conscientious. He made the experience for myself, my family and friends that much more enjoyable. Joseph takes his time to make sure that his clients are not just satisfied, but fully thrilled. He made me feel beautiful and confident on one of the most important days of my life! He also did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, which was just as spectacular. I will absolutely be using Joseph's services again as he is now my new hair-dresser! If you want someone skilled, dedicated, and passionate for your hair and/or makeup needs, do not hesitate to use Joseph! He takes the makeup and hair experience beyond the job itself, and makes it that much more meaningful. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

This has been the most bizarre experience with a vendor we've ever had. I was devastated. Starting with my trial. 1- We hired JA because of a personal referral. After reaching out he told me I was IN LUCK, he was available on my wedding day. On the day of our scheduled trial in NY, he informed me he would be late for our 2pm appointment. I replied to shoot an ETA when he had the chance. At 4pm I asked how things were looking, no response. At 6pm he said he was on his way and asked for my address. By then I was unavailable. I understand things happen and we rescheduled the trial. I literally just wanted a braid with some volume. So when our trial did happen I was happy with it, braid to the left side. Simple. Instead of paying the trial and deposit, we paid him $700 so the day of balance would be less to worry about. (Lessoned learned). He was to do my hair, my grandmothers, mother, & mother in law. After taking our payment, Joseph Anthony disappeared for several weeks. He did not answer calls, texts or emails. I began to get worried, not only for my day but was HE ok? Should I just refund and get a new stylist? After waiting some time, I emailed asking him and stated I would not be upset and could go in a different direction with my refund. He replied to that saying he would be there. He was sick, now fine, but had meaning to get back to me. Told me he would arrive at 11:45am with a 12p start time for a 2:45 go time. I didn’t hear from him again…UNTIL 2. ON THE DAY OF OUR WEDDING he randomly arrived at our home WITH LESS THAN hour before the wedding ceremony. No communication, no explanation, nothing. Again didn’t respond to calls, emails, texts. Then I get a call from a friend of his that he is outside. He was not outside at the time of the call. But he told us he had been sitting in the driveway. After being asked to leave he refused to do so and entered the house demanding to get the hair done, stating he wasn’t going to leave. I felt I had no options and didn’t want this kind of drama obviously on this 1 special day I get to have. I reluctantly said yes, with 30 mins until go time again just being a side braid with body but that he had to sign a contract stating I would get my money back in full. He signed and said it would take 15/20 mins. 3. Of course this late arrival delayed our ceremony and stressed everyone out. I was most excited for the pictures THAT I WAS AN HOUR LATE FOR. But the hair wasn't even done right. It was done so poorly and rushed it fell out as soon as I arrived to venue that was 7 mins away. (and was not the same as trial). He followed to venue but and tried to fix it where I told him I had no more time for him and I was just going to have to go into this and look back at my wedding photos disappointed. My mother was SO because she spent her whole morning prepping, thinking she would have her hair done for her. 4. He has since disappeared again, and reappeared some time later with another change of plans. He is now offering to refund SOME OF our money at times of his choosing. We no longer want anything to do with this vendor. Working with Joseph Anthony is an absolute disaster, and he has shown no remorse at all. We are completely shocked by the whole situation. And reading the comments on Facebook it looks like we are not alone. This vendor either does not care about their reputation, or does not care about the customer. I would not be surprised if there is legal action against this person.

To start off Joseph Anthony has been such a pleasure to work with for my wedding. He did my hair for my engagement party, bridal shower and wedding...cannot thank him enough for his work and dedication making sure my matron and maid of honor, mom, grandma and I were happy with our hair. I even had a 2nd look for the reception which came out awesome! He was with us for the whole day and even got to join the party after all the touch-ups. I love that I found my favorite hairdresser I go to on the regular through booking him for my wedding! Absolutely recommend. <3

Joseph did a spectacular job doing the hair for both my bridesmaids and myself. My hair stayed perfect all through the night. Highly recommend!
