This is the first store my fiancé and I went to for wedding bands and I'm glad we did. Our first visit to the store was a little busy so we looked at man bands and women's bands without diamonds. I was surprised how much I like the hand-carved rings and asked Howard to contact me with finalized pricing estimates. We visited the store on a late Saturday afternoon and first thing Monday morning Howard called me back. We returned to the store a few weeks later and I ended up purchasing a different ring than I had received estimates on, and my fiancé purchased his tungsten carbide ring. Joseph Gann does have a wide selection with lots of different, unique options which I really appreciated. I can't wait to go back and get my runner up wedding band as an anniversary present!

Matt Gann provided us with great service and still does each time I go in for a free ring clean or to browse. They obviously care about each customer and have the personal touch of a local family business.

A few people at Josph Gann helped me out in deciding on my wedding band. I wanted something pretty specific, with two-toned gold, at a reasonable price. I was able to put together exactly what I wanted at a better price than I could even find via online jewelry venders. The turn-around was very quick, and Herb Gann, the senior jeweler who sized my band, inscribed it for free. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and helpful. They've clearly been doing this for a long time, and know the business. I would definitely recommend them!

We had my engagement ring reset at Joseph Gann and ended up purchasing both of our wedding rings there. Josh Gann, who is very knowledgeable and experienced in the business, gave us good sizing advice and style options--ask for him. Both of my rings ended up being custom made and they're beautiful. The pricing was also very competitive and they won't pressure you into buying anything you don't want or like. Don't waste your time going someplace like Kay or other mall jewelers where they are pushy and mark up rings by thousands of dollars. You'll get more personal attention and a much better price at Joseph Gann! It's also conveniently located on the T and easy to walk to if you live in Boston and work downtown or nearby.

My grandmother had fused her engagement and wedding band. When she offered her engagement ring to me I took them to Joseph Gann where they separated the rings, resized them both, and added gold to and repaired the 90 year old engagement ring. Wonderful job, both my grandmother and I were so pleased. Great service and quality at a great price.

I wanted a vintage setting with a specific, hard-to-find stone. Joseph Gann had by far the best selection of vintage filigree settings; where other shops had stuff I could "live with," I would have been delighted with about 20 different rings at Joseph Gann. They were super willing to accommodate setting a mandarin garnet; other places hadn't even heard of it (and weren't willing to look) or only wanted to set diamonds to make a bigger profit. My ring is so unique and perfect.

We had a hard time finding jewelers that sold affordable wedding rings, so our coworkers sent us over to the Boston Jewelery Exchange building and ended up in Joseph Gann Jewelers. Unlike many of the other jewelers in the building, Joseph Gann has a large selection to accommodate all budgets and tastes. We met with Steve, who helped us pick out two simple yet affordable wedding rings in our price range, by asking us what we wanted and then showing us tray after tray that fit our description. Nowhere else had the sheer quantity of trays of wedding rings that Joseph Gann did. I had wanted a plain ring that wasn't too blingy, and had almost settled on a plain white gold band, when Steve noticed I'd been eying the more glittery ones. He magically found a version of the band I was going to buy that had small diamonds inset into the ridge. It was still simple and not at all blingy, but had a little bit of extra sparkle- exactly what I wanted. Steve also helped my husband pick his ring. He had done research on all sorts of different materials, but Steve knew more pros and cons than my husband had found, and helped him pick one that best fit his needs. Steve also was able to properly size my ring to a 4.25, which was great because the mall jeweler where my engagement ring came from could only do a 4.5 and it just didn't fit right. Finally, we were in the middle of shopping while we went to Joseph Gann, and Steve didn't pressure us to buy anything- he just wrote down the information we needed, and let us go continue shopping. Of course, no one could compare, and we came back the very next business day to purchase our rings. I couldn't be more pleased with what we got. The engraving and everything went well, as well. The only minor critique I have for Joseph Gann is that they sold us the rings in a bag clearly labeled "Joseph Gann Jewelers." As much as I appreciate a business needs to advertise, I wasn't really comfortable walking through Downtown Crossing advertising that I was carrying expensive jewelery. We were able to stuff it in my husband's coat, but if that's not an option for you, I'd recommend bringing a nondescript bag to carry your purchase home. Other than that, it was amazing and I heartily recommend them.

I shopped round at a few jewelers and really clicked with these guys. They are a family owned and operated business that been around since the 1930's. They made a beautiful custom ring that matches engagement ring perfectly and in a time crunch. They also tightened and cleaned my engagement ring free of charge. I loved my ring so much I went back and had them make a necklace that I wore on my wedding day. The setting was gorgeous and complimented my other jewelry well.

We bought our wedding bands here. The sales person was informative but not pushy. The quality was great for the price.

My husband got my beautiful engagement ring at this jeweler and we ended up getting our wedding bands there as well. I was impressed with the unique design of my engagement ring and my husband's wedding band also had an interesting knot/engraved design in tungsten carbide. The staff there is very friendly and remembered my husband from his prior purchase of the engagement ring. It was nice to have that personal touch!
