Hello, my name is Joseph from Joseph Henry Photography. I am a film wedding and portrait photographer based in Las Vegas, NV. In addition to photographing weddings, I also photograph elopements, engagements, family, portraits, and all kinds of events. To me, photography is my “raison d’être”, it’s what makes me want to get up in the morning and communicate with the world.
I spent most of my life as a traveling musician and I have been around the globe many times, during my time as a touring musician, I always had a camera hanging around my neck, so I got to photograph cities, cultures, artists, food, landscapes, events and people all over the world, which is where I got my start. When I realized that photography is my calling, I had already been an experienced and published photographer for many years, and wedding photography came natural to me. I have been photographing weddings full-time professionally since 2012 and I still love it just as much today as I did my first wedding.
I have an unrivaled passion for traveling to the most incredible destinations; all over the USA but also Europe, Mexico, and South East Asia, and getting to experience different cultures, and capturing unique love stories with my camera. In my photographs I aim to combine simple and pure photographs with emotional moments. Fidelity, beauty, sincere joy, the moments when we are beautiful and we are in love, when the family is close to us, amity, laughter and tears of joy are the moments I am passionate about capturing on film. Film just offers a timeless style that I want to give to my clients to cherish forever.
My wedding packages vary from eight hours to full day coverage of your wedding celebrations, depending on your needs and budget. Other than wedding day photoshoots, I will also cover an engagement photo session to get you excited for what's to come later! After the joy has come to a conclusion, I will provide you with a link where you can access, share, and download your retouched images from an online gallery.
