Joseph West Photography

We hired Joseph to do our engagement and wedding photos and quickly determined that he is worth every penny!! He came highly recommended to us by both our wedding planner and friends. He is professional, friendly and incredibly creative with his photography. I tend to be very awkward and stiff in staged pictures but Joseph has a natural ability to put people at ease and take stunning pictures. My husband and I got to know him during the engagement photo session which helped us feel comfortable and confident about working with him on our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, he was prompt and both he and his assistant were a pleasure to work with with! We did first look and wedding party pictures before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we wanted the family pictures done as quickly as possible so that we could enjoy the wedding. He was very efficient and organized! As part of our package, he displayed photos that he had taken earlier that day (first look and wedding party pics) on a slide show for guests to see at the reception. They were stunning! I don't know how he managed to do it so quickly but all of our guests were so impressed with the pictures! He has a natural gift for photography and is an artist when it comes to getting the perfect shot. It is very clear that he puts much time and creative energy into all of his work!

So a bride might be hesitant to hire a group of guys as her wedding photographers, but Joseph West, et al, was the BEST I could have asked for! They are super professional, flexible, and very generous with their time. They also know how to talk to you when you're taking pictures to help you loosen up. Not to mention their photos look beautiful. Their photography style is honest and natural. They are great at capturing good light! You get a lot for your money with Joseph West.

I can't say enough good things about Joseph. My fiance and I both met with him, initially, and he is one of the nicest, most easy going, people I have ever met. Not to mention how talented he is! I knew I was going to feel intimidated in front of the camera and was nervous during our engagement pictures, but the entire process was casual and completely comfortable. It was hard to tell you were having your picture taken. Our engagement photos, and my bridals, turned out PERFECT! His style is different than most photographers and it was exactly what we were looking for. I can't wait to see our wedding pictures! An extra to Joseph . . . you get your pictures, and don't have to pay extra to have those printed. A+!

Joseph is AWESOME!!!!! He is so personable and easy going. He knows exactly what to say to put you at ease on your wedding day! My husband and I did our engagement pictures with him and they were amazing. Great quality of pictures!! We are anxiously waiting for the wedding pictures. We're also doing an after honeymoon session. We are looking forward to having more fun with Joseph! We used an album he did for us as our guest book which was a huge hit. Joseph was at our wedding from the girls getting hair and make up all the way to us making our exit. I would recommend him to anyone.
