We had our wedding reception here and were absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. The guests loved the food and the venue made it very easy to decorate, since the room...

Wonderful rehearsal dinner venue! This is one of our favorite restaurants and everyone loved the food and service.
We can't say enough nice things about Lauren and the Columbia Firehouse. It couldn't have been any easier to have the reception we dreamed of. It's a beautiful, intimate space wit...
h fantastic food and amazing staff. Lauren and Rebecca are responsive, accommodating, and flexible...dealing with a day-of change in guest count without hesitation, fee, or complaint. They provided recommendations for and were wonderful in dealing with our vendors, as well.
Throughout the wedding planning process, we were confident in our choosing the Columbia Firehouse...and they didn't disappoint!
Every person we encountered at the Columbia Firehouse made us feel welcome; including all the staff applauding us upon our arrival on the big day. We saw Lauren for just a moment during the cocktail hour where we we were greeted with a hug and a quick comment that she'd be there if we needed anything but that she was confident that we wouldn't; as everything was taken care of....and she was exactly right!
It was everything we wanted and more! We are so happy with the results. If we could do it again, we wouldn't change a thing!

ial day. The pricing was perfect, the food was raved about, service was excellent. Claire has received a promotion so our wedding was her last event, but hopefully her replacement will be just as wonderful to work with!
I will update my review after the wedding, but working with Claire to arrange having both the ceremony and reception has been wonderful. Having a Sunday afternoon event fit into m...
y budget; scheduling the rehearsal was a breeze; and we can drop off the decorations Friday or Saturday before.
The food was even better than I expected, and the service was fabulous. Guests who don't usually comment much on food were raving about the appetizers weeks afterword. I had seen...
the main dining space before the weeding, but the cocktail area was an unexpected and cozy pleasure.
We could not have been more pleased with our wedding reception at Columbia Firehouse!!! If we could dream up anything for our "day," this would have been the venue. Clare Parker ...
is simply a delight to work with and will work with you to make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch. She went out of the way to make sure my centerpieces were exactly as I had hoped, even indulging me in sending her pictures of where to place candles, table names, etc. If you are an amateur foodie like us, you will love the food -- no rubber chicken here! The food, wine, and beer selection cannot compare to other options in the Old Town Alexandria area! The venue is a bit small (80 people or less), but that is exactly what we wanted! You will not be disappointed if you go with Columbia Firehouse! We have amazing memories:)!!!
