I have known and worked with Josephine and her team for over 10 years while working in the wedding planning industry. When we got engaged, she was one of the first people I texted ...
just to keep on her radar once we picked a date.
Working with Josephine and Grace for my own wedding was everything I expected and more. Their vision and eye for the shot amazes me. My wedding party was amazed that they could people in line and knew how to run things so smoothly. I have only seen the sneak peek right now and I would not change a thing, and I am in suspense waiting for the whole package! I cannot recommend Josephine enough!!
Josephine and her assistant did an outstanding job!!! She was amazing to work with in advance to the wedding date and in person on the wedding day! She is professional but also re...
ally funny and kept us all smiling all day!! She has really done so much work for our family that we were completely comfortable the whole time!
Josephine is truly the best! Not only are our photos absolutely stunning, but she was truly a pleasure to work with. So easy going and fun. She knew all the best spots to get the b...
est photos. And when I got nervous a thunderstorm may ruin the big day, Josephine handled it like a champ, and assured us nothing would ruin our day...and kept shooting away! We had a huge wedding party and she was able to wrangle everyone together for the perfect shots. I could not recommend her more. You simply must use her if you are getting married, no question!
We recently had Josephine Havlak photograph our daughters wedding this July 2017. I can only say that we were so completely happy with how much time, effort, thought, caring and ...
energy that she expended on our family. We had been familiar with her work and really never considered any other photographer to use for the wedding. From our first meeting, she was very up front and honest about her approach and method that she uses when she is working. That approach fit our expectations. She is all business but really listened to my daughter and did her best to adhere to a careful balance between too much time for pictures and the right amount of break away time. Our wedding was covered extensively by Josephine and her team and I am sure that we will have many many photos that capture the night perfectly. And I have not even seen any of them yet!!!! But looking so forward to that soon.
We could not have asked for a better photographer! We gave Josephine such little direction and she completely blew our photos out of the park! She had gone to the venue weeks/days...
prior to ensure she knew exactly where to place us, and to understand the foliage and lighting. When our images came back, you could really tell how much thought went into each photo placement and positioning. Our favorite photo was in front of a blooming cherry blossom tree. When the photos were being taken, I didn't even realize a tree was there!
We were very particular with timing and only had 15 minutes to take photos between the ceremony and reception. Josephine handled this time with such grace, even though she did not recommend such a short turnaround- she worked magic! She took the lead, was running around to capture every angle, and even managed to capture reception images before guests arrived!
Josephine's warm personality made me feel so comfortable and come our wedding day I was so happy to have her in our bridal suite as we were getting ready. She felt like family by the end of the event. I strongly recommend hiring Josephine. She is worth every penny and it was so nice to have no stress as it came to photography and capturing perfect moments that we will have forever.
Josephine was truly amazing!! From the moment she arrived at my house to the last pic! She was so fun to work with and helped out all day. She knows exactly what she is doing and w...
orked with everyone in the wedding party with grace and wit. She really knew how to get the kids to participate. I have the most beautiful wedding photos and I will always have fond memories of Josephine being part of our day.
Josephine was such a fabulous photographer. I highly recommend her. From the moment my mother met her she adored her. I did not meet her until my wedding day, but as soon as I did ...
I instantly felt comfortable with her. She is extremely personable, kind, talented, experienced, professional, creative, I could go on and on! She is everything you want from a wedding photographer!
The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous! We are currently working on making the album with her and I love all of her creative ideas for the book. I look forward to using Josephine in the future for Christmas card photos, family portraits, etc. She is remarkable!
How did I find Josephine? Easy, she was the photographer at my sister's wedding 9 years prior. I'm not a huge girly girl, but after seeing my sister's wedding photos, I knew that w...
hen I got married I would have Josephine as my photographer. In fact, one of the first things I said to my husband when we were wedding planning was that Josephine was going to be our photographer. and it was the only thing that I was not willing to compromise on. (I'm wasn't a bridezilla, but her photos are just that good)
The thing I love best about Josephine's photos is that she captures the real life spirit of the day. She doesn't do a lot of fake poses, she captures things in real time. She also listens carefully to what the couple wants. She asks the couple the important people to capture in the pictures and makes sure to try and get shots of everyone at the wedding. At my sister's wedding she asked me (I was the maid-of honor) to come around with her to make sure she got pictures of all of the family members who attended.
Her method is fantastic. She;s not intrusive, in fact you barely even notice she is there. Yet somehow, when you get the photo book, you see these amazing moments from your special day. Its like you're reliving the day through her pictures.
Not only is Josephine excellent at what she does, she is a PRO at handling divorced families (such as mine!) :). She is also really fun to work with and she takes amazing photos o...
f the party in addition to the ceremony! I would HIGHLY recommend her!
Josephine and her team were absolutely outstanding and exceeded all expectations. Every special moment was captured in addition to many more spectacular moments that I never would ...
have thought of. Each picture was taken with perfect detail and looking back at all of the pictures, Josephine didn't miss a beat! Not only were her pictures breathtaking, but her personality is amazing and she is so easy to get along with. She understood exactly what we were looking for and delivered with incredible results. Josephine is a 10 and anyone would be lucky to work with her and her team!
Josephine Havlak and her staff go above and beyond when it comes to wedding photography. I could not have asked for a better photographer or better service. From the consultation...
s before, the bridal portrait, my wedding day photos, choosing the photos after and my photo books, Josephine and her staff created the perfect memories for me and my husband.
Josephine is so talented and captured my special day perfectly! She also had wonderful suggestions (my bridal portrait...AMAZING) and helped me create a photo book that I continually go back and look at and am constantly receiving compliments on.
If you are thinking of booking Josephine Havlak photography....DO IT. You will not regret it and your future daughters will thank you dearly when they look at your wedding day photos. Thank you Josephine Havlak!!
Josephine is top notch! I am so thrilled with my wedding photos. She captured such a wonderful range of moments.... you can really feel the emotion and energy of the event leaping ...
through the images. Her style is very natural -- nothing feels or looks forced. Lots of beautiful artistic photos of the room, environment, etc. She is great at organizing the wedding party and family to get through photos quickly so everyone can enjoy the reception. Josephine was also just a fun person to have playing such an intimate role in our wedding, and went beyond her photographer duties to move everyone along and even carried and reminded me to refresh my lipstick :) My friends were raving about the photos and some said they had the best shot ever of them taken at our wedding. I understand she has a range of pricing options for brides on different budgets.
Josephine Havlak, as a person and as a photographer is absolutely fabulous!!! She took a personal interest in me and my fiancé's "love story" and really understood how to capture o...
n camera who we are and as a couple. From the engagement to portrait to wedding photo sessions, Josephine made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. All the pictures are spectacular - especially the candid shots for which Josephine has an amazing eye. The pictures from my wedding day captured the exact moments every bride wants to remember and looking at the photos is almost like watching a video - there is that much "life" and feeling in each and every shot. Josephine was fun, efficient, and very easy to work with. Through it all, I felt like I had not only had a fantastic photographer taking my wedding pictures, but also had a friend with me who truly shared and cared about my happiness.
Josephine was such a pleasure to work with on my weddng day! As a bride spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day and you want that person to be fun. Josephine...
had such a good attitude and was very quick at getting our group shots outside in the 90 degree weather. Everyone on her team was delightful and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
