Josephine is truly the best! Not only are our photos absolutely stunning, but she was truly a pleasure to work with. So easy going and fun. She knew all the best spots to get the best photos. And when I got nervous a thunderstorm may ruin the big day, Josephine handled it like a champ, and assured us nothing would ruin our day...and kept shooting away! We had a huge wedding party and she was able to wrangle everyone together for the perfect shots. I could not recommend her more. You simply must use her if you are getting married, no question!

We recently had Josephine Havlak photograph our daughters wedding this July 2017. I can only say that we were so completely happy with how much time, effort, thought, caring and energy that she expended on our family. We had been familiar with her work and really never considered any other photographer to use for the wedding. From our first meeting, she was very up front and honest about her approach and method that she uses when she is working. That approach fit our expectations. She is all business but really listened to my daughter and did her best to adhere to a careful balance between too much time for pictures and the right amount of break away time. Our wedding was covered extensively by Josephine and her team and I am sure that we will have many many photos that capture the night perfectly. And I have not even seen any of them yet!!!! But looking so forward to that soon.

We could not have asked for a better photographer! We gave Josephine such little direction and she completely blew our photos out of the park! She had gone to the venue weeks/days prior to ensure she knew exactly where to place us, and to understand the foliage and lighting. When our images came back, you could really tell how much thought went into each photo placement and positioning. Our favorite photo was in front of a blooming cherry blossom tree. When the photos were being taken, I didn't even realize a tree was there! We were very particular with timing and only had 15 minutes to take photos between the ceremony and reception. Josephine handled this time with such grace, even though she did not recommend such a short turnaround- she worked magic! She took the lead, was running around to capture every angle, and even managed to capture reception images before guests arrived! Josephine's warm personality made me feel so comfortable and come our wedding day I was so happy to have her in our bridal suite as we were getting ready. She felt like family by the end of the event. I strongly recommend hiring Josephine. She is worth every penny and it was so nice to have no stress as it came to photography and capturing perfect moments that we will have forever.

Josephine was truly amazing!! From the moment she arrived at my house to the last pic! She was so fun to work with and helped out all day. She knows exactly what she is doing and worked with everyone in the wedding party with grace and wit. She really knew how to get the kids to participate. I have the most beautiful wedding photos and I will always have fond memories of Josephine being part of our day.
