I can’t begin to communicate how great Josh is at his craft, he’s the best photographer around! I’ve used him for some professional photos for my businesses website and the entire experience was fantastic. I would, and have, recommended him to anyone who needs some professional photos done consummate professional.

14+ months after our wedding & only just receiving what his most expensive wedding package came with. After growing tired of following up with Josh myself & receiving severely delayed responses if any at all, we involved a lawyer, which then took an additional two months to resolve with his lawyers similarly lack of/delayed responses. Joshs lawyer tried to blame any delays on us meanwhile I have all the texts and Instagram DMs (only way I could get a response most times). He also tried to say there was no timeframe in Joshs contract for the album etc our contract included meanwhile it clearly stated the album would be ready 6 weeks after the gallery. We requested a partial refund given none of the contracted timeframes, part of what you pay for, were met. We were offered an insulting amount with the assumption that we would then sign an NDA. The gallery, which was supposed to be available 8 weeks after our wedding, took 17 weeks to receive. Thats after receiving only one sneak peek of our entire wedding day meanwhile Josh posts several photos/footage of other weddings shortly thereafter. Dont most people book vendors based on what they see online? There was never a reason given for any delays nor an apology. I am not sure how it could have taken so long given most of the gallery was seemingly unedited. We got married in December, yes a darker month, but I assumed as a professional, Josh would be prepared for the days lighting. Most of the photos are dark & not in a moody intentional way & others over exposed.  I wish I would have let guests photograph our ceremony as we likely wouldve ended up with some better shots. Josh underutilized both our first look location & our wedding location. Our family photos were posed in front of dead trees rather than the mansion we were at. I get it was cold & I wanted kids in the photos which meant we had to work quick but I again thought as this was a location Josh had shot at before, he would know the best locations to use. I was not a bridezilla in any way but the one specific photo I did request on the spiral staircase was ignored. (we never asked him to go back & edit anything & approved the album right away when we finally got a proof despite his contract allowing for edits.) We had also discussed getting photos with other family members that were not at the first look at cocktail hour however, Josh disappeared for the entire cocktail hour. There are no cocktail hour photos & there are not enough reception detail photos to justify the entire hour.  I know the day was about us but I expected more guest photos of which there werent many. Our included engagement shoot went fine, Josh seemed fun to work with & while the photos took 2 months to receive I wasnt waiting on them for save the dates so I didnt think much of it.  Joshs persona on our wedding day was very different, he didnt seem to want to be there, at times using his cell phone behind his camera to make it look like he was busy working? I work in a high level of customer service, so I expected more from Josh based on his reputation & his luxury pricing. He should be providing clear & concise communication with everything provided on time & any next steps explained. The products we received are nice quality & Im glad to have the USB as his website is not user friendly; but I wish something that should have taken 14 weeks didnt end up taking 14 months. I hope no one has this experience with Josh but if its not his norm, then why us?
