We were so nervous to take our engagement photos, but Josh & Lindsey created an uplifting and fun environment to where we felt SO comfortable. Throughout the wedding planning process, they were always an email or text away for suggestions or simply just some encouragement. Just What We Wanted! Choosing Josh and Lindsey to photograph our wedding was one of the best and easiest decisions we made. We had a small, intimate, at home wedding and we wanted the photos to reflect that spirit. They hit the perfect balance of traditional portraits and amazing candid shots that captured the personalities, the laughter and love from every person in the room. There were tender moments, teary moments and lots of beautiful laughter. I was thrilled to have both color and black and white photos included in the results. Josh and Lindsey were professional but so easy going. They felt like part of the family and put everyone at ease...which is how you get fabulous photos! They were great communicators and very responsive to our questions. Many photographers have a staggering starting package price tag that doesn't fit for all couples. We appreciated that Josh and Lindsey understood our needs and were able to work within our budget. We were thrilled from start to finish with Josh and Lindsey and enthusiastically sing their praises. We had the good fortune to find Josh & Lindsey photography and we used them for our wedding here in St. Louis. They really listened to what we wanted, candid shots along with more formal portraits. Their final photo sets are truly amazing!! Not only is their work stunning - they were also delightful to have around. Our wedding was small (in our home) and they did their work professionally and skillfully. One final note - their pricing is super reasonable. We highly recommend them!

These five stars are more than just the equivalent of a thumbs up. Josh and Lindsey earned their perfect rating, and then some. When my now-wife and I met Josh and Lindsey, we immediately clicked. We described what we were looking for for our wedding—intimate, documentary-style photography—and by their response, it was clear they were the ones for the job. Soon after, they shot our engagement photos, and just seeing those made so many of our wedding planning nerves go away. Months away, we were thrilled to see what they would be able to do for us. On our big day, Josh and Lindsey showed up at the perfect time to photograph the bridal party getting ready. We had them for a full ten hours, and the two of them didn't waste one minute of that time (nor did they ever make us feel rushed). Every next step of our wedding, their pictures were even better than we expected: getting ready, the first look, the ceremony, pre- and post-ceremony portraits, the reception, including our grand entrance, the toasts, and of course lots of time on the dance floor. While their portraits and scene-setting photos were all gorgeous, there were two things that stood out to us in particular from their work. Lindsey and Josh have an incredible skill at seeking out and capturing special, fleeting moments. It almost felt as if they knew where to look before something had even happened. This is primarily a result of how active and focused they were, but it also speaks to their warmth as people and the disarming effect it has on their subjects. Our guests noticed my father's camcorder, but to them, Lindsey and Josh could easily have been other friends or family of ours. We also haven't gotten over how brilliant their color grading on our photos was. Too often, wedding photos come out too dull, too saturated, or just inconsistent. Our photos look realistic yet cinematic. A warm vibrance that we could not have expected. We consider ourselves very lucky to have booked Josh and Lindsey Photography for our wedding, and we hope to have the opportunity to work with them again in the future. No second thoughts, no doubts, no regrets.

Josh and Lindsey were SO GREAT to work with for our engagement photos and then again on our wedding day. They made the photo experience a fun one - especially by finding fun ways to make you smile for photos. Their documentary style photos have been so wonderful to remember our wedding day, as they caught some great moments. There are so many pictures of us laughing and having a good time mixed in with more formal pictures, and some of the more candid photos have become some of my favorites. They were able to wrangle a large wedding party, and they made the process of taking large group photos a breeze. From our first conversation with them, Josh and Lindsey felt like friends, and they made the planning process so easy. They're open to trying all sorts of new ideas, and they really rolled with the punches when we had three different location changes for pictures on our wedding day. I would 100% recommend working with them for any of your photography needs, whether it be wedding related or for any family photos or things in between.

We hired Josh and Lindsey to shoot our engagement photos. The responded quickly through each step of the process. They arrived early to our shoot location and scoped out some amazing shots. Getting to know them, and watching how well they work as a couple and a team was so endearing. They had Connor and I laughing the whole time. They really captured the joy in our relationship, and well as the love. Seeing my parents tear up at our pictures was a moment I’ll remember forever. Thank you both so much!!
