I couldn't be happier to have had Josh and Abbie there to capture our wedding day. They were a calming presence on what could've been a very stressful day and took beautiful photos. When guests started arriving early we had to cut family formals short they were super flexible and we were able to finish our photos immediately after the ceremony. We also had the pleasure of booking Josh for our engagement photos almost a year ago and loved that experience as well. Neither my husband or I love having our photos taken and walked into it feeling like we were going to be stiff and awkward on a cold December day but Josh had the best prompts that made it look natural and we loosened up pretty quickly. I couldn't recommend Josh more!

Josh and his team were amazing! They arrived on time were professional and made sure that we got all the pictures we wanted. Josh and Abbie helped keep a smile on our face and helped up remain calm with all their help throughout the day. We had Josh and Julie photograph our wedding and they did a phenomenal job. They were so easy to work with and our bridal party commented on how fun and easy to work with they were. Josh and his associate Nicole shot our wedding on 7/15/22 and we were absolutely blown away. Leading up to the day, communication was never an issue. If I had a questions Josh was able to give me a prompt response. On the day of the wedding, Josh and Nicole were so much more than photographers!! My husband and I got married on June 18, 2022 at North Star Farm. When we were in the process of choosing our photographer Josh was extremely responsive and always so easy to work with. We had never taken professional photos and he made our engagement session so easy! On our wedding day, Josh and his associate Abby were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time and jumped right in! Not only did they keep track of our timeline & photo list, but helped out with so many things throughout the day including helping with my veil, bustle, pinning my husbands corsage on, bringing my flowers to the head table, taking photos of special moments from afar and just making the entire day so much easier for us! We received our wedding photos back within a month and love how they turned out! We would highly recommend Josh and his team to anyone! Josh will be our first call when we are ready for family photos in the future!

You absolutely need to hire Josh for your wedding! He was responsive and thorough about our inquiry, and we knew right away he was good fit for us upon our first meeting. Welcoming presence, extremely personable, and true talent for capturing pictures in nature. He was also organized with a professional -easy to use online portal for our contract, payment and application. Another huge perk is his work ethic. We received ALL our edited pictures within a couple weeks of our wedding! We wanted pictures that were authentic and natural for our outdoor winery wedding. We didn't have many requests as we wanted Josh to go with the flow with us for the day. He went above and beyond our expectations. Not only with fantastic pictures of us throughout the day, but raw emotions of our guests, family members and friends. His staging techniques before the ceremony for pictures started a moment and then they naturally transformed into emotions of laughter and happiness in our couples shots and wedding party pictures. We loved this execution as it captured shots that didn't looked staged from the start. We also want to compliment Josh's associate photographer Nicole who worked with him for the day as she was amazing with accent shots! There are so many pictures we received of key moments (first dance, ceremony,speeches) they not only captured the moment, but were able to perfectly time emotions of our guests within the shots. With 200+ guests, we are impressed the amount of people they could capture and they stayed late in the evening to capture dance pictures! We can't say enough good things about Josh, and we feel incredibly lucky we got to work with him and Nicole. We will be hiring him again!!!

Lee V and Chan H - Josh did our engagement photoshoot. I’m super bummed that I couldn’t book Josh himself for the wedding but I know that we are in good hands of his associates when the day comes. I was super nervous at first for the engagement photoshoot and worried. Josh assured us that it’s normal to feel that way and to not worry about it. He was right! Josh made the photoshoot very fun and loving for us. The photos turned out amazing! He captured pictures that are beyond Kodak! We will definitely recommend him!

Josh was really great to work and very flexible with us on scheduling, we had to change the date for pictures due to a family emergency and he was so easy going about it with 0 pressure or guilt. The day of was so effortless and fun I forgot how much I don't like having my picture take. We cannot say enough good things about Josh and how he beautifully captured our wedding day! Truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was working with Josh, he was laid back and go with the flow for our day and was great with our bridal party and families, they also could not say enough good things about him, felt like he was a part of our group! He was super easy to work with leading up to the wedding as well and always responded to my million emails and questions, showed up on time, stayed pretty much all day, and helped us to have a blast! We absolutely love our photos and are appreciative of the amount we received back as well. Julia was the second shooter for the day and she was absolutely wonderful as well! Josh also went above and beyond by working with me after the wedding when I asked for some additional edits of certain pictures. Josh was so fun to work with! My fiance and I had our engagement photos done with him in July (2021) and we had a blast! We were a little nervous as neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera but we loved Josh's style of just letting us interact naturally while he snapped pictures. It was amazing how many pictures he took of us during our <90 minute shoot, and he got our photos back to us within 2 weeks (even though he told us 4 weeks). We are extremely satisfied with our engagement photos and can't wait to have him capture our wedding day! I'm excited to not only get amazing photos but also have Josh's fun, positive energy around all day.

Josh was amazing!! He was so fun to work with and made our wedding stress-free. He kept the timeline on track and got everyone through the photos very quickly without losing any quality! His team was very professional and fun to work with. They stayed and partied with us all night long! The photography ideas and poses were very creative and turned out better than we could have expected. Our sunset photos ended up being some of our favorites and I would definitely recommend sneaking away to get these. Overall, we have so many amazing photos - it will be hard to choose which ones to print!

Josh was so easy to work with! Our pictures came out beautifully, and we have many to choose from. My only wish is that my eyes were open in more of them, but that could be because I was laughing so hard the whole time! He was open to suggestions and willing to adjust when we asked for certain pictures. Highly recommend!

We had our engagement session with Josh this past week and I don't think there are enough words to describe how wonderful he is! I was a nervous wreck the hours leading up to our session, but once we started the nerves all went away and instead laughter came in to play. He gave great direction and made us feel comfortable the whole time. My fiance doesn't like having his picture taken, but Josh was able to capture such handsome pictures of him (I may be bias 😊 but even our family and friends said the same thing!). Also, we got our pictures back two days later! Our session lasted a little over an hour and we both left feeling like Josh was just one of our friends as we could just be ourselves around him. I'm excited that he will be photographing our wedding and I feel that this will be one thing that I won't have to worry about on our wedding day.

Josh did an incredible job with our wedding photos! Josh took our engagement pictures recently and he was absolutely awesome to work with! Not only did he do a great job with our pictures, but we genuinely enjoyed getting to know him throughout the process. The weather was freezing, but Josh was totally up for taking the pictures and was very easy and flexible to work with. Despite the weather we had so much fun! He made us feel at ease and natural in taking our pictures which is reflected in the actual photos and we could not be happier with how they turned out! We had our dog in some photos as well and Josh was great in getting him to cooperate and was incredibly patient throughout the process. We really enjoyed working with Josh Anderson; he was punctual, a skilled photographer, efficient and pleasant to have around. (even though we hardly noticed he was there; since he was never in our way) We were completely satisfied with our wedding photos; and would highly recommend him.

They felt like very talented friends who were joining us to celebrate our wedding day! Our wedding was the day after Christmas in 2020. COVID, the weather, nor the holidays stood in the way of them delivering incredible service. Also, we wanted to have a few photos taken at night by a pergola; Josh and Tim went out and shoveled a path to get us there! Their initiative and dedication to our experience was incredible! Josh photographed my daughter's wedding. He also happens to be the brother of the groom, and was in the wedding! He did not let the familial connection affect his professionalism. Josh has a very easy going personality and did a great job of keeping everyone to the schedule. All of the family photos were taken during the social hour, and I was very impressed with how quickly he got everyone into position for each of the group shots. That's not easy with large groups. Josh also worked very well with the videographer. Together they captured the first look beautifully and perfectly! If I could go back and redo anything, it would be for me to have been more specific as to what "getting ready" shots I wanted him to take. Josh recently took our son's (Derek Hagene) and his Fiance (Kelsey Koepp) engagement pictures, and what an AMAZING job he did!!
