s are amazing. He captured so many beautiful and funny moments for us and we can't help but go back and look through our pictures all the time. Here are just some of the things that make Josh great!! Leading up to our wedding Josh was really good about keeping in touch with us and getting ideas about what we wanted for our photos. Josh went to our wedding ceremony and reception site the week before our wedding at the exact times to check out the lighting and scout out great places for pictures. On the day of our wedding Josh and his second shooter Andy made us feel so relaxed and at ease. Josh was so good at making sure that we stayed on schedule but we didn't feel rushed at all. Overall, one of the best things about Josh is his positive attitude. It was like we had a friend photographing our wedding. We got married on August 13th, 2016, which was one of the hottest days of the summer, both Josh and Andy were troopers. They kept us laughing and smiling despite the heat. During the ceremony and reception they were very discrete. I've been to a lot of weddings where the photographers were all over the place and very in your face. Josh and Andy were so respectful. Okay, let's talk about the photos. AMAZING!! Josh takes very natural and beautiful photos. He had a ton of great ideas, but was also super open to improvising. There was a point while he was shooting photos of just my husband and myself were the sun started shining through this small round window and he got really excited and started snapping pictures. The result was this amazing silhouette photo of us with the light bouncing off the the marble floors. I will definitely be recommending Josh to anyone I know for a wedding photographer. Josh, thank you so much for being our photographer. We love our photos and can't thank you enough for the amazing job you did. Viva Mexico!

He was capable of entertaining baby while taking amazing shots. Fast forward to August, 2016- our wedding day!! 3 weeks later, I am sitting here on our couch checking out our phenomenal wedding photos!! Their absolutely beautiful!! Since we got photos during our engagement, we did not want engagement photos, so he allowed us to substitute a second shooter for the engagement photos. The second shooter that he used, Stephanie Barone, was amazing as well. Everything went perfectly on our wedding day, and both photographers were enthusiastic and professional. We were very happy with Josh and highly recommend that you use him as your wedding photographer!

When he arrived in Mexico, Josh immediately got to work finding the best locations to capture the moments that would last a lifetime for my husband and I. ur pictures! Josh got all of the best moments captured without being pushy and intrusive like other wedding photographers. We barely knew he was there, except when he was joining in on the fun with our lively bunch and letting my crazy brother take selfies with him and use his camera to take pictures of him dancing with us girls, lol... wedding photos) were taken at a baseball field that tied into our 'vintage baseball' themed wedding. Josh, with his wonderful keen eye, was able to work with this theme and create spectacular photographs. They come out like the photographs you see in wedding magazines and on Pinterest! Josh is the only photographer for me and I have already recommended him to my girlfriends who are planning their wedding.

with gay wedding photography. As one can imagine, photographing same sex couples is not the same as photographing straight couples, and we wanted to find someone who understood the dynamics of a gay relationship. Josh was clearly at ease with me and my husband when we initially met with him. It was obvious that he is gay-friendly and he shared that he has close friends who are in the LGBT community. While that was certainly an important factor in our choice of photographer, we were even more impressed by Josh's understanding of the subtle but important differences between a straight and gay wedding. The typical photos that most wedding photographers are used to relying on weren't going to work for our wedding. Josh had tons of ideas for unique and interesting shots that we had never even thought of. We loved that he had a background in commercial and fashion photography, because his photos look like they jumped right out of a magazine. He captured so many spontaneous moments and emotions and none of our photos look fake or posed. I think what we were happiest about was that we felt completely comfortable with Josh at the wedding and totally relaxed. This is important for a same sex wedding because so often a gay couple can feel somewhat inhibited out in public together. Because Josh put us at such ease, we got shots that truly express who we are as a couple. I would highly recommend Josh whether you're having a straight or gay wedding. His photos won't disappoint!

He was timely, stuck to our wedding day schedule (which was not a long day by any means, so timing was VERY important). He was able to get our 4 year old daughter to smile and have fun in pictures, which is not her favorite thing to do. My bridal party and entire family were impressed with his level of professionalism and yet at the same time making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. We received an amazing sneak peek not even 24 hours after our wedding and know we will love each and every photo. Make no mistakes with your wedding photography and hire Josh. You won't regret it!

ow him. It was above 100 degrees that day, and in that sweltering heat, he still managed to produce amazing photos. We were so impressed that we hired him for our wedding. When it came time to the wedding, he checked in with us 1-2 days prior, and reassured us that he would be there. Sure enough, he arrived a few hours early to scout locations for great pictures. Some times having an outsider can be a little awkward, but Josh was great. He was behind the scenes when he needed to be, yet just a reach away when he was needed. It was like having a member of our family there with us. After the wedding, he went home, let us know that all the images were safe, and then several weeks later, emailed us a package containing prints, a USB drive with all the images, and a thank you note. When we looked at our pictures, we were stunned at how well they turned out! Couldn't have asked for more.

fun. Josh was awesome with all the kids and he was just an all around great guy. The package I received in the mail was amazing and I am so grateful for all the work he had put into my photo album!

didn't want. Wedding photography can be so horribly cornball, and neither of us were really looking to pony up thousands of dollars for rote poses and pictures of cake. Eventually, we got to Josh, and the first phone conversation I had with him, he asked what we were looking for. I explained that we were mainly just looking for somebody who would photograph us the way we are and not the way weddings are "supposed" to look. He said he could do that. We met up, he showed me his work, and I knew within two minutes that I wanted this dude photographing the wedding. First of all, the man is just incredibly open and friendly, something that usually puts me on edge (I live in New York). I'm thinking, "What's this guy's angle?" But then he explained that he was Canadian, and it all made sense. On the day of the wedding, Josh showed up early and scouted the site. Stacey said she wanted to get all the formal photos done before cocktail hour, so we did. He took some really fun photos of my groomsmen and myself, and understood the importance of the Slayer cufflinks my brother and I were wearing. When Stacey arrived, we went out on the golf course to this gorgeous tree, and he timed it right to get the perfect lighting. As requested, most of the photos he took were candid shots of the party, which is perfect since it all went by for me in such a blur. But the important thing is that the photos turned out wonderfully. He made everything easy, and is super professional. My one regret is that Josh had to photograph the wedding, otherwise I might've ended up just inviting him. Thanks again, Josh!

fashion photography, we knew he'd bring just the edge we were looking for. We were beyond happy with this decision! Josh is a pure professional (and funny and personable too!) He captured all of our special moments in creative ways. And he was never in our way. One of my favorites...There was a pool table at our venue and Josh arranged the numbers on the pool balls to read our wedding date. Just one example of his little creative touches. This is the perfect cover to our wedding album and we get so many complements. Best of all, Josh is affordable! Hard to come by in this industry. We highly recommend Josh, book him while you can!

very first phone conversation I knew I had found the perfect photographer for our day. First and foremost, he is a fantastic photographer, he took beautiful pictures for us, captured angles and moments and didn't use those goofy effects that try to make a photo more than it is and I appreciated that so much. We have so many pictures that are stunning and the price I paid wasn't half of what I had seen on other photographers websites. I have nothing but accolades for Josh. He was a fantastic person to have around you on your wedding day full of smiles and not an ounce of pushiness.
