He was an amazing DJ. I can’t recommend him enough!! He was able to sing live during ceremony and cocktail hour and did so amazing during our reception.

We were so lucky to have Josh play guitar for our summer wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Camp Lucy. His sound was absolutely beautiful—warm, clear, and just the right fit for the vibe we wanted. The acoustic guitar added such a personal, intimate feel that really made both parts of the day even more special and memorable. Josh was super easygoing and professional from start to finish. He was attentive to every detail and made sure the music flowed seamlessly throughout. His talent and passion really took the whole experience up a notch. We received so many compliments from guests about how great the music was—it set the perfect tone for the day. If you want a guitarist who’s talented, chill, and truly nails the mood you’re going for, Josh will exceed your expectations. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be part of our big day!

Josh is excellent. It would be a mistake to hire anyone else. His live is music really impressive and he’s a great DJ as well. He transitioned seamlessly from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception and maintained a great and fun atmosphere through out. His live music covers were super fun and one of the highlights of our wedding. Our ceremony had to be delayed due to a brief rain shower, and Josh played rain and weather themed songs in the rain. It was really cool. We’re looking for an excuse to hire him again or attend one of his events.

Josh was incredible and went above and beyond when it came to the logistics of our wedding! We had 3 different areas we wanted music and he provided all 3 set ups. I was recommended this vendor by another DJ. Unfortunately, Josh himself was not available on our wedding date. However, he has other artists/DJs that work along side him that were available. The company has many other talented artists to chose from, but ultimately we booked the Singer/DJ Sheridan Reed. It was the BEST thing we ever did. In the beginning of our wedding planning journey I was set on a band, however, after everything added up- we simply could not afford a band. Sheridan was the best of both worlds. He can preform live with his guitar and DJ. Sheridan learned songs that were important to me when it came to our ceremony. He had a list of live songs he would preform during cocktail hour that I got to pick from. Then I gave him a playlist for the reception, then also gave him full range to read the room and play what he thought was best. He did a phenomenal job. Both Josh and Sheridan were fast to respond to any questions and were accommodating. If you are looking for the perfect medium of live music and DJ combo that does not break the bank- Josh Klaus Music is for you!! I could not recommend this company enough!!

We can't say enough about Josh and the impact that he had for our day. We hired Josh to play the acoustic for our cocktail hour and for the first portion of our reception (including first dance) and he also MC'ed and DJ'ed the night as well. Josh is a fantastic musician! He played acoustic during our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner reception. I gave him some general music genres that I liked and told him to run with it! He did a great job and many guests complimented the live music and music taste. After dinner, Josh turned into a MC/DJ and we hit the dance floor, dancing the rest of the night away to great music! If you're looking for a kind, personable and extremely talented artist to play at your wedding, Josh is your guy! Our wedding planner, Danny at Hummingbird House, recommended Josh right off the bat, citing him as one of the best musicians in Austin to work with. Our communication with Josh was enjoyable, and his responses were always timely and to the point. Josh arrived early to set up on our wedding day and provided a very calming, joyful presence to our special day. He performed at the ceremony and cocktail hour, all songs I picked off of his song list that were absolutely amazing! Our guests all loved him and were so impressed by his talent - as was I. Sheridan played at our wedding in Texas Hill Country and he was amazing! We wanted acoustic and DJ music mix and he was able to do both. He has a good list of songs he knows how to play, which made it even easier for putting the playlist together. We started working with him on all the music elements of the wedding months before and finalized it with him the week before. He was able to provide recommendations as well, which were all very helpful. Day of, he played very well and all the guests loved his music and voice and complimented us on him as well. He played my favorite song as I walked down the aisle and he sounded so sweet and played it well. Josh Klaus Music is highly recommended for any wedding and/or event!

We had no idea that you could get the best of both worlds - live music and a DJ set - in one vendor, but we came across Josh and the rest was history. It was important to us that our musician understood the vibe throughout the whole day, as we are not a particularly "dance-y" couple and didn't want anything to feel forced. Josh's ability to set the right tone at every step of the way us unparalleled: from soothing and romantic vocals before the ceremony, to a beautiful "pre-speeches" speech, to an upbeat DJ set that kept our most energetic guests wildly entertained, the vibe was perfect the whole day. Something to especially highlight is how he played a mix of songs that got both older and younger crowds on the dance floor; we loved looking over and seeing guests of all ages having a great time. Plus, he'll learn any song acoustically that you want for an extremely nominal fee, so we asked him to learn our processional song, which was absolutely beautiful. On top of all of his skills, he's also just a blast to be around and SO responsive - we actually thought the response we got from him when we first submitted an inquiry was automated because the turnaround was so fast! We received so many compliments about Josh, and we are so grateful he made the night as enjoyable for our guests as it was for us!

First of all, he is truly so talented and a joy to work with. His acoustic set for happy hour and for part of the dinner service was stunning. I could not recommend Josh enough for your wedding, or any event really. He is such a personable guy and amazing musician. We asked him to come to our New Orleans wedding after hearing him at a friend's Austin wedding. Josh felt like a wedding guest and vendor at the same time, in the best way! Both his acoustic set and DJ set are amazing, we got so many compliments from guests. My husband and I felt like he played the perfect DJ set personalized to us, but also played songs to please the crowd, while also respecting our requests (no line dances, etc). He had everyone dancing all night, and he even joined the dance floor at one point! Josh was one of the highlights of our Oct. 2023 wedding in San Antonio. We booked him for his acoustic set and was very easy to communicate with. Ahead of our small outdoor ceremony, we shared our vision on music ahead of, during, and following our ceremony. We appreciated his transparency on a few pieces we wanted for the ceremony that he could not play live but accommodated with recordings of 2 particular songs. So many guests complimented him and the range of music he played during the happy hour. Our celebration did not include a dance floor, but he looks like he can seamlessly transition to an awesome DJ!

Daniel added a great element to our wedding!! Not only did he DJ the dance party after dinner but provided live piano and vocals during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
