Josh Kuckens' Story
Josh fell in love with his camera in the mid 2000s and began working in editorial and commercial photography before making the transition to weddings in 2013. Throughout his career, his work has been associated with some of the most decorated brand names, including The Associated Press, Sports Illustrated, The New York Stock Exchange, The Washington Post, and many more. He moved to Vermont in 2017 to capture love and love stories in all their beauty.

I've been making pictures since 2006. My passion led to the Photojournalism program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I've had a unique journey through the professional photographic world, from staff and freelance work for news outlets and colleges, to assisting and production roles on commercial, documentary and editorial projects. Some of the stops along the way include The Daily Hampshire Gazette, Bates College, The New York Stock Exchange, The Barre-Montpelier Times Argus, and Magnum Photos. I enjoy photographing nature and the night sky, too, in addition to personal projects. I've basically always got a camera with me. I started photographing weddings in 2013, and have always felt the photojournalist's skillset is a great match for the task.
