Josh unfortunately had a death in the family and was unable to be at our wedding which made me very nervous and upset since we already established a relationship with him from doing our engagement shoot with him. However he assured me that the two guys that were replacing him were great, and they were. Neil was hysterical and nice and every once in a while showed us the pictures and made sure we liked the way he was taking them. He made us feel so comfortable. Even though we wanted Josh Neil was a great fill in. And we would recommend them both!!

Like many of the brides that have seen Josh's work, I was amazed at his talent when I first saw his photos. He has a way of capturing the emotion of the day with a creative eye. That's why we booked him. Sadly, that's not what we got. In the beginning, Josh made us feel confident that we had made the right choice for a wedding photographer. While planning for the big day, I asked Josh if he needed a list of "must take" photos. He responded "No, I just read the crowd", so I trusted his judgment. His overconfidence left me with no photos of me and my mother, me and my man of honor, me and my matron of honor, the musicians, and other major details of the day. I have only one portrait of me alone. I understand that artists may have an 'off' day, but my wedding day should not have been the day for it. Receiving timely communication from Josh was a challenge, especially after the wedding. He rarely responded to emails after receiving advanced payment in full. I finally heard from him after I threatened legal action. It should have never come to that. A year after my wedding, I still have not received half of the items outlined in my contract; Josh has not given me a timeline as to when I can expect them. I do believe Josh has talent and is competitively priced for other photographers in the area. As with any wedding vendor, make sure you are receiving the service for which you have paid and get it all in writing.

I used Josh Lynn for my photobooth at my wedding. Alan was wonderful, kind, and helpful to all of my guests (over 250!). The scrapbook given at the end of the night was a great momento to have immediately after the wedding, and looking at all the photos was so much fun! The pricing was a little high, but you definitely got the service and product you are looking for.

I fell in love with his work before we were engaged. I was googling an image of something in the area and he popped up and I saved in him my favorites for future use=) Josh was great to work with leading up to the wedding and also on the day of. He made me feel so calm and relaxed. The teasers he posted on Facebook have me so excited to see the final product! We also used him for our photobooth which was a HUGE hit!

Not only is Josh Lynn a great photographer, but he becomes a great friend and guide through the entire wedding process. Worth every penny spent.

Josh Lynn is the BEST photographer EVER. I saw photos from a wedding he did before I was even engaged and knew I needed to book him for when I got married. Literally the SAME day I got engaged we called to book Josh which was 2 years before the date we set for the big day. And it's a good thing we did, too because someone else was interested in that same date-he's that good! Not only is he extremely talented, he is a down-to-earth, lighthearted GOOFBALL and is SO much fun to work with! On a day where you WILL be a frazzled and stressed out bride, surround yourself with people who will put you at ease. Josh is so funny, it honestly felt like the hours before my wedding we were all just hanging out. Plus he put my veil on when my hairstylist left and forgot to put it in! You NEED to book Josh Lynn, you will be so glad you did. I just got my proofbook back and the photos are unbelievable! When I met Josh at a wedding a year before mine, I knew I had to have him capture my wedding day. He is beyond awesome, his work is amazing, and he is a pleasure to be with on a stressful, anxiety-filled day! He is professional, easy to deal with and his work is beyond incredible. He is so creative, captures the tiniest moments, and I can't say enough good things about him. Josh, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Josh was so personable and blended in with everyone. He was fun and so friendly. My guests were amazed that they could see some of the pictures already at the wedding. Josh brought a digital frame which displayed some of the pictures taken earlier in the day, at the reception. His pictures were beautiful. He puts some of them up on Facebook for you immediately after the wedding so you can show them off. I haven't seen my proofs or the album yet but I am excited to see them. I am sure they will be great.

he is the best of the best and couldn't ask for anything better! he is very creative through his work andn very easy to work with. he works with you and makes sure he gets all the pictures you want for the day. at times, i didn't even realize he was even there because he is not right in your face. if you can splurge on the photobooth you should because the guest loved it. he is above and beyond the money spent.

THE Josh Lynn is an amazing artist. He listens to all your wishes and paints a truly beautiful portrait of your day. Have recommended him repeatedly and have had friends ask about his work after seeing our album and storyboard in our living room. Incredible. He is gifted. Can't say enough.

Josh Lynn took the pictures for my daughter's wedding this July. He came highly recommended, and I loved his photojournalistic style. He is quite talented, artistic, and very creative. He is wonderful at putting an excited bride and anxious "MOB" at ease on the big day. He captured all the emotions and the romantic splendor of the day. I would recommend him whole heartedly for any special occasion to capture all the special moments and give you memories to reflect on for a lifetime.

Ok, he is the only wedding photographer I have used, but I couldn't be happier. Not only was he a good person to work with, he was creative and fun while being professional. The proofs/proof box are great and we can't wait to see the printed version of our album. One of the best things Josh did was post "teaser" photos the next day so our parents had something to show off. I'm sure that Josh will continue to be the best wedding photographer I have ever and will ever use and I will continue to recommend him to anyone that will listen.

Josh truly captured the vibe of the entire day, from preparation to ceremony to (the absolute best) reception. Too bad we are in Chicago and he is in NJ!

Is it possible to give 10 stars out of 5 on this thing? If I could, I would... Where do I begin.... Josh Lynn is hands down the BEST photographer. Ever. When I first started wedding planning, I remember catching a glimpse of his work on his website. Well, i called him up immediately and pretty much told him that I didn't need to come in and meet with him, he just HAD to photograph my wedding. (He then told me I definitely should meet with him in person and see more of his work, but the point is-I didn't need to see any more, just by looking at a few images on his website, I could see that his work was way beyond what average wedding photos look like.) Josh is phenomenal at what he does because it is effortless for him. His photos are breathtaking and unforgettable. He is extremely professional and at the same time, he has fun doing what he does. I cant count how many people have told me that they've "never seen wedding photos that look like that" before... just way beyond what anyone could ever imagine what perfect pictures look like. During my reception, he had a slideshow of images playing for my guests to see. EVERYONE who was WORKING at my reception could not stop telling me how amazing my photos were-which says a lot because they see different photographers every day coming in and out of their hall. He has a great personality and is also just fun to be around. I am so thankful to have such incredible photos of my wedding day. When the day is over, pictures will be all you have to remember it by. Why would you settle for anything but the best for photos of one of the most important days of your life? Talented, professional, timely, amazing, exceptional... a diamond among gems! These are just a few adjectives that explain Josh Lynn Photography. I've working in the jewelry industry for over 12 years and I only recommend Josh to my clients. Not only is his portfolio of weddings amazing, but I know I can trust Josh Lynn with my reputation because he proved it during my own wedding. My wedding day wasn't exactly what one would call "smooth". Since the wedding ended up starting an hour late, we lost an hour of photography, so we had to move on fast forward during the post ceremony photos. THE RESULT: the pictures ended up gorgeous!!! From scenic, to whimsical, Josh Lynn's combination of professionalism and talent created the most amazing photographs that I could never even had imagined! He made memories my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. On a side note: if you want to know a small hint into his character as a person... From the minute we started looking for a photographer, Josh's pictures had just jumped out at us. Then we set up at meeting with Josh and instantly knew he would be our photographer!!! His personality reflects in his pictures. He was more accommodating and didn't pressure us into making a decision right away (even though we knew!) Josh was our photographer for our wedding this past October. Josh really impressed us with his sense of the surroudings of where we got married and how to capture great shots. He was easy to be around and blended right in. We recently got our proofs and showed it to close family and friends and have received raving reviews. Josh's pictures are beautiful and truly capture our emtions on that day. We are very happy he was our photographer. He is very talented and we would highly recommend him.

We had a wonderful experience with Josh. We had a small service done at the last minute and he worked with us and our needs and we were so happy to have had Josh as our photographer. When the officient was late, he called his friends and pastor to see if someone could fill in...way above and beyond the call of duty. He kept in the background and was able to capture all of the small moments (seriously I didn't even know he was positioned in certain places to captures those moments). He was so calm and nice and knew just how to handle everything and everyone. His photography skills are amazing and everyone just loved him! Several people have said that the pictures look like stills from a movie. Absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend Josh! Josh shot my wedding about a month ago and he did such a great job. I already have my proofs which look great and not only that, but the day of he was unobtrusive and great to be around. I would recommend him to any bride!

Run, run, run to book Josh Lynn as your photographer! Josh is absolutely wonderful! Do my husband and I really look this hot in person!? I’d like to think so but perhaps our guests should continue to be awed by Josh’s amazingly beautiful photos. Josh captured our emotions throughout our wedding day, from big events, such as our first kiss as man and wife, to the tiniest details, such as a private and intimate handhold. From the getting ready phase through the reception, Josh portrayed our fun-loving spirit and unique style in an honest and artistic fashion. Incredibly, Josh managed to take accurate and gorgeous snapshots of the day’s most sincere moments and present them with breathtaking clarity, while remaining largely unseen. Josh’s photobooth was also a big hit as what goes on in a photobooth stays in a photobooth! Needless to say, people left the wedding with some very interesting and hilarious photo strip favors. On a personal note, Josh is very witty, always responsive, and extremely helpful. Need I say more? Let’s put it this way, we had ELVIS at our wedding, four choreographed dances including dips, drops, and lifts, four hilarious and heartwarming toasts, and an impromptu Irish dancing performance. Josh is a very personable, friendly and out-going individual. He works to meet your needs and your expectations. He is open to suggestions, and has plenty to share as well. He does phenomenal work! His pictures are beautiful and completely capture the moment. We are very pleased with him thus far and are 100% happy we picked him to be our photographer for our wedding day.

Josh was not originally my wedding photographer. At first I was nervous to have a new photographer just 3 months before my wedding, but looking back on the situation I am so proud and fortunate to call myself a Josh Lynn bride. He really was instrumental in making my wedding a success. I don't know how many tears I have shed over these images, but I am truly blessed to have had Josh Lynn capture my wedding. He is funny, while at the same time knows how to organize the day to a T. He's not even the wedding planner, but somehow he often wears this hat. He is unobtrusive, yet everywhere at the same time. Josh is a great photographer and makes you feel totally comfortable while taking photos. He also helped so much at our wedding. My hair stylist was running behind and he put my veil in my hair. The men were having problem putting on corsages and he helped them too. He was really great with the kids and got some fantastic moments.
