We got married in September 2026 and hired Josh. He was exactly the type of photographer we were looking for. Josh was very relaxed throughout the day. Since the wedding, a bunch o...
f friends made comments such as, “ I had a great conversation with the photographer, he was really nice!”
We haven’t seen all the photos yet, but the handful we have been able to view are amazing. Definitely recommend!
Josh was phenomenal. He was responsive and met with us before booking to make sure we were a good fit! On the day of the wedding, he made sure to capture every shot we had requeste...
d and made sure to take advantage of the natural light! He sought out different photos without being intrusive or posing people too much. The result was beautiful photos that truly captured the feelings and emotions of the day. We couldn’t be happier and are grateful to now have such special memories captured forever.
Josh was great to work with- very professional, creative, and willing to go with your flow. We hired him because of his talent to capture pictures that preserve the emotions of a m...
oment. When we were looking through our photos afterwards, my husband and I noted that we barley remembered Josh (and Brian) being present for so many of the moments they photographed.
My husband and I had Josh do our engagement, ceremony, and reception photos. We were beyond impressed with Josh! He is so friendly, and immediately made us feel comfortable. He rea...
lly knows how to capture the beauty and energy of a moment. It's a lot less standing around doing uncomfortable poses, and more interacting with each other and your guests in an organic, fun way, all with Josh capturing everything. Our guests also loved Josh, and many remarked to me how professional and engaging he was. For what it's worth, he's great at capturing scenic landscapes, if you are looking for a more earthy feel to your photos. He gets a ten out of ten from me!
We were lucky enough to find Josh Behan's pictures online and loved his eye for taking pictures that went beyond the normal wedding lineup pics. He was hired to do my daughter's en...
gagement pictures and they were incredible. My daughter and now son in law felt very comfortable with him and felt like he was a friend by the end of the shoot. He just shot their wedding this past Saturday on Block Island and I can't wait to see the photos. He was everywhere he should have been and never in the way or obstructing anyones views. He was a charming person to deal with and you would be lucky to have him at your special occasion!
Unfortunately, was extremely disappointing. Every photo was distorted. Discolored. And cropped very unusually. Not one photo of just the bride. Barely any of the family. Bridal par...
ty and groomsmen. Did not follow the brides request for specific photos. And the bride had to personally edit all photos because all were so discolored. Did not know how to correct the camera settings leaving every photo with a purple hue around faces and background. This is beyond upsetting and disappointing to have this happen and when contacted about this, he defended this as “art.” Think twice before ever wasting money and memories on him.
Josh is super personable and accommodating, and understood exactly what we wanted for our photos. He worked with who we are to capture the moments we wanted most, and helped get th...
e posed photos we also needed.
He made it easy for us to enjoy the wedding, and got us during the most opportune times to take additional photos beyond the first look and after the ceremony. He captured the most candid shots we knew we wanted, and they express the pure joy of our day. Many friends were impressed by his two camera style, and I know it allowed him to get the photos he wanted us to have.
He took us out after the initial shooting later that night to capture twilight photos; I cannot wait to see those!
Josh happens to be a close friend of ours but that is not why we picked him. He is an exceptional photographer. His artistic style and relaxed methods make for the most honest an...

Josh was fantastic! We have only seen a few of the preview shots so far but they are amazing. He has a terrific eye and was wonderful with our guests. He did a great job of anticip...
ating shots and anytime during the day that I found myself thinking "this would be a great picture" I would look up and see him positioned and taking the shot. We would absolutely recommend Josh!
After seeing wedding pictures from my friend's wedding in Oct, 2010, I knew this photographer is the one I want to use for my own wedding. Josh and Amanda really knows how to captu...
re the special moments. They are very professional and easy to work with. What I like most about their work is the color of the photos, just the way it came out will just make your jaws drop. It is so beautiful, you will have to see it for yourself.
Josh was such a pleasure to work with. We rarely knew where he was snapping photos but we was able to capture so many special moments. He is the perfect photographer especially for...
those grooms who hate to pose for photos all the time or have a camera stuck in their face. His artistic style is unique and his talent is extraordinary. Highly recommend him!

wedding. The engagement album is beautiful and I'm sure our wedding pics will be just as amazing. Josh has a photojournalistic style where he captures the moment perfectly (without you even knowing he's there!) Awesome.
