She would check in on us throughout the day and made sure that we had all the pictures we wanted from our special day. My husband and I didn’t want to spend a lot of time on our wedding day doing photos and wanted to capture as many candid photos as possible. Josi has the perfect balance of being direct without being bossy – she had us laughing and having fun but also moving quickly so we could enjoy the day. Prior to our wedding day she prepped me with a list of questions so she was able to focus on what was important to us – and she was honest about what was possible and not possible with the schedule and the timing we were working with. Josi was so prompt – both with the boudoir shoot and the wedding, she was always early – and on our wedding day she was the last to leave, we literally missed the last bus and got stranded on the side of the road at our venue. What could have been a nightmare for some photographers, Josi turned into something fun – we sat on the side of the road with a small group of family and drank the leftover beers while waiting for the bus to come back. You will likely spend more time with your photographer than anyone else on your wedding day, I’m so happy we chose to hire Josi because she was an absolute joy to be around, and on top of that she produces amazing work. Hiring Josi was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding process. We will certainly be using her again down the road for family sessions! Thank you again!!
