n from a friend, we talked with Josiah and Steph and knew they were the photographers for us. They immediately put us at ease and are excellent collaborators. Josiah is both authoritative when you need him to get your family/friends on schedule, but also friendly and easy-going throughout. We enjoyed our time with them so much that we tried to figure out how to get them to stay friends with us, lol. Anyway, we highly recommend them.

leading up to the day and made it so there were minimal questions I had to ask because they provided all the information for you. All the little details and gifts they give leading up and even after the wedding is amazing. They also provide physical prints of all the pictures and it was a fun night with my husband to sit and look through all our pictures. On our wedding day, Josiah did an amazing job and just blended in as part of the wedding day and allowed us to fully enjoy our day. He also put up with any hiccups and all family members and lots of little kids. Overall can not recommend their team enough!

I've been told that in general, wedding photography can sometimes feel a little stiff, but that was not our experience with Josiah. He generated AND captured so much magic that we'll be gushing over our album our entire life. 10000000/10 recommend!

So much so that we felt extremely comfortable with their directions and suggestions. Their decision making and discretion was a huge reason why our wedding went so smoothly. Second - their attention to detail was worth noting. They took the time to consider when our honeymoon was going to happen (a week after the wedding) and surprised us with the full album of photos during the getaway. This just meant so much to us because we got to enjoy them together and figured, like most large sets of photos, would take weeks to have edited and curated. Third - They have gone out of their way to provide us with very thoughtful reminders about our wedding and them post-wedding. None of this was required or somewhere included in our contract, but they have taken the time, effort, energy, and their own money to send these special reminders. We highly recommend their services because you're not just getting some people to take some photos - you're getting people who want to be there to celebrate with you, look after your interests, and provide an unmatched level of care and professionalism. We will be using them in the future and continue to recommend them to friends and family.

with Josiah on our inquiry call- we chatted for over an hour. By the end of the call I not only knew he was the absolute right choice for our wedding photography/video- but I felt like he was now a friend! Josiah asked specific questions to ensure the vision I had for our day would reflect in our photos. During wedding weekend, Steph and Josiah not only made our entire bridal party comfortable in front of the camera but created this incredibly calm but FUN environment. We didn't want a lot of posed photos and J + S never pressured us to take more than we wanted. They were cheerleaders, incredibly professional vendors and their talent truly speaks for itself through the photos. On top of the most perfect day- we received so many sneaks less than a week after our wedding and then received our entire gallery and EVERY SINGLE WEDDING PHOTO PRINTED IN A 4X6 shortly after that. She stayed calm, helped stitch it back up, and made sure the energy stayed light and positive. She snapped some photos of me sewing up her dress, which I know I’ll love to have. It honestly saved the moment! We also loved the prompts they gave us while taking photos — it made everything feel natural, not posed or stiff. Their style is beautiful and timeless. e had known them for a long time - partially because of their great communication and thoughtful gestures throughout the time we booked them to the day of our wedding and partially because of who they are. They are such warm, down to earth, awesome people. And they get all there is to get about wedding days. Timelines are crazy, the bride and groom are being pulled in a million directions, there’s a lot to consider. But Steph and Josiah understand all that and are not only respectful of all these considerations, but they also go outside their photography lane to HELP make your day go smoother. Josiah put on all the boutonnières for the groomsmen who had no idea how to, Steph had safety pins and a scissor to help adjust my gown… they are veterans at the wedding game. And the crazy thing is, they do all this while taking insanely beautiful photos. We got back our sample photos and they are stunning. It wasn’t a particularly sunny day but the way they capture photos has this beautiful bright, natural, real look to it. And the expressions of people’s faces they captured - priceless. Steph and Josiah feel like friends who you want at your wedding. You almost forget that they’re doing incredible work while they’re there. Also, side note - they also dressed like they were attending a wedding, which I appreciated! I’ve seen photographers at weddings wearing very casual clothing and sticking out like a sore thumb. All in all, we can’t wait to work with Steph and Josiah again. They’re going to be our go-to people for our photography needs.

re incredible to work with and felt more like friends/guests than hired photographers with their incredibly thoughtful touches during the planning process and their calming and kind nature during those more nerve-wracking moments before the ceremony. So before we even got our pictures back, they already blew us and everyone of our guests away! But then we got the pictures back - hundreds of within 2 days (!!!) and then the rest of our photos no less than 2 weeks later!! They captured every moment so beautifully, and we were blown away by the quality and creativity in each shot. One of the things we loved most is that they didn’t over-stage anything. They let us be ourselves and effortlessly caught so many real, authentic moments. You can genuinely feel the love and emotions in every single photo. They also photographed our guests in the most beautiful, candid ways. om the first phone call, Josiah connected with us and addressed all our concerns quickly putting us at ease. They were responsive and provided a timeline proposal which helped us plan the whole day including other vendor details. From an easy-to-use website, detailed questionnaire, reminder emails, and photograph locations with back up spots, they had it all covered. It was obvious they were invested in making the day go smoothly and ensuring they could document it in the best way without intruding on the intimate and special moments. On the day of, they showed up early and not only focused on photographing everything happening but were also so personal it was like we had known them for years. They handled the family photos expertly and quickly even with crying children. We can be awkward in photos, but Josiah and Steph made the wedding party portraits easy and actually enjoyable; we felt like we were laughing and genuinely smiling the whole time. When we got the photos back (in record time too), we were blown away. Every photo is a work of art that captured the true essence of our day and documented it in such a beautiful way. We could not get over the details in the pictures and how well they were all edited. They even took some film photos which have become some of our favorites! We have received so many compliments on our photos from our families and friends. They were also impressed with how well Josiah and Steph blended into the ceremony and reception while still being able to capture some of the most epic dance floor photos ever. An extra surprise was that they put a sneak peak of our photos on an iPad slideshow on our dessert table at our reception - our guests loved this, and so did we! Their work did not stop on wedding day. They went out of their way to edit certain photos/videos that we requested, which was really above and beyond! nstant calm. I was nervous for our engagement shoot and thought it would be awkward, but they made us feel so comfortable and that got us ready for the big day. On the actual wedding day they kept everything moving, got through all the family pictures swiftly, and caught some amazing candids throughout the night. They asked if there was anyone special they should keep an eye on throughout the night and we mentioned that both of our grandmothers are our only living grandparents and if they can try to get some extra shots of them. It was so sweet and special for them to even ask that. We have so many amazing memories from that night AND extra special pictures of our grandmothers. I have since had 3 people at my wedding book them for their wedding because they are so great at what they do. We got our photos back after our wedding so quickly that we were able to share them with friends and family while the excitement from our wedding was still buzzing! Wedding planning is stressful and overwhelming, but picking Josiah and Steph as our wedding photographers was the easiest choice we made!

Courtney and Ryan perfectly captured our day and ensured we had fun while doing so. We are so happy with how all of the photos came out and couldn't have asked for a better photography duo to be there with us through our big day. We will always look at those photos and smile.

For our engagement shoot, Josiah indulged our idea to take photos at one of our first-date spots (Pub & Kitchen) and the laughs kept rolling. On our wedding day, Josiah and Steph felt like a part of our wedding crew; my husband says that Josiah made him feel more comfortable as he waited for the First Look reveal of me in my dress- and Steph generously carried my wedding train around a dusty canal path to get the best shots. Josiah and Steph directed us with ease but also were receptive to our inspired ideas (which was important to me, as there were specific venue shots I wanted). The final collection of photos completely blew us away- gorgeous details, a mix of portrait and landscape style photos, candid images on the dance floor that make me so happy, and a very easy photography portal to navigate. Although we were unclear if we wanted full videography, Josiah arranged for raw video of our ceremony and speeches that was cost-efficient and an impressive quality. Do not hesitate - Josiah and Steph were professional, top-notch photographers who produced pictures we will cherish forever.
