I’ve been hooked on photography since 1998, when my dad handed me his old Pentax and I started seeing the world a little differently. Ever since, I’ve been chasing light, moments, and stories through the lens. These days, I live in Reno, NV with my wife and two awesome kids. We’re an outdoorsy, adventure-loving crew who find joy in the simple stuff—campfires with friends, exploring wild places, and building community wherever we go. We love meeting new people, swapping stories, and saying yes to whatever adventure comes next.

presented a few challenges due a significant storm. Josiah was excited and embraced the weather to shoot in the snow and captured amazing images! So many of our guests commented on his service and raved about the final product once we received final edits. Indoor, outdoor, clear skies, heavy snow... it doesn't matter, Josiah is amazing. I think our favorite thing about his work is his ability to capture the little moments that emulate the vibe and emotion of our special day. We can't say enough good things about him. r families together for a weekend to meet one another and have some picture taken. Honestly being newbies to the Tahoe region, Josiah was very patient in helping us find certain places to shoot at, giving us advice of what would be the best for beautiful pictures. Even the day of the shoot, we requested a big, last-minute change and he was able to accommodate for us. Truly a professional and has an incredible eye! When my husband and I took individual pictures with him, he knew exactly where he wanted us and how to frame the shot, giving only minimal directions, which was very helpful for me! Best part was hiking up to this incredible vantage point! Easily the coolest thing we’ve ever done in Tahoe! Also, we got our photos back in just a few days and they are SIMPLY STUNNING! I can't believe how he was able to capture every element of our wedding, with us barely even noticing him as he navigated the angles and shots. He even lead us on a hike to get pictures of a beautiful view overlooking Lake Tahoe. He got all the great shots, but got all the in between ones too.
