I truly don't feel like 5 stars is enough - I wish I could give Joslyn 10 times that! Her photos are so beautiful, light, and airy and really...just perfection. She is super responsive, has a quick turnaround time, and made my husband and I feel SO comfortable from the time we took our engagements to our wedding day. She even picked sticker burrs out of my feet and dress when I couldn't do it myself! Not to mention, she shot our engagement photos in 110 degree weather and they somehow still turned out SO incredibly beautiful - she is seriously so talented! On top of being so professional, she is so kind, funny, warm and just an overall joy to be around and makes the process so much fun! (so is her daughter, who was our second shooter!) If you have the opportunity to book her, DO IT!

If I could give Joslyn 10 stars I would! Truly, if you have the opportunity to have Joslyn capture your big day do it!! From start to end the process with Joslyn and the final product was perfection. Joslyn is responsive and communicative. She is both talented and knowledgeable. Amidst Covid, Joslyn was flexible and always took precautions to make everyone feel safe. She is a gem of a human and I will certainly be recommending her to all my friends and family!!

I can't even put into words what Joslyn has done for me. From our first FaceTime meeting when we just clicked, to today where I feel comfortable texting here.. I'm coming away with more than just a wedding photographer. Not only was she patient, she was also super flexible and compassionate with all our rescheduling thanks to covid. I couldn't even begin to describe how amazing Joslyn was. As soon as we sat down with her for the first time, we knew she was awesome. She did our engagement photos and made us so comfortable in front of the camera. She even let us include our dog in the pictures and was super excited about it! I couldn't describe a wedding photographer better than Joslyn!! She is beyond amazing and everything I could look for in a photographer. If she can make my 6'7" football playing fiancé smile for engagement photos in July in Texas she can do ANYTHING. She was so enjoyable throughout the entire experience and had my vision in mind after a short conversation. Before the wedding day we were able to fill out forms of certain photos we wanted, etc. which made the pictures on the day of so easy. She captured everything I wanted and I will cherish these photos for many years to come. I had multiple guests of mine come up and tell me how much of a joy Joslyn and her husband, Bud, were to be around. 10 stars! Joslyn Holtfort is so patient, kind, professional and really adds that personal touch to her photos. We really enjoyed how easy and comfortable we felt working with her in just a short amount of time. We only worked with her during wedding photos but would highly recommend for engagement as well! Her attention to light, angles and details is incredible. I gave her a challenge with squeezing in ideas/photos that inspired me and she was able to capture them all and more! I had a wedding dress emergency and she came through! From the time we scheduled to our wedding, she was always available for any questions. Searching for a photographer was the most time consuming part of wedding planning. Finally, we came across Joslyn and we are so thankful that we did! She took our engagement photos and traveled to San Antonio for our wedding. The photos turned out better than we expected. There aren't enough beautiful words for me to describe how I feel about working with Joslyn. She was always so easy and flexible to work with for both our engagement pictures and wedding photos. We live in Houston, but got married in Dripping Springs and decided to have our engagement photos in Houston. She drove down from Austin and even without seeing the locations we took our engagement pictures before, she absolutely killed it. I knew from the moment I saw Joslyn's website I wanted her to be my photographer and she did not disappoint. I've only gotten my engagement pictures and sneak peak pictures back from the wedding and they're all so absolutely beautiful I cannot wait for the rest. Brag moments for Joslyn: - she brought a sewing kit, and when one of my buttons popped off SHE sewed it on for me. - She brought so many accessories for my detail photos such as ring box and made them look absolutely gorgeous. Joslyn truly cares about her clients and her work and I am so happy to have had her for our special day.

Working with Joslyn felt like working with my cooler, artistic aunt. She worked seamlessly with me and my husband and made us feel like family. My husband HATES taking pictures and as a result always closes his eyes/ looks super awkward in photos (lolz) and Joslyn had a magical way of making him feel so comfortable, using natural motion to just help him tap into being himself & it created so much more of a natural/ authentic vibe of our pictures. I also LOVED the brightness and exposure Joslyn is able to create in her photos -- I'm a very Type A, picky person and everything Joslyn created for us from start to finish was perfect, she's a natural at her job. We shot our engagement photos in November and it was a little cloudy/ had some rain and Joslyn brought some cute, see through umbrellas for us to use as impromptu photo props and they turned out so cute we used them in our save-the-dates! Leading up to our wedding, she was always SO responsive and helped us made sure our timeline made sense and didn't sacrifice the things that were most important to us. I loved that she gave us a little 'sneak peek' for our wedding photos, it was a fun treat while we were on our honeymoon! The pictures look so perfect and are truly something we will treasure for the rest of our LIVES. I can't express how grateful I am to Joslyn for capturing the wedding of our DREAMS!! I'm already thinking of future life moments we can have her capture for us (family Christmas photos/ newborn pictures), I loved her style and Joslyn is a genuine human being that wants to make couples feel treasured and special on their wedding day. thank you, Joslyn!!!

We were so comfortable around her right away that another vendor assumed we had hired a longtime friend to do our photography! Joslyn was literally a life-saver for us! Having to find a new photographer after our initial engagement photos turned out poorly, we were slightly discouraged at the prospects until we came across Joslyn’s positive and kind-hearted personality. We are absolutely in love with our wedding photos! Joslyn captured our day perfectly and was a joy to work with. She is very thoughtful, organized and easy to communicate with. The night of the wedding I remember telling my husband that Joslyn was so good that I didn't even remember seeing her run around the place! Abby sprung into action and became an honorary bridesmaid by saving the day! When choosing vendors, we were so nervous about picking the right one. Wow, where to begin? We first met Joslyn at a cute coffee shop in Austin and she is the absolute sweetest woman. For one, we expected so much out of our photos because we did not get a videographer - and she achieved the unexpected!! We are seriously so in love with out photos - they are romantic, elegant, and timeless! We used Joslyn for our save the date photos and the wedding photos and she far exceeded our expectation. She even printed our most favorites on the cutest white boarded prints. We had two photographers for our wedding and they both worked their magic. So organized and managed time well on the wedding day. Got all of our shots in quickly so we could get to the party! After the wedding, the photos took about 4-6 weeks before we got our hands on the prints (which for 1000+ pictures, that is no time at all), she sent the USB drive of ALL photos and our prints in the most adorable package. It melted my heart. We were super impressed with the whole process and we adore our photos! Thank you, Joslyn!

Best Photographer Ever!! She was amazing, from our first meeting with her to even after the wedding is over. She was very helpful and knew exactly what we were wanting in our photos. We gave her an idea and she ran with it!! I loved working with her and she made it so easy to feel comfortable as we went through the photo shoots. The bridal shoot was the best! It was easy, she picked a BEAUTIFUL location that matched my ideas, and she helped me with my dress. The entire shoot was a blast and we had so much fun laughing and enjoying the beautiful day together! I could not imagine anything else that I could have wanted. During the wedding, she was always on point and never missed an important shot. She made sure that we had our “specialized” photos done at specific times and also made sure we didn’t miss any meaningful ones that we would think about later on. She always checked in with me and made sure that I was doing alright (outside of just the photos). She is so thoughtful and sweet. She is amazing! She has great ideas for poses/placements that turned out to be our FAVORITE photos! We were open to anything she wanted to try and the photos all came out great. I knew that I did not have to worry about my products after she was done editing them. 100% the best in the business. Even months later, she still keeps in contact. We love her and we love ALL of our photos!!

There is no one else I would have rather had photograph my wedding besides this gem...she was thoughtful, punctual and just so fun to be around that day. Joslyn was our *favorite vendor* on the day of our wedding. Her presence was calm and efficient, relaxed and direct, supportive and humorous. Leading up to the wedding, we communicated a few times on the types of shots we wanted the most, like our first look. Sometimes during the day, she had to push back on people who were wanting to interrupt, and she took special care to linger longer on those moments that meant most to us. That careful attention sure paid off! The variety and quality of our first look and couple shots are just incredible. We also had a specific list of the various “group” family photos, and with a predetermined game plan, we were able to breeze through them efficiently. The only thing we would have done differently with Joslyn is carve out more hours for her! She is so good at capturing moments and we wished we would have put money aside for another hour or two. Book her the first chance you get!
