Services Offered Event Site/Bridal Suite Rentals Full-Service Catering & Beverage Packages History This historic retreat was first constructed in 1982 when the Joullian and Sias families purchased the property and had the land re-terraced. Once the contouring of the landscape was complete, the families and the head winemaker, Ridge Watson, planted vines that covered a 40-acre portion of the land. The winery was opened in 1991 and featured Carmel Valley's first-ever Zinfandel, along with many other wines. Following Tom and Jane's new ownership of the venue in 2015, Ridge Watson stepped down in 2017 and new winemaker Matt Piagari stepped in. Now, the team continues to maintain the values of the original winery, which includes crafting complex wines with character and finesse.
