I booked this company for my wedding makeup and Amanda and Grace did an INCREDIBLE job. Everyone was so happy with their makeup as we are a group that does not normally wear a lot of makeup. They met us where we were at, gave us a soft glam natural look that looked amazing in pictures! Not only that, but they are both sweet, easy-going, friendly people that made the process fun and easy. I booked wedding makeup through Anna. Her associate Amanda did both my trial session which I used for engagement photos, and my wedding day makeup. Amanda also applied makeup for a few bridesmaids and mom's. She did amazing work!! I felt nothing short of gorgeous on both days. Amanda really made me feel comfortable with her down to earth personality. The process of booking with Anna was a breeze and I'd recommend her and her associates to everyone!

If there’s one thing you won’t have regrets about on your wedding day – it’s booking Anna for your makeup! I had a large bridal party, plus a few additional attendants and family members who needed their makeup done (15 in all) so we ended up having her associate Amanda come with her. I am so happy with how seamless everyone’s makeup looked together with two different artists! Both Anna and Amanda had such sweet and calming personalities – and I didn’t even realize the importance of having this this positive energy on such a monumental day in my life. I know that everyone was happy with their makeup (which was extremely important to me) because a few people who initially weren’t going to get their makeup done had regrets about opting out after seeing how the others looked! Anna and Amanda were kind enough to squeeze in makeup applications for these additional girls – something they did not need to do but was so greatly appreciated! I can only hope that I have the opportunity to work with Anna again in the future. She is such an amazing makeup artist and in general an absolutely wonderful person!

Anna was an amazing Bridal makeup artist! She did my bridal makeup as well as the makeup for 10 other people on the day of my wedding and everyones makeup looked amazing. I was impressed by how long the airbrush lasted. She was extremely kind and professional, and did a great job of matching the look of my inspiration photos. Anna was absolutely fabulous to work with!! As someone who doesn't wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis I wanted a more "natural glam" look on my wedding day and Anna nailed it! She was incredibly detail oriented and was sure to do touch ups right before pictures to make sure everything was perfect. I have nothing but entirely positive things to say about Amanda Hommerding - she was amazing, so easy to work with, listened to everyone’s interests and needs and did beautiful work. She was timely, professional and so wonderful. Communication with Anna was prompt but frustrating - be aware there is $99 booking fee that is not used as a deposit- it is an additional charge and this was not made clear until the week before my wedding. Price is set regardless of whether false lashes and airbrush are desired. If this information had been transparent at time of booking, or if Anna had made any effort to remedy, my review would be higher but hope this makes others aware!

Anna was INCREDIBLE. I have never felt prettier in makeup and to have it be on my wedding day was so special. Not only is she so on top of everything, she is the kindest human. During both my trial and my wedding day, it felt like I was talking with a friend. Although we had a small ceremony due to Covid, I had people asking me throughout the day who did my makeup. I wish I could have her for every event and heck, every day! I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you so much, Anna!!! ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about Anna. She is so incredibly talented and kind and personable and made everyone feel so beautiful. She was great with communication throughout the whole process from the trial to the day of, and she has a really organized brochure/online platform so you can go back to the info/pricing/details whenever you need to! Day of, she got through all 9 of us with plenty of time to spare for touch ups and made sure everyone looked perfect before she left. I would pick her a million times over!!

Anna did an absolutely amazing job on my bridal makeup! I wanted an elegant and classic makeup look and Anna exceeded my expectations. My makeup lasted the entire day, even in the hot July weather. Anna was easy to work with and kept me informed through the whole planning process. She allowed for plenty of time before my big day to trial my makeup. Anna was truly amazing!! I love makeup, and she did an incredible job making me feel beautiful but also like myself on my day. My makeup lasted through outdoor photos in August, a boat ride, and dancing during the party. She also did makeup for my mom, MIL, and grandma, and was so reassuring and careful that they also felt (and looked!) gorgeous, not to mention my bridesmaids. I would 100% recommend Anna!

As a 2020 bride who got married in December during the wedding reception shut down, our initial plan changed multiple times in the month and a half leading up to our wedding day. Anna was so responsive, flexible, and willing to make it work for us no matter what our final plan ended up being. We got married in a small ceremony with just our immediate family, and I am so glad I decided to still get my makeup done! It turned out gorgeous, made the pictures look amazing, and overall made me feel so beautiful! We rescheduled our wedding reception for Fall 2021, and Anna was so accommodating with the postponement. I hired Anna for my wedding and she did a spectacular job on everyone! I don't wear makeup often so my husband and I wanted a more natural look and it turned out exactly how we wanted it! It also held up well throughout the day even when I started crying while saying I do! Totally recommend!

I hired Anna for my wedding on July 25, 2020 and I am sooo happy I went with her! She was so easy to work with and always answered my questions. Anna is AMAZING! My bridal trial was so much fun and she made us feel super comfortable... she was so friendly and outgoing. Throughout the entire wedding planning process she was easy to reach and always responded in a timely manner. Anna did the makeup for my engagement and wedding photos and both times I felt so beautiful! She customized the look to fit each of the events, and the makeup looked flawless on my face both times. She’s super real and easy to spend time with. I’d highly suggest airbrush and falsies for your look!

Anna did an AMAZING job with the makeup for our wedding last weekend. My makeup was flawless and did not move the entire night even through outdoor pictures in snow, wind, and rain. We also had a racially diverse bridal party she did a great job of matching skin tones and highlighting the unique features of each person. I selected Anna from pictures of her work that I found on her website and by reading her reviews. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to schedule a makeup trial in her well-appointed home studio. Anna listened to my ideas and spent the time needed to get the details of my makeup just right. I would highly recommend her air brush option, as it felt light and stayed on until I took it off. Anna not only has wonderful makeup skills, but she has a friendly, warm personality. On the day of our wedding, she was relaxed and even flexible enough to include two additional people, who asked if they could have their makeup done after they saw her impressive work. I would trust Anna to look your best on your special day.

Can we first talk about how sweet Anna is?! She was so easy going, fun and amazing! She asked what was most important to have for makeup. When I did my trial she did the exact same make up for my wedding day! No changes, she’s that good!!

Okay Anna is absolutely amazing! My makeup looked flawless on my wedding day! At my trial I had no clue what I wanted to do because my makeup is usually pretty minimal and I usually go for a natural look. Well, Anna knew exactly what to do and my trial look was what I thought was pretty perfect. But little did I know on my wedding day somehow she made my makeup look actually perfect! She suggested changing it up a bit and making my eyeshadow a little darker than it was at my trial. The changes she made and how she did my makeup turned out better than I could have imagined! I received compliments all day and was so surprised about how well it stayed until the end of the night! To top it all off, every single one of my bridesmaids LOVED their makeup and raved about how good Anna is! Alsooooo Anna is so sweet, easy to work with and makes you feel so beautiful! Booking Anna Joy Makeup was easily one of the best wedding decisions I made during the whole planning process. She was able to book me pretty last minute and was so organized, communicative, and accommodating prior to our wedding day. 10/10. No question, Anna is amazing. I actually had another artist booked and after my trial I decided it wasn’t a good fit. Anna had actually done my makeup for my boudoir photos a few weeks earlier and THANK GOODNESS she was available for my day. She does airbrush and I absolutely loved my makeup (so did the other 8 girls she did!). It stayed all day, even in the heat and humidity (& rain, and tears). She is so personable and I loved getting to know her from my boudoir photos, trial and wedding day. She truly made me feel beautiful and I loved my makeup!

Working with Anna was so fun and easy! She was very accommodating and let me say what I wanted to look like on my wedding. Her pricing is so reasonable and well worth it. The airbrush makeup lasted all day at the end of June in heat and humidity. I didn't have to retouch any of it all day! Which was amazing :) also I had two bridesmaids decide to get their makeup done the day of because it looked great on everyone else.

She is affordable, has everything you could want: airbrush, false eyelashes, every shade and brand of foundation, any color you could want for eyes/lips, and it all looked SO flawless. Anna is absolutely amazing, if you are looking for makeup in the two. Cities area STOP looking! Anna not only is the sweetest person you'll ever meet but she is so great at what she does. I felt so confident in Anna I didn't even do a trial run because her work speaks for itself. I lost zero sleep knowing anna was going to do my wedding makeup with no trial (I chose no trial because I was just too busy, she offers trials lol). It came to my wedding day and she exceeded my expectations, along with my wedding party! I swear by this woman and know for a fact she will make you look STUNNING for the day of your wedding weather you want a full face or more natural I'm convinced she is a master of all!

Anna did my makeup for my engagement photo shoot. It was beautiful! The perfect amount of glam because I'm not typically much of a make up wearer.
