A class act! Original styling and decor, creative ideas and a flare for detail. Be My Guest is a step above the rest. Joyce made my wedding day elegant, beautiful and stress free!!! She personally designed the beautiful menus, customize each one with calligraphy. Suggested a more elegant look with the chair sashes, which more a HUGE different. Upon entering our reception, I felt like I was stepping in a fairy tale, which was the theme of our BIG day. Oh and the suggested selection of flowers and order of service. She was truly there for us like part of our family. My husband and I were so happy we found this jewel (Joyce) to plan our wedding and now other events! Be My Guest is better than the rest!

Joyce literally saved my life throughout my wedding planning process! She was very knowledgeable about anything that had to do with my wedding. She gave me great recommendations and referrals. She made sure every "I" was dotted and every "T" was crossed. Her professionalism, communication and time management are out of this world and she loves what she does. The day before my wedding she even saved me (I thought I could do it myself) and helped me steam my Bridemaids robes and get their stencils on their hangers. She lightened my load so much and I'm so thankful for her.

Working with Joyce was an absolute pleasure. I brought her on a few months before the wedding to help me get things across the finish line, manage my vendors and run point on the day off. From our first consultation it was very evident that she would do everything in her power to give my husband and I the wedding we wanted. She was very responsive through the time we worked together and went above and beyond providing me with ideas that aligned with my taste. LaJoyce planned a Bridal Shower for me and I could not be more pleased. Everyone loved it and it was so beautiful. She made everything SO easy for me and it’s overwhelmingly evident how much she cares about her clients. It is impossible to express how truly grateful I am. The most amazing thing is that LaJoyce pulled all of this together remotely, and in one month. She is truly talented and I can’t WAIT to work with her again! Every single detail was perfect. Joyce was the wedding planner for a wedding that I attended last July in St. Louis and she did an absolute beautiful job. The ceremony was at The Jewel Box (I believe that's the name of the venue) and along the aisle were flower boxes of Hydrangeas, a beautiful custom wagon for the bride and groom's son to be chauffeured in and just truly elevated. The ceremony and reception were both well organized, seamless and exciting to say the least. So many beautiful details that complimented the bride and groom, their culture and love. I'd definitely hire Joyce for my personal events.

My niece got married in St. Louis in August and the day would not have been the wonderful success it was with out Joyce. She was there every step of the way making the day run absolutely seamlessly. Everything we needed (and didnt know we needed!) she had prepared and organised. She somehow managed to organise everything like clockwork while not being imposing. Joyce was professional and diligent; the inevitable last-minute changes were handled without fuss and her creativity and experience showed every step of the way.

Be My Guest Event! My goodness. Two confident individuals decided to get married. Thinking of the event as nothing different than any other, the decision to get a wedding planner was not priority. When we concluded that it was a priority, it was solely for the day of. News flash: it is so much more than the day of! Thank God for Be My Guest Events. All vendors accounted for. The wedding party and family were comforted and prepped. And the guests were hosted with love. This bride and groom did exactly what they should on the wedding day, ENJOY IT! My daughter was getting married and I thought we really had a grasp on things. I had planned many events in my lifetime but hadn't realized so much had changed and decided to encourage my daughter to seek someone for day of help. Through some conversation we discovered that she didn't offer day of but had a different package. It was actually better. I felt much more secure in spending money for someone actually interested in working alongside us to kinda pick up the pieces and hop in where we were. Joyce was always right there when I'd see something out of place or out of order. It was like there were two of me. She is wise beyond her years and I'm glad I trusted my daughter when she was interested in hiring someone so close in age to her. She handled each task with poise and tact and was so diplomatic. I will certainly be referring her to my colleagues!

Joyce and Be My Guest Events gave my wife and I the perfect wedding. To see my wife's face light up when she saw the finished product truly made my day. Joyce really made our day perfect. She was able to meet every request that we had and then some. Joyce literally made my wife's Pinterest board come to life. I could not imagine my wedding without Joyce and Be My Guest Events. The attention to detail was unmatched. Joyce really took away any stress that I had and was so responsive. She really went above and beyond to make sure that I had my dream wedding. For example, my venue came with permanent altar decorations that I didn't care for. Joyce was able to cover it up and create an amazing backdrop. She also created a lounge area and rented furniture that matched the decor perfectly. Joyce helped break things down for me, piece by piece, not by what was popular in style but what reflected my husband and I's personality as individuals and as a couple. I can also be very undecided but Joyce was always patient with me. She worked extremely hard on the weekend of my wedding and I wanted to be as lax as possible to not make her job any harder than it already was (I think I succeeded). At my reception, I told Joyce that I had ZERO complaints with my day. I had a blast. Some of the things that I found extremely helpful throughout the planning period and day of: -Joyce took over all communication with my vendors (this is something I was looking forward to NOT doing) -I misplaced my vow book on the morning of my wedding. In between setting up decor at the venue, Joyce brought me another vow book to the hotel before the start of the ceremony -I still had guests arriving to the church when I arrived so some of Joyce's assistants managed to find some material to keep me covered so I could enter the church without being seen. -All rented items were returned promptly the next day. Most people reflect on their wedding day about things they would change about their day if they had the chance - that's not me. There isn't a single thing I would change

I've worked with Be My Guest Events as a client and along side them as a vendor. Each time has been nothing less than spectacular. They do a wonderful job of creating an event that is specific to the client (i.e. incorporating vinyl records for a wedding, or creating a lemonade stand for photos for a one year old's birthday party). Their attention to detail is unmatched, and their relationship with vendors is amazing.
